Scored 88 on my 25-qn Excel Power User exam. Took about 10 minutes to complete since the test was not hard but still have no clue what I did wrong. Amir, thank you for this refresher guide! You saved me 3-4 hours that I would have to spend on reviewing all i know in excel. Much aprreciated

Yes, I did each test separately, but I don't remember if I had the option to log off and come back later to finish. I just did them both in one sitting.
Hello question, for proveit test, what kind of question do they have in MS Word & Excel? is it multiple choice and if so can you give me at least an idea. thank you so much i need to prepare because i have a test in proveit also..
Migs Mangiliman the test is a practical test. You have to answer the question using your mouse. So if something can done with 3 clicks, you will not get the 4th click. At this point you can repeat the question or move to the next one. You will not be able to come back to the questions you miss.

Amir, I had to take a break to handle family issues and just got back to your Word video. I jumped straight to this exam part 1 - feeling pretty confident that just from Word part 1 video, I would understand what I knew and immediately grasp what I did not know. I am so happy to say, I remembered what I learned from your Word Part 1 video and was able to follow this exam video with understanding! With the process of elimination, I see what I need to focus on. I will head to Word part 2 video.

This tutorial is sooo helpful and easy to follow!! I didn great on my test. I couldn't find the custom formatting on their ribbon to highlight the specific answer. The girl said that was a common complaint??? I passed sand that is all the matters. Thank you!
Hi Amir - when you spoke about page breaks, you said it can be treated like a section break. Page breaks that are part of the same section are oriented together. A page in a different section can be made portrait or landscape but be different from the previous pages if they are separated by a SECTION break. This is found on the Page Layout tab, click on the "breaks" icon and the drop down list will offer you a selection from which you can pick "page" or "section" break.

I've got a question, in word test, are there "correct" ways to do the questions? eg, put a boarder under, i usually go with typing "---" and "enter". this will do the same as using the "boarder" button. but will this be counted as "correct" answer? i mean the even though outcome is the same, do i have to use the boarder button. same as a lot of other shortcuts? thanks for your time
linguisticnerd From what I have seen; keyboard shortcuts are not recognized by most of the exam tests. So we have to answer the question from the Ribbon, I am just glad that Right click works, at one point even that was not an option. All the best.

Denise Halter one keyboard shortcut is ctrl+shift+enter, but his will delete everything, it is the same as Page Layout - Breaks - Column. Do you remember exactly the words used? As most the time the answer is there in the question. whether it is to do with "convert text to table."

I am pretty sure your exam is done, but is this question for Excel or in Word (table). In excel the answer would be a simple formula =C3-B3.
