just recently got into crochet and trying some free patterns i found online. as i'm new, i had no idea what "front post" and "back post" meant, and your video was SO clear, informative, and helpful! thank you!
I am so blown away by your patterns and your tutorials. I've crocheted all of my life (almost literally, since I was about 4 or 5!) and love finding some of the new things I haven't tried. Your tutorials -- both written and video--make it so easy to figure out new techniques. Videos are so clear; I see absolutely every stitch, and it's so helpful when you repeat the process many times. I'll be buying more of your patterns. You're the bomb! :)
I’m sitting here learning this for the first time trying to figure out if I just did a front post or a back post so I knew which to do next. 🤯 I just couldn’t see it. “Called front post because you’re pulling it to the front, and back post because you’re pushing it to the back”?! Thank you!! It’s the simple things that make all the difference.
No wonder my ribbing didn't look like it was supposed to lol. I was going in the front and back of the top v not the post! Very easy explanation! Thank you!
I was getting so frustrated with a pattern doing front post/back post... turns out i was doing front loop/back loop..... this tutorial will save my project :) thanks
I love the colors in your preview shot at the beginning of your video….you wouldn’t happen to know the colors and have a patter for that particular blanket?

Do I need even or odd stitches?
That'll depend on what you're making.
