This clip is from part one of the cable TV movie two-parter from 1993. Rolanda (Rhonda Stubbins-White) is facing insurmountable challenges to get her life in order. She's losing her teenage son (Vonte Sweet) to the streets while an abusive ex-boyfriend and father (T.C. Ellis) of her five-year old daughter (Ondrea Shallbetter) re-merges to throw her life back into chaos.
Rolanda's younger half brother Marcus (Monté Russell) reacquaints with his old friend Anthony (Gary Dourdan) who presents him a new 'opportunity' to score some serious bucks.
