Rap is full to the brim with artists who borrow names like Escobar and Scarface from pop culture. Wayne was born into a movie with a crazier script than where he and his label took their inspiration from. Theres only Tupac and Eminem that have that degree of mythical aura around their entire lives to me. And this is all old news, but Waynes only just turned 40. Definition of a Living Legend.

Weezy hands down IS THE GOAT. Just gotta name 1 album to cement this. Tha carter. AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE start to finish. Just the prelude/interlude and ending ( the tour) alone is by far the best rap ever. Wayne has something going for him that not many rappers have going for them, not only is his flow unmatched but he tells a story. Back in the early 00's we had what i called street prophets. Lil wayne, Juelz Santana and Young Jeezy had very amazing stories they would tell through their lyrics. All you had to do was listen.
