I bought the cheaper grinder today because I tried this one in the store and HATED that awkward switch. Plus, I want a tool to stop spinning the second it leaves my hand, if there’s ever a mishap with it. Just my opinion.
Take my advice! If you're buying this tool to specifically cut stones, bricks, pavers etc., do not buy the cordless / battery version. You cannot rotate the handle on it which makes you have to hold your wrist sideways in an uncomfortable and awkward position to hold the power button down. The corded version will let you rotate the handle so that your hand is pointing downward, just as it is using it as a grinder. Very unfortunate they chose to do this with the battery version. Also the tool doesn't look like this video. It doesn't have a gray rubber side bar. It has a cheap black plastic one with absolutely no grip. Does not have a top lock switch either. It now has 2 plastic buttons you hold down on top and bottom.
Not true I use it all the time it does cut off when a jam is detected most likely the putting to much pressure onto the grinder over forcing it . A grinder you move easy and let it cut for you smoothly
Rubbish the brushless grinder constantly cuts out and you need to pull out the battery pack to get it to restart, switched back to the brushed version.
Show us how to attach detach and use it please
Your voice is golden

paddle switch sucks compared to this switch imo
Does ryobi have something to grind a flat surface?
Just bought mine!
is there a wheel to purchase that i can use to cut thru concrete that will fit this tool?
How long do you charge it because mine wont hold a charge
How come you don’t work with my blue battery that came with the original Ryobi 18 V
because that batteries a piece of $***
I had most the old blue ryobi cordless tools...they made sure when the lithium came along that you had to repurchase everything
I got my grinder a year ago and it did not come with a easy fix nut why?!! I’m mad now

Why do I hear this grinder keeps cutting out after barely any use

What is the power of the motor?
The brushless motor provides a no-load speed of 11000 rpm.
My grinder won't turn on what could be wrong.
Hi Santos, sorry to hear this you can find our service centers here: es.ryobitools.eu/header/servicios-tecnicos/

Need 3/8 inch impact and Id never need another brand.
It's here BTW.
Terrible design...... try to grind a flat surface....
That's why it is called an Angle Grinder. It isn't a flat surface grinder.
