He blows right by the $10,000 Market Adjustment on the sticker. Really we're that gullible.
Seriously that ain't the case in most regions. Its really not selling that well in reality. I've seen discounts off of MSRP's. And bigger ones on SR5's that ain't selling. Why would I buy this crap full of hard plastics for 66K when I can go down the street right now and pick out a ZR 2 loaded for 49K that will blow this thing out of the water. My dealer has three at that price. Hell even a loaded raptor costs 58K. And nothing can touch that as far as performance. Its a beast. Yota can take there yoyo tax and shove it lol.
Lots full here. I don't think anyone is really buying. They already starting discounting. But not near enough only like $1000
@@HiPlains1the bison will cost you more. But generally, yeah I can't argue with you. They are discounting the Nissans and Colorado's both are better. Hell even a Honda Ridgeline

Great video! Couple of corrections though:
- You can option it with ventilated and heated seats if you get it with the premium package
- Another difference is you get different Bilstein shocks/struts that you don’t get on the TRD Sport which could be why the handling felt different
i saw a 39k taco trd off road today on autotrader. probably a base but im waiting for one more loaded certified used second year. as far as the gas to put in this pickup. go with what toyota recommends. if its tuned for 87 put 87. my .02
100% I wouldn’t buy from that dealership because they add on a lot of extra garbage plus a dealer markup. You didn’t want to show your viewers the addendum which had a total price of 66K. Hellllll no.
In reality they will likely sell that under MSRP. Nobody pays over MSRP now. Banks won't cover that anymore. But there are still some dealers that tack that BS to the window. Actually this truck is not selling all the well. Its not competitive. I mean for 49K you can buy a ZR 2. A loaded XLT with FX4 for around 45K. I mean a basic SR5 costs that much now. With street tires no less. They are not competitive in segment and will start to collect and rot on the lots along with the tundras which don't sell very well. I've seen 9K dollars off on Tundras. Nobody wants them.
So. It's a stealership?

Would you happen to know if this TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport have a higher STOCK ride height/lift than the SR5 versions? And you said with options, that Tacoma came out to $52K? I could've sworn it said to the very right of the $57K that you stopped at on the sticker price, it actually had more add-ons that brought the price to $66K.

Someone left a tv on the dash..... And the dash also looks higher then the third gen. Guess they want you to watch the tv.
With dealer options it’s 66k lol no way. For cloth seats, single zone climate etc… even 52k is a little high for a mid size
Little? Toyota has lost it. I can buy a Colorado ZR 2 for 49K. And its loaded with dual zone climate multimatic suspension the works. My dealer down the street has three at that price. Only thing toyota has to compete with that is the TRD Pro hybrid. And that's going to be 65-70K. Tacos are no longer competitive. I mean for 58K you can get a Ford Raptor with the HO 3.0 It will destroy the TRD pro as if it were tied to a post. Why the hell would you pay that kind of money when you can buy a raptor for less. Ford/GM price their trucks to sell. Toyota is pricing them to sit. As they already are with the Tundras.. rotting on the lots.
I drove mine to work and a hot girl complimented my truck lol. I guess owning a nice truck makes a difference.

The spray in bed liner is a rip off it has a composite bed no need for a spray in liner, just a bed mat is all one needs.
And i thought my 3rd gen was a p.o.s.
Then they came out with the 4th gen.

Why is it i can't stand this truck??. I didn't even really like my third gen but this seems even worse.
The big gawky dials? The fake chrome look on things that is crap plastic? The annoying giant tablet someone glued to the dash? Maybe its the red start button that reminds me of a clown nose? Could be the plastic bed that people keep complaining need bracing so the bed walls dont bend out. All the annoying sounds and chimes? Is it the cheap hard plastic? Like fisher price toys feeling. Or maybe it's because it looks like a tundra gave birth and this is the baby. The rattling glove compartment? Or the carry around in dash blue tooth speaker that seems like a gimmick? I mean a speaker is like what, $30? Definitely a gimmick.
Could be the exhaust is so far back it's going to hit things, but hey it's a black tip right...
The sound? Might be the sound. Not just the chimes and beeping but the motor sounds like a old honda accord with a exhaust leak. Really the inside is definitely tacky looking. Maybe it's the tiny rear window they started using in these. Which i still haven't quite figured out why. Could be the 4wd system. Nothing like brake lsd instead of a front locker. Because all 4wd should be totally antilock brake computer controlled with 10 useless settings to flip through. Hey! It could be the dials on the console right between the seats! Because that seems a bad place to put dials... Weren't they in the dash and on the overhead before?
Could be the dash in general.
You know what? I think it's everything. I dont think it is one thing. I think its the entire truck. Then when you add in the price its even more laughable. Like the red ignition button that reminds me of a clown nose.
