- Here is the full tour of the log cabin dollhouse we made for our son's critter dolls. I discuss the products, and how I made the house. I also show each room in detail! Hope you love it as much as I do!!

This is great! I love that your son will get to play with it. I have my dad's doll house from the 30s. He and his brother used it as the headquarters for their toy soldiers. The kitchen stove and fridge are the same green you chose for your kitchen cabinets.

Amazing job!!! I work mostly with 1:6 scale but two of my daughters are into 1:12 scale. Very inspiring. Thank You for sharing. I had no idea there was a scrapbook paper shop online 🫣. How did I miss that? I’m so sick of trying to find scrapbook paper that look like realistic 1:6 scale wallpaper. I hope they are not too expensive 🤞. I love the papers You picked. I always wanted a wood cabin as well as colonial home but where we live in Silicon Valley, California those are hard to come by but in the miniature world everything is possible 🫶.

You can go to scrapbook.com to find tons of amazing papers that work perfectly in 1:6 scale. Shipping can get pricey but the papers are reasonable at about 1 dollar each.

Have never seen a log cabin more than 2 stories tall, maybe 3 if there's an underground basement/pantry root cellar type of situation. But this is really cute

Is this 1:12 scale or what is the closest scale for the critters?
Calico critters are not as tall as 1:12 in height, but wide as 1:12. Originally this was a 1:6 Barbie house but I brought it down to a 1:12 scale for the critters. I made the pieces for the kitchen so that they would work for their height.
