To make the ride quality nice I had to upgrade the shocks and buy VERY expensive Michelin tires. I love that it's paid off as I hate car payments but I'm most definitely ready to move on from it. That’s the EXACT same one I have & I absolutely luv it. Super Cruise is so much improved from it’s original form. I wish it had HUD & more power as those are my only minor complaints. The engine isn’t terrible. Thanks Joe. 👍🇺🇸🚘
I recently bought this exact car. My biggest challenge was downsizing from the power of a 2500 Duramax to the 4 cylinder turbo. I am a middle aged male with a heavy foot. To be blunt, Chevy should have put a v6 in the car. Regardless of how it performs, it will simply be a decision point for anyone buying it right from the start. When you look at a vehicle this big, you immediately question a 4 cylinder versus something more. Especially for $57K. It took me a few days to decide on the car and I was fortunate to have a dealer that allowed me time to demo the vehicle for 24 hours to get comfortable with it. I never really experienced something to support my concern (engine), but like I said in the beginning I immediately questioned the 4 cylinder and I kept telling myself it would be an issue. After driving this for several days, here is my assessment. Would I prefer a 6 cylinder - yes. Does the 4 cylinder perform - yes. But I would much prefer an 8 cylinder over both :). This is a preference, but I do not feel limited. As others have commented, the 4 cylinder is a little noisy if you accelerate quickly, but the engine surprisingly moves this vehicle well. I feel like any acceleration hesitation (perceived or otherwise) I may experience is more associated with it being FWD, not necessarily the engine. I continue to try different driving modes and switching between FWD and AWD. I feel like the car accelerates better in AWD vs FWD as it distributes the power better. As for the car, there is so much here. This car is amazing. I am on my 6th Chevy in 12 years and this is hands down one of the most enjoyable vehicles I have owned. I moved on from my 2500 Diesel because my needs changed. I needed less of a utility vehicle and more of a daily driver. It looks amazing (especially the red), and comes loaded with options. The interior design is impressive, but not overwhelming. Tons of interior space with numerous standard options (I have the RS). Reclining rear seats, climate controls, heated/cooled seats, etc. And for someone coming from a truck, the cargo space is massive with the second and third row seating down. The technology in this car is unmatched for the price point. Big screens, tons of options. One of the reasons I needed something like this is we do a lot of longer distance driving. The Smart Cruise is unbelievable. This feature is not Traverse specific, but this Smart Cruise has changed me. Drives the car, changes lanes, etc. I am still getting comfortable with it, but I will never buy another car without it. In summary, I believe the 2024 Traverse is a really good buy. The car is loaded with features and has unmatched curb appeal. The 4 cylinder will always be questioned, but I do not think its an issue. It performs adequately but I still feel like Chevy should consider a 6 cylinder, even if it is only an option to a standard 4 cylinder. I think people will just get hung up on it even though I do not think its a performance issue. I spent 3 days at my dealer. At one point there were 4 Traverse's being test driven at the same time. Of all the cars on the lot, the Traverse was getting the most attention. They had 4 RS models that just came in and they were all sold before or within 24 hours of them coming off the transporter. My guess is they will see something similar with the 2025 redesign on the Tahoe. Hope this helps.
As a 04 Chevy Trailblazer owner. This is what I always wanted in a 2025 Trailblazer. Traverse name does not justify this look/model. They literally built and named these a** backwards.
AGREED 100%. Chevy has put zero foresight into planning their nameplates and it all seems so haphazard and backwards. They made the Trailblazer into this tiny SUV and used the Traverse name for THIS? And the Blazer... should have been an offroader to compete with the Bronco.I love this Traverse but it should have been a Trailblazer, period. And it needs a V8 or a twin turbo V6 at the very least.
I like this upgrade. I have the 2023 Traverse Premier with the Red Line package, pretty much it’s like the RS, and I would trade mines in for this upgrade
This is awesome, yesterday you had a nice Ford Expolorer ST-Line that gets 29mpg highway with a 10 speed transmission vs this Traverses 8 speed and 24mpg. Must be one heck of an Overdrive gear in that Ford.

4 banger should have hybrid drive to help with that engine noise and fuel efficiency . Gm missed that opportunity . The only thing this can compete with the other brands is the styling and price .
We went with the Acadia over the Mazda. The CX-90's back seat leg room is abysmal for such a large SUV, and with two boys, that was an absolute deal breaker. Also, the dealers would simply not come off the MSRP on the Mazda at all. So far, we are loving the Acadia AT4.
GM has really gone all in on the split headlight design across their brands. The redesigned Traverse has a better split headlight design than the previous generation Traverse when it got a facelift in 2022. On the 2022 facelift, it was obvious that the daytime running lights at the top is where the main headlights used to be located on the pre-facelift model, and the main headlights are just in a square plastic housing where the foglights used to be located. Some automakers, like Genesis, can pull off split headlight designs quite well in my opinion.

That looks good, from Mom looking to sporty/sophisticated. Those rims are perfect size leaving meat on the tires. Zonk on the wiper, definitely hide that.
Chevy should have allowed the 3.6l V6 as an option. I think the 2.5L I4 is too small for the long-term. I do wonder why the 2.5l I4 isn't a turbo hybrid. I don't like the extra large blinds spot on the far rear side windows. I also wish all the seats would fold continuously flat without spaces.
