Watching the bronze garen all I could think about was how you could've told me it was me playing and I would believe you lmao, thank you for this video, it was very informative!
Insane and straight to the point vidéo !Is it the goal for every toplaner (taking T2 top and bot) or is there champions or situations were you shouldnt do that ? Thanks for answering guys
This is something I've recently realised. Game is going really well and then I throw it trying to take T3 early. Unless I can take T3 AND Inhib without inting there is just no value to that turret at all. It dies quickly anyway so it's not even an obstacle if your team is seiging properly later in the game.
10 years playing this game casually I never knew about the 50g last tower I've been always tunnel focus "get inhibi = win" lol when in reality if I take it early the only thing m doing is giving the enemy team more farm resources since the rest of my team is behind and can't do much. ill prioritize taking the t2 towers from now on, thanks!
Tier 3 is worth 50 global gold, so 250g. At least if you calculate the same way as you did with tier 2. The wiki actually say it is 50g local + 50g global so 300g total*
Quick question. What if the lane is at some sort of a stalemate where im stronger but cannot kill the enemy laner? do i shove and roam? do i attempt to pressure enemy jungler to gank me? whats the general correct move if the lane is forced into enemy top laner just turting under tower?
I think that all of those are probably possible options, depending on your champ and game state. If you feel that you could kill them if they weren’t turtling, you could push the wave, wait for it to bounce back and then hold a freeze to deny them resources and force them to walk up. This could even allow you to zone them off of exp if you’re that much stronger which is obv devastating for the enemy laner. Coordinating invades or taking rift with ur jgler is also an option depending on their pathing.
This video could really do with a pinned comment/update, as it's not fully accurate since V13.23 V13.23 Mid Lane Inner Turret: Local gold increased to 425 from 300 | Global gold reduced to 25 from 50 . Side Lane Inner Turret: Local gold increased to 675 from 550 | Global gold reduced to 25 from 50 . Inhibitor Turret: Local gold increased to 375 from 50 | Global gold reduced to 25 from 50
What if I'm playing jax or fiora but I lose the lane and can't match enemy top in the 1v1? I mean I can't really split push anymore. What to do in these situations?
look at the vod afterwards and analyze why you lost the lane to begin with tbh. You're looking at the wrong part of the game if you're thinking about what to do _after_ you've already messed up big time
you should be able to exert a lot more pressure. It takes like 30+ seconds for the enemy champ to push a wave at T2 back to your T2, so you can use that time to be at drag, secure enemy jungle camps, that sort of thing. You don't have to destroy it right that moment, as long as the enemy top can't do anything useful while you can you're already going to be in a better spot
I have a question about a specific scenario that I feel comes up somewhat often. If I am able to take top tier 1 and tier 2 but my mid/adc is unable (or unwilling) to match the enemy top laner (because they’re weak or just champs being played), should I still go bot to take bot tier 1 and tier 2 or should I defend top and try to get even more 1v1 kills.
Inner towers are worth 550 local gold and they give 50 global gold for each player (like every tower). so that would be 600 gold for the splitpusher and overall 800 gold for the team not 750.
@@EragonUK hope you make it! One of the biggest points of confusion I have at the moment. With some champs / comps the gold adv is enough to just win teamfights, but I don't really get the concept of 'splitpush wincon' other than that, or when people flame Western Fioras in pro for teamfighting. To say, I understand some vaguities, drawing pressure to the other side of the map than objectives for example. But I don't know what decisions to make when I can't force inhib turret dive in the 1 on 1, and both me and my opponent are running TP. This is particularly a problem with me converting games, where I'm a really fed split pusher who doesn't teamfight as well (cam, fio) where my team gets completely rolled in teamfights without me but there's no more obvious objectives to consume. Just a brain dump, not asking for all of this to be covered individually but maybe helps flesh potential topics for a video on this if you decide to make one. Thanks for the video as always.
I know kinda the macro of the turrets my peak elo was around plat 1, but i have a constantly problem that is.... if im not there with darius in the mid tf and i take turret it still not worth cause everyone died and i only took 800g. And almost everytime this happens in trash elo
This excuse of "if I split my team will die without me" is kind stupid. There are 3 scenarios: Either they win the fight without you, in that case you weren't needed anyway. Or they lose, but they made enemy waste CDs, and take some kills as well, in that case you took an objective, and can recall and defend the turret (and even cleanup and get kills), or they lost so hard that you being there would probably make no difference, and if they do insist on taking fights while behind, they are idiots, and joining them is actually the worst option since the TF with you will at best be a coin flip.
@@laerson123The last escenario is like the 30% of times actually. I know how to expand leads and take towers in mid game, but i kinda sucks more in laning phase. After that coment i reached d4 and stopped playing for 6 months i started again a week ago and my phase lane is more horrendous XD
And toplaners will sit top with a lead scared to go bot because you know in low elo those morons think he's trolling and they don't wanna leave their lane and now the optimal plan is ruined They think they can carry 0/10 at 10 mins or something with 50 cs xD this is a sickness i saw so many times whyle climbing to gold as a jugnler i often play top as shen because i like having impact in the game but it's really sad how people don't educate themselves on the topic, let alone items and runes etc

Your videos are SO helpful! I personally struggle with mid to late game macro as a top laner. Is it possible that you can make a video on this topic?
really great video, look forward to seeing more of these this year!

If you aren’t playing a split-pushing champion or if no objectives are up and you have no vision of the enemy team, then the risk would be too high
Great Video as always. Hope you are feeling better after the break :)
Yes more content like this pls 🙏
Thaks for the video :D What can you do against it as the losing side? For example the teemo in the first clip.
What happens if you rotate bot but the enemy bot lane stays and you can't 1v2 so it becomes a farm lane?
This is essential info. Hot damn.

Turns out I can't do basic maths. Local gold is 550g + 50*5 = 800g not 750g.

what if enemy is fed somewhat or they are poke-heavy team, and you cannot match them, what to do then?

Here the mid should rotate toplane and your botlane mid... but u will probably have to write to them cause them wont know

So then after both T2 towers are gone what is the objective for the top laner?
Sounds like a good vid idea!
