Like I need some more information on slo mo shots here and there along with vlogging and photography of the land? Kinda of a lot to ask 😂. Really enjoy your videos thank you for all the helpful info!

I was also in the same predicament and had narrowed down to those 2 choices as well. I chose the Sony A7iv. Just received it yesterday. Awesome so far. I have yet to go outdoors to test it out some more.
Thank you for the video. If you had to choose a Sony camera today, would you choose the Sony A7IV or the FX30 and why? The film footage in a comparison of the FX30 to the A7 IV. These of the A7IV were sharper! It is possible that you can film longer with the FX30, but in the end the image is the most important what is your opinion
The A7iv has a better image overall and sensor, but will overheat if recording long form. The FX30 will not overheat and also has a great image, but not quite as good as the A7iv due to the sensor size and all... If I were doing long form recording I would go with the FX30 or FX3 personally. For everything else I would go with the A7IV 100%...
@@Jason_Hermann Thanks for this reply, and how much of the rolling shutter do you have during the shoot? I'm mainly going to make movies with short fragments, and usually with a tripod I think I should be able to make maximum use of the available light! which lens do you recommend for me to get first with this camera? I used to be a Nikon fanatic, and now even the more expensive lenses aren't worth much anymore.
Good point I forgot to mention, sorry... The rolling shutter is better on the FX30 also, but I normally don't mind it when I film stuff on my A74. It's rare it ever bothers me or is an issue. If your filming high speed moving subjects, it does matter though! As far as lenses go, that is tuff call. If you have no idea what focal length you want, I would go with a quality fast aperture zoom lens like a 24-70mm f/2.8 for example. Sigma and Sony both make them, or you could go for the f/4 version of that lens and save money size and weight...
Hi what ISO value do you suggest for an absolutely clear image with SLOG3, 640? Is the S-Cinetone profile ideal if you don't want to do a color gradient and want the film look? Which ISO value is the best there?

The Sony A7 IV is still the best overall option in my opinion and Sony has a really huge lens line up.

Yes, ISO 640 for Slog-3 and for S-Cinetone you can use pretty much any ISO, but still try and keep on the low side if possible.
