G idle has been around a lot longer they’re already half way through (for most girl groups 10 years is as long as they go) their career so I think they naturally feel like they’re on another level it’s way to hard too choose right now as every other group has made an amazing start but they still feel a bit fresh

My favorite is Le sserafim. Hope they will slowly over take the 4th gen. We don't believe in sudden successes because time makes them strong & perfect. They survived from a huge controversy, people thought they would disbanded with that but they didn't go down & stood up more stronger than ever with their 1st comeback. I like to see that this group over taking the kpop & proving that haters are not a thing for a group like them who believe in hard works.

Aespa has strong fan base❤ while NewJeans songs are widely loved by general Korean public dominating charts for long. I love new jeans song IVE is crazily popular among teens and younger gen. Le sserafim is strongly supported in Japan as well ❤G-Idle is so talented and comes up with constant good songs❤ We are so blessed by 4th Gen. My fav is IVE. I found they show more elegant side of K-pop + visuals OMG
I swear LE SSERAFIM will be so big in the future. Their pure and real love to each other, they're stage presence and their energy in stage are no joke, they're vocal, and the way they looked like all of them are main dancer when they perform. Their visual and songs are just bunos.
Especially - all 5 members are highly famous among all the fans of domestic & international. May be they are the only group that has this type fair distribution of popularity among all the members. And they have a true potential to destroy every stage they perform because technically they are so advance with engaging with the crowd. I don't know who taught them to perform & hype the crowd like that but yeah they are indeed talented asf!

Trained in America. His was a Pledis traine .performing arts high school.
Chaewon was a traine at woolin a sm sublabel.
Sakura has been a idol 12 years between Japan and Korea.
Kazuha was a ballerina.
Eunchae dancing trained. And performing arts high school.
I feel Aespa is the group with very hardcore big fandom who is also very much known among general public besides having unique concept, members talents and good music. Even though their last album didn't do well in charts compared to Savage or Next level era but still the members alone have still made impact on many ways. From their concert videos alone u could see their popularity scale.
I am actually waiting for new album bcs it's performance will decide whether they really lost charm or are still on top of game.

aespa, definitely the all rounder queens, no one is doing it like them, they can just go viral by simply appearing, 8 months since their last comeback and they are still very popular, u can tell from their concerts, they haven't still debuted in japan yet their crowd was so big, first its really hard to be their fan, it almost took me upto 5 months to be an official MY lol, and i love the girls so much, they are so sweet and humble plus hardworking, their concept is nothing easy to pull and not every group can do it, but still aespa are keeping up with this complex concept shows their hardwork💜💙

@Uzuzlas Me too! Let's hope it's good. So far Sneakers is the only Itzy song I didn't really like but after Loco their comebacks haven't been as great as they used to be. I wish they bring back their old glory soon. I'm also happily waiting for Aespa's next comeback because their songs never disappoint and it's been a very long time since Girls was released.

STAYC should have been on that list. Coming from a start up company, STAYC have been winning music shows and have been receiving awards and is recognized by prestigious award giving bodies. I loved all the other groups mentioned here but most of these groups came from big companies or companies that already produced successful groups in the past so fan base is not really an issue whenever they introduce a new group to the public. But when it comes to overall discography, consistency of quality music and the ability to perform it live on music shows and award shows, STAYC is top tier. Fromis_9, Everglow and Dreamcatcher wasn't even mentioned on the video when it fact these other groups overall discography are insanely good as well.
For real especially when nmixx haven’t had much success in their career thus far.

Well...They are a great vocal group, but I would say Nmixx ranks a bit higher. As for rap - not really. Soyeon definitely outshines all the other 4th gen female rappers combined. Dance isn't their strongest point either. They are not really known for producing or writing their songs. Soyeon from G idle is the one you can call a real writer/producer - she is basically a master mind behind pretty much all of G idle songs. Their concept is cool and unique, but not really my cup of tea. I'm not saying all of that to hate on the girls, don't get me wrong. But liking a certain group doesn't make them "the best", at least objectively speaking.

Nmixx has something really special and unique that catches you. For me, it is the most formed group of the fourth generation (although at first their songs did not attract me much but lately they are improving a lot), and right now it is my favorite group (please forgive me if I have any spelling mistakes I'm studying English, but I'm still not that good 😅)

If we are talking about recent popularity, its going to be NJ, Lesserafim & IVE.
Those with solid and bigger fandom would be Aespa, Itzy and Gidle. Still amaze how Aespa, in hiatus for almost 8 months still managed to pull out big crowd in their recent concert, in Japan as well despite not having an album release there.
I however am frustrated sometimes with kpop, especially with Knetz audiance where popularity with visuals are on top of vocals performance. This is why Nmixx is having hard time to break thru in Korea (i also blame JYP for not giving them a good song).
I also wish those who are on top improve their vocal quality. Without that catchy songs and good dance performance, they are really just mediocre in terms of vocals. But then this is kpop, vocals seem to come second after dance performance.
Just gonna say Purple Kiss because they're not very popular but they make very great music. Have you heard of Sweet Juice? If you're into good vocals or classical instruments then give this song a good listen.

I have songs of each gen 4 gg mentioned in my playlist. My taste would vary depending on my mood. But based on skills set, nmixx is on top, aespa couldve but not all members of easpa are well rounded. Nmixx have super talented members, they only lack the stage presence to keep unsuspecting viewer or listener's attention riveted to them. And also song choices. Maybe bcoz all members are talented that it's hard to find w/c song wd suit them as a harmonious grp. As beautiful their vocals are, spmetimes the song arrangement keep their tones overlapping making it hard to listen at first bcoz of the noise. Even the adlibs are good bt sometimes unarranged properly.
