I'm so glad I found you Bill. Awesome to have an Aussie helping us Aussies so products etc we can get and follow rules. I am ATM renovating my home to sell after 24 years so have a bit of wear n tear to fix. One problem I have is on the corners of walls is metal and showing in quite a few places. How do I fix this. Would love a video showing me how. I have been binge watching your videos for many hours. lol.. Time for sleep. 12.30 am here in Adelaide. :)

Great video! I'm currently repainting the doors and trim in my house, and now know how to remove the cavity doors to respray them.

Thanks Bill. Your videos help a lot. Might be helpful if you could provide name of the replacement products such as roller in this video as well in future.

Lovely job as always Bill. You are so right that type of spanner makes life so much easier. I did this task about 10 years ago without one and had to improvise with a pair of needle nose pliers. Let's just say it was a total fiddle and made me curse more than a little. Cheers and please keep them coming :-)

Gotta look through all your older videos and see if you have one about installing a lock on a sliding cavity door. I had some put on my house during the build to save the space taken up by a normal door swinging in the WIR, Ensuite and my SOHO. Now I'm retired I want the old office to become an extra guest bedroom and I need to put a lock on it for privacy. Haven't found a video on UA-cam about how to do it yet. Can't remember if I have previously searched your library yet or not.
When the clowns cut the filler panels to length the ends had so much tear out they had to put a filler over them to try and unsuccessfully hide the tear out but did a real rubbish job of it. I was thinking about fixing that up because it annoys me every time I go for a pee (retired so that happens a lot now 😲🤦‍♂😁)
*Thank You* for the video Bill. 👍

Lol, unfortunately I don’t have a video on installing a lock for a sliding door. Most of them are pretty simple to do. I will add it to my list of videos to make👍

I found a door jack to just slightly lift the door helps with getting those adjustable screws back in Bill.
You’re right on about the spaner too.
If you have any spare send them my way 😂

Hi Bill, Thanks so much for this. However, I've got a sliding door which was tilted and I was able to get it to close evenly by following instructions from your other video on sliding doors. But now I've got a new problem that the door gets stuck midway. Not sure how to go about this. Any ideas?

Appreciate your video, been looking for such guidance with my Hume cavity door. Is there a somewhere I can purchase such spanners or do you know what size mm it is? Also, the other problem I'm faced with that can't access the top locking nut, its hidden from sight, is there a way around this?

How do you adjust the sliding door if the surface of the door slowly scraps the trim/border? Like the rail goes slightly off over time and needs adjusting. How do you do that?

Lucky bugger - no filler panel on the door I’d like to swap out. I’d have no choice but to remove top of the frame.

Plus, what I would do so the door dose Not end up in the wall is put two nipples on the top & bottom of the door so it will be even .because to me with those things for the bottom of stuff is at the top of the door is what put the gap at the top so there for put one nipped at the top and one at the bottom .
