- Harvesting and curing garlic can be pretty simple! I don't know about you, but I double the amount of garlic I use in every recipe and garlic is NOT cheap, and considering how easy it is to grow it's totally worth planting garlic in your garden this fall to save your budget for other things you maybe can't grow (like the 12 chocolate bars I need every month 😅) Do you grow your own garlic?

My first go at growing Garlic. Average temps here on the coast in cronulla during winter are 8-19 deg C ( 46-67 F ).
Have bulk shoots now 6 inches tall.
My family is Polish, and my grandad used to grow garlic.
He ate a whole head every day like an Apple. Unpeeled…yes I know…. And his breath could kill Vampires at 30ft 😐
I always eat a clove if I’m feeling under the weather but I don’t think I could do a whole bulb 😂

Reminds me of my first time in Gilroy, CA. The whole town smells like Garlic. Is it true it last longer when braided???
Soft neck garlic lasts longer than hard neck as I said in the vid, and since that’s the one that is braided I think that’s where that comes from. But braiding itself isn’t a method that extends storage.
