WINGER keeps saying BEAVIS & BUTT-HEAD ruined their career. Why? Because Stewart wore a WINGER T-shirt? Look, they say that the band's career was really taking off and they were set go on tour--but because of a couple of episodes where the bullied kid was wearing that shirt--“Absolutely, it did, hugely. As a matter of fact, we were on the road and we were selling out theaters. We were on the bus, and this kid said, ‘Hey, you guys got to see this cartoon. I brought you a VHS of it.' “And so we put this thing on the bus… In the cartoon, they hung this kid from his underwear from a tree. He was wearing a Winger t-shirt, and he was overweight… His name was Stuart, and he was in every episode. And then they went to his house, and his parents were wearing Winger t-shirts, and the dog was wearing a WINGER t-shirt, and they were all nerds [laughs]. And so, we actually saw a direct result of that thing. In the weeks that followed, we had to cancel the tour because people wouldn’t be caught dead buying a ticket to a Winger show.” You can't tell me things were going that well just because the "dorky family" was wearing a WINGER T-shirt. I had the hugest crush on Kip Winger back in the day he reminded me of a guy that I met in Myrtle Beach in 1990. He probably doesn't have the good looks like he did back then.But Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue he is a very nice looking guy.

They were great at their job, but band of that time & still, have songs that sound like homages to Zeppelin and Zeppelin derivative bands. It's not a crime, it's just sometimes more obvious than others.
It’s funny how they are all cocky and obnoxious in the interview and that within a few months, most of their fans dropped Winger like a hot potato for Seattle.
And in the end grunge lasted all of 2-3 years and disappeared forever 😂meanwhile winger is releasing another new album in May still going strong all these years later ! These guys are killer musicians always have been got a bad rap for no reason
