Is it ok to have 2 cup of jaggery for 1 cup of rice. Will it not be a little too much that it would be difficult to take it out in such share whole cooking. Please clarify as I am a little doubt full of the message of jaggery for rice. Is it 1: 2 or 1: 1. Otherwise I have no other doubts.

Hello Mami, I am a frequent visitor of all your recipes..this gokulashtami I tried making neiappam..I used pacharisi for making it. The ratio I took was 1:2. For one cup pacharisi 2 cups jaggery.. Ghee and sesame oil for frying it But the appams got stuck when I poured in the karai.. I guess we have to add only about 1 - 1.5 cup of jaggery for 1 cup pacharisi. I am not sure whether the ratio is based on the type of pacharisi too. Can u pls let me know.
