    Cavernous Amma: You remind me of my Amma. She knew so many recipes stored simply in her head and memory and would make all the items in your show.
    Our women of earlier generations were so skillful and sharp and intelligent not only to create the recipes for these delicacies, but also to transfer the techniques and the technology to their younger generation.
    I am truly amazed at their patience and skills.
    Thanks for you and Vidya for recording these recipes for the future generations.

      Two glass rice powder
      One big spoon roasted ulud dal powder
      One spoon roasted Bengal gram powder
      two heaped spoon heated cooled fine powder mung dal powder
      Two heaped spoon heated cooled fine powdered chanadal dal powder
      Add pepper powder half spoon
      Add jeera one spoon
      Optional red chilly powder half spoon
      Add either unsalted white butter or heated oil two big spoon
      Add hing powder qtr spoon
      Add salt
      Add water mix dough to loose chapati consistency use the star dye n mould
