Who do you think we'll see on the podium this year?
On the Thor vs. Giants Live issue:
As far as I'm aware, after the boxing match of Eddie and Thor, everyone involved has stated that the issues have been squashed and no bad blood remains.
But Thor chooses not to work with Giants Live again.
How I intrepid that is they are no longer enemies, but they ain't friends either.
Colin Bryce and his corrupt WSM/ Giants Live continue to do their corrupt business. For example, Luke Stoltman admitting that him and Tom get favorable treatment (meaning your placed in heats that you will make it to the finals - athletes in the group and event selection catered to Luke and Tom and then events in the finals catered to them as well - same thing clearly done to get Eddie his 2017 by 1 point). Nothing is in the past - the corruption continues; however, without Thor WSM is now a 4th rate (at best) contest. Funny how Karma comes around.
What if theres no truck drag, because theyre keeping in mind of trey mitchells recovery. That would be really thoughtful.
Hooper .Stoltman.Ragg
Yeah first 2 right either ragg or even in 3ed
I don't think Evan can pull it together for 3rd. He's too wreckless.
@Eparker09 5th last year with better line up on paper he should get 3ed I'll be there in person I got tickets for final
@@jameschristy9966 I like your reasoning and I hope he proves me wrong.
Solid list! WSM gets going here soon! Stay tuned to our leaderboard page on barbend for all the latest developments 💪
My top 5: T.Stoltman, Hooper, L.Stoltman, Matt Ragg, T Rex.
I think Luke Stoltman can win a heat this year and get into the final without doing the stone-off. That gives him a shot at the podium in my view.
Thanks for the comment and your prediction callouts! We can't wait to see how the podium shakes out this year 💪
1st Tom Stoltman
2nd Mitch Hooper
3rd Evan Singleton
4th Mathew Ragg
5th Luke Stoltman
Solid list! We are gearing up for our coverage so stay tuned!
WSM is a 4th rate contest now. I predict that, within 5 years, it will be a distant memory. Without Thor, no one gives a fk about WSM (or any other contest he is not in).
I mean, regardless of the style and problems of the competition it still is the premier strongman competition. Yes, we as fans can agree that some of the other shows are better but this is still the top competition everyone wants to win. I don't see it fizzling out that easily in the next 5 years like you said simply because of the prestige the title itself holds.
Also Thor hadn't been at World's or a strongman since 2019 till his recent comeback. While he is an amazing strongman and athlete and his comeback was exciting, you can argue that within that time the sport has gotten a whole lot bigger and its audience is ever-expanding (all without Thor).
