    When wet it was by far the best pour painting Ive ever seen, but it lost most of that when it dried, but its still nice & better than half the poured paintings ive seen. THANKS HEAPS for doing that !!!

    OMG! Jessica, this piece is phenomenal. I know your cells, changed shape, however if you look closely, they appear to be opalescent.
    I hope you decide to experiment and play with this technique more, as I am eager to learn and see, what new style you create. Stunning 😍♥️💐💐💐

    That's a really cool experiment, especially knowing the concept of open cup pours and how vastly different it is from the objective of blooming. I think perhaps, lift the cup straight up next time, no wiggles or drags, then swipe a pallet knife across the ca. It still may not work but it stands a better chance without pulling pillow paint over the colors. I gotta try thus now! Uh, we'll, when I'm able to get my bloom paints to work right again. Stupid desert weather 😢

    And if you want to be able to get Vail s of paint then get pillow paint that's base one or base two don't mix anything into it. I accidentally got base one and it still mostly shows up white except I get those really cool veils like you have in this.

  • @sherichisholm39
    @sherichisholm39 3 дні тому

    Wow, OK this is gonna be fun. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you do one of those but yet again I did not follow you when you first started.

  • @death057
    @death057 3 дні тому

    I have used the Bloom recipe in an open cup but I didn't use pillow paint. Well a teeny bit of pillow paint but I actually put the cell activator down on the outside of the cup then all the colors went down inside the cup with some cell activator at the bottom You pour it from higher up and it forces down and out which it will make cells kind of like how it's underneath the surface of your pillow paint instead the cell activator gets the paint pushed up through it it's interesting You should try it again with cell activator under the cup and especially the most important part is on the outside of the cup. You may want to thin the paint just a teeny bit just a little bit. I swear it will work kind of like Karen's flip cup. She puts the cell activator at the bottom of the cup You don't need the pillow paint. Pick a base color then put your cell activator over it.

    I even wonder what would happen if there was three layers and CA then three more layers and CA

    • @blenkihops7631
      @blenkihops7631 4 дні тому

      I would guess that the CA between the layers will not really "activate"/ cause cells. Because the CA has to be stretched to work. Also the layer normal paint above it will prevent it from ripping apart.
      But you could try swipe over an already swiped swipe. Or something like that.
