I have a hearing impairment (auditory processing disorder) and though I've gotten familiar enough with their voices that I can understand them better, sometimes I just can't make out what they're saying and the subtitles are so helpful!
I love how previously Ashley's character was a barbarian who everyone found intimidating but was very sweet and now she's playing a character who looks sweet but is actually extremely chaotic.
Yasha: Looks like they could kill you, is a cinnamon roll Fearne: Looks like a cinnamon roll, could kill you Pike: Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll Presumably her C4 character will therefore be looks like they could kill you, could kill you
In one game of the oxventurers (on OutsideXBox and OutsideXtra), they ended up fighting possessed furniture made from an evil tree in a forest they had previously visited. I thought at the time, "Love this, and there is no way Critical Role would ever do this" Oh, how little 2019 Brent did know....thought then again, there was the honey heist, and the nightmare before Critmas....but also, I didn't know about those then, so....have I Riegeled this reply yet? Or at least Ashleyed it?
The duality of being part of the catchup crew, never having to wait for the next episode but also never have a chance to get all the previous merch. Like Sisyphus, I am bound to hell
I'm convinced the crew must have then exiled him into another room or something, I didn't here him cheering like a wild football fan at the first RAGE of the campaign
@@hhylobates4098 talisen did not say "i would like to rage." Thats why travis loses it its the trigger for it. I think ya gotta say eldertich blast in a southern/western accent for fjord to trigger.
Tal's C1 character, always had money Tal's C2 characters, had no use for money unless it was to make someone smile Tal's C2 character, money is of great importance!
@@quendi5557 pfft imagine not knowing Electrum is an alloy of equal parts silver and gold! Well, at least it is in D&D. Strangely enough, most people have heard of white gold before and somehow accept that at face value....
I like that each campaign kind of has their own color palettes. C1 was lots of dark muted colors a la any movie set in medieval times, C2 was jewel tones mostly seen in skin colors (fjords emerald green, jesters sapphire, molly's royal purple), and C3 seems to be going towards pastels in addition to an already very strong aesthetic, i'm so excited!!!
The face of Marisha tells everything every time Matt uses another lightning mode of the set. So well earned and proud of her project! I mean, the set is simply amazing and the way they use it seem to be so smooth!
So before we had: - Grog with Travis´obsession with werewolfs - Fjord with Travis´cat allergy and now we got - Bertrand with Travis tendency to zone out or sleep in long conversations
@@mrbfox1775 This. I'm hoping Travis Actually gets to play as a werewolf, and this character gives me vibes it may be in the works? Bah, wishful hoping I guess.
Yeah but the level difference leads me to believe that either travis (or bertrand) will leave the show for a time or Bertrand is just a fancy NPC before Travis' real character shows up. I mean Bertrand was also a disposable in Search for Grog
@@leewolffe7050 but he didn’t. he can genuinely say he survived pandemonium. He might be a better politician than adventurer able to not almost die in pandemonium.
Similarly, Sam said in the set reveal that he didn't mind who he sat next to because, as he said: Its fine, I wear deodorant. Fearne upon meeting FCG: "you smell like pee."
I can tell already that Laudna in general is going to be one of the most hilarious parts of this campaign. Marisha is proving to be an endless fount of classic horror tropes and she puts her excellent comedic timing on full display. I'm really looking forward to seeing where she goes as a character.
@@whitestoneandy797 I'm sure it'll start out that way, and then 50 sessions later we learn the horrible tragic backstories these brilliant motherfuckers have been subtly foreshadowing the whole time. Mark my words, Fresh Cut Grass is gunna make me cry my eyes out at least once.
@@shrubninja6444 Honestly the way FCG has already talked about their past and creation... there's some seriously dark shit in there that FCG simply lacks the emotion to understand.
See y’all in about 3 years when the campaign’s over and we’ll come back to these comments to cry… We’ll remember the simpler times, the secrets yet to be revealed, the events yet to unfolded. Here’s to a new group of characters to meet and fall in love with, and the story of our new favorite unnamed adventuring party
Hey guys. Here from 2024. Man. This brings me back. Its been hell of a ride. Especially when that one character died. Oof. No spoilers on who or when though. 🤫
My favorite thing so far is that Taliesin went from Caduceus, who said maybe 10 cuss words total, to Ashton, has cussed more than that in the first ten minutes of his introduction.
Well, Percy and Molly swore a lot, that's just the type of characters Taliesin prefers. He likes that brutal friendship. I was surprised when Cad was a mellow natural kind-of-guy. But Taliesin might've been preparing that character for a while and really built on it, and wanted to respect the character. Actually, now that I think about it, Percy didn't swear as much later in the campaign. I think that's just how Taliesin improvises when he's unsure how he wants his character to act 😂
We went from mysterious vibrant Molly to chill wise Caduceus and now....its a literal earth punk who is a "bad boy" vibe yet somehow also that cool drummer type?
It´s been two weeks since I finished M9. Almost felt like a grieving period of some kind, watching a bunch of fan edits and "best of"´s and just...being nostalgic. Now I´m ready to start catching up on Campaign 3. I feel like it´s gonna be yet another wild ride.
I'm right there with you. I'm still in the story grieving process, I guess, because I'm already irritated at Imogen and Orym for not being Jester or Caleb. *sigh* give me time.
It's Marisha (Laudna). Her accent is described as Midatlantic by the Captions, which was sort of a fake stage accent that wasn't natural but rich people and actors, especially in the south would use it to seem fancy. Laudna kinda has a voodoo bayou vibe too.
To be fair "I saw, it was pretty so I took it" is a fair reaction for a fey. They're real into "I wanted to do it so I did it" and I can see why Fearne would be real confused about why it's bad.
The funniest part about Sam's "Good Smells" joke is 1.) He is a robot with no concept of the innuedo he made regarding his comrades name 2.) Knowing Sam he is talking about a cat
Cats can smell amazing, in the right circumstances. When I first adopted my girl as a kitten, she definitely had a "baby" smell to her. Especially her fat little tummy. :3 One of the best smells.
Love how when Marisa and Lauren are asked to stay while everyone else leaves, people leave a couple things behind while Travis just snatches everything he owns like he took it personally 😂
Oh yes, Marisa and Lauren, my favourite CR actors, second only to Lettucein and Ashlyn. Of course, I can't dowplay the roles of Lemmy O'Brian and Stan Riegel, as well as Trevor Willingham. 😂
I adore how when Matt got the first map out, everyone reached forward to touch it. It was the sweetest thing. I missed seeing them all be together for real again
@@coreworldbazti1561 i think because she played more in campaign 2 so is more comfortable at the table plus probably had more time to work on it without blind spot being a thing
10:54 I love how Laura came close to hitting Liam in the face and he instantly went through Marisha war flashbacks, the journey through his facial expressions 😂
I’ve just realised that once again, Taliesin has created another character whose Mini will be a nightmare to paint due to that left side that was described.
i'm betting on lot of people learning how to make sillicon prostetics creating a full head cap with tony stark style "hole" covered by a shiny layer to pull this off
Man, it’s so surreal seeing CR promoting Dingo Doodles and Fool’s Gold! It’s because of the Fool’s Gold animations that a whole collection of Mighty Nein animatics came into my feed, so I have that series to thank for helping me become a Critter! So wholesome to see these two creative works combined. ☺️
my way to them was similar. it first started with those robot reddit stories that led to dnd stories which led to dnd animations then from there I found cr my first introduction was grog and tarys shopping going wrong with dotty
All of them play their flaws so well. Gotta say, I think what makes them brilliant D&D players is their flaws don't feel tacky, they feel human... or humanoid.
I know Matt is a proffesional voice actor and all that jazz. But god damn that range tho. This man can convincingly go from hulking ogre straight to a kind old lady
Can I just say... Ashley is absolutely killing it with Fearne! She has become noticeably more comfortable with RPing, it's so great to see all the callbacks she's doing to earlier parts of the game.
She did excellent in playing such an alien character in exu, but I admit I was a bit put off seeing her appear in the main campaign; she just seemed a bit too "off with the fairies" as they say, like she was averse to making connections and actually caring about material world people and their troubles. BUT I can already see a change in how she's played, visibly more vibrant and interactive 🌼🌸🌺 And a story similar to Artagans of a fae creature learning new emotions from what theyre used to would be interesting.
@@hhylobates4098 I'm rather glad I didn't get around to ExU yet, no worry of previous perceptions of a character that we're probably going to see much much more of than you would have in ExU.
I watched this live as my first real DND show. It took me a few episodes to realize that I was missing some reference to the first 2 campaigns, so I stopped and watched those first. Almost 2 years later I'm back and realizing there is WAY more than I was aware of! I know I'm really behind, but the wait was worth it!
I salute you! I know a lot of new people do jump in here and seem to enjoy themselves, which is great, but oh wow, you are going to get a LOT out of having that background as this campaign goes on. Shit gets crazy, is all I'm gonna say.
Thanks for mentioning this, I’ve only watched 30 min of this and I’m loving it so far, but was wondering if I should catch up on the old ones first. I’ll do them in order
Since this is all Matt’s own written setting, the campaigns tie together well. 1 is set in Tal Dorei and gets referenced a lot in 2. 2 is set in Wildemount and has a TON of important info for 3, set in Marquette.
Starting at 2:51:20, the way that joke Sam made spread slowly like a plague across the entire table until they were all losing their minds is truly the best part of my entire week.
Funny thing is Barbarians actually tend to bite the dust the most often givin how they usually are the ones drawing agro. Honestly if he wanted to play a class the simply WILL NOT FUCKING DIE...moon druid is the best by alot.
Spoilers I find it ironic that Yasha is one of the three player characters who hasn’t died. (Beau and Taryon being the other two). One of the features of her subclass is being easy, or at least cheap, to resurrect.
I love how, based on their attitude and backstory we've got so far, when Ashton found FCG in that mine they thought "I've only had Fresh Cut Grass for a day and a half, and if anything happened to them, I would kill everybody in this room and then myself." Lol
I don't play or even know much about D&D, but after seeing multiple funny clips and YT shorts from their sessions, I thought I'd check it out. This was the first time ever see a proper D&D game, and it was so fun I watched the entire 4 hours in one sitting lol. I don't know if most D&D games are like this, or if it's just because they're all good actors and can really get in character and immerse us viewers with them, but I could really picture every "scene" in my head and it almost felt like watching an epic adventure movie or reading a good fantasy novel. I also love that they don't take themselves too seriously, there are so many funny moments, it's great. Ashley's character is probably my favourite, I can't quite tell if she's being sarcastic and chaotic, or if she's playing a kind of sweet and innocent character that genuinely means what she says, but it's adorable and funny and absolutely love it.
Most games aren't. CR is kind of notorious to some for setting unrealistic expectations of D&D. They have an amazing DM, trained actors, people who can do voices and sound effects, years of experience with the game, and a desire for storytelling and roleplay.
scrolled all the way to find someone who did that as well. i replayed it once for every person’s individual reactions and it was time so well spent. this is my first critical role experience and i’m obsessed!!
Well depends. If he starts by describing the person, yes. If he starts by describing the ambiance and scenery surrounding the circumstance, the offender would be in another country by the time the police can even start looking haha
@@evankrys2409 what you see in front of you is a piece of bread, but interestingly enough it's not just bread as you look closer you see bits of purple red on the bread, you realize it's probably some sort of a jam, your eyes then focus on the yellowish brown that sits on top of the jam, after investigating you think z this is probably Peanut Butter... @@equinoxxed_7502You notice the bread is a little grainy, although unsure of the type of bread. The slices are evenly sliced as it seems, maybe a few millimeters off from each other. The jam has exactly 8 strawberries on the slice, and the peanut butter came from a beautiful farm in Nebraska.
With the recent announcement of a Mighty Nein animated series, I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS TO BE ANIMATED!!! Edit- especially bc that would mean more Robbie 😢😅
Welcome! While all the campaigns (and oneshots!) are great, I feel like this time around they've really outdone themselves with how quickly and fully they all embody characters and therefore get us attached to them. Which makes this an excellent place to start for new Critters, even if some references to previous world history/campaign events may be confusing at first.
OH you're going to have an amazing time with the second Campaign. There's a lot of "protect at all cost" energy with the characters! Also C2 has an amazing group dynamic. (Heads up: You *will* cry.)
"Catch up crew. Here I stand at the finale of the catch up journey. With C1, C2, many one shots and mini-series, I have arrived at long last to the current campaign. The latest episode on YT as of this post is EP60. Let's see how long will it take." Also, this first episode was just great. I sure read a lot of doom posting about C3 and it felt like half of the vocal fandom didn't like that much. But I feel like I'm going to be the other part that loves it! Campaign 3, here I come!
The same was true for C2 back in the day. Every campaign has different vibes, and a lot of people don't like change. Of course it's perfectly okay to have different favorites or prefer older content, but the very predictable, recurring complaints of "oh noes CR used to be good and now it's shit" is a pretty immature take. They're creative storytellers, of course they're going to evolve and try new things. I'd be disappointed if they didn't! And I try to hold on that attitude even when any one particular offering might not land exactly perfectly for ME, personally. (I've been really enjoying C3, FWIW - some arcs more than others, but that goes for the other campaigns too...)
I'm starting with 76 episodes to go... 😅 Btw, I've heard so many negative comments about C3 too but for me, this is such a much more interesting start than C2! I never really truly got invested in C2, it took me at least 50 episodes before I liked most characters other than Jester and Nott. But I'm loving all of these people already. This is gonna be fun!
here I am and 77 just aired, started in February and I so wanted to catch up to be able to participate on the fandom without fears of spoilers, but now I don wannaaaaa
I am absolutely and unironically here for Old Man Willingham. He's hilarious as the slightly senile aging fighter. I know he's probably not long for the campaign, but part of me wishes he will go the distance. As long as he gets plenty of naps
Oh I'm hoping we get an episode where Aimee shows up to play Opal, and Matt looks at the camera and says "we have another guest tonight..." And then gets up, out comes Aabria to helm behind the DM screen, and Matt sits down at the table to play Dariax with the whole crew!
@@MarkZeroGaming this would be good in theory but I'm assuming that Aabria would have to still take the story in a way that Matt planned for? so maybe it would have to be a very railroaded episode? Also if thats the case maybe there wont be many surprises for Matt as a character? i'm probably wrong
That's when their arc begins. FCG will eventually sacrifice themselves to absorb damage from an ally. Then we get the soul arc and find out what Matt has planned to ressurect a robot.
Its crazy to think that 11 months ago I had only heard of d and d in passing and knew absolutely nothing about it in terms of playing it. Now I've binged Campaign 1,2 and Exu and here I am beginning hells bells. I have such a new found love and appreciation for this game and art form/story telling and while I've yet to play a game myself (need friends for that 😆) i just want to say thanks to the CR team for introducing me to this amazing thing.
Me at the end of every CR campaign: No way I will ever be as emotionally invested in a group as this one. Me 10 minutes into every new CR campaign: I need to know everything about these people.
I'll admit, this is the very first time that I absolutely love EVERYONE right off the bat. Some characters I never got into, some had to grow on me, but holy cow, EVERY SINGLE ONE is one that I'm deeply invested in already. I love it so much.
Never bought into any of the C2 characters outside of Knott and maybe Jester. Everything about C2 was too much trying too hard. Seemed too set on being the grandest thing ever. I'm am hour into this C3 E1 and it's showing all the same signs. Not saying any of it's bad per se, just that after C1 blew them up, some bit of the modest & genuine seems to have been sacrificed
@@mattott4274 I see what you're saying but you gotta understand how many hours they're spending as these characters. I think they're being loud/over the top/etc to help them from getting bored.
I love how Laura's character is introduced as this shy woman who seems utterly terrified at the prospect that someone might suspect she's slightly modest.... and then *Marisha introduces a character who is unapologetically walking cackling death pacted to some unholy entity.*
Well Matt had to look up the lifespan of crabgrass and let’s just say… it would most likely be the descendants of Henry (by a lot of generations) if that theory is true.
i literally can't decide which character i like the most.. holy shit they're all so interesting !!! -Sam "Claptrap" Riegel - amazing as always, cracks me up nonstop -Marisha "deville" ray - scary and mysterious and misunderstood?? -talisien "as a barbarian i cant possibly die a 3rd time" jaffe -travis "avoid romance by playing an old geezer" willingham -laura "i wont dnd last campaign and im just vibing" bailey -robbie "i was so amazing in Exu, they let me join" daymond (i love his aura so much) -liam "wait until you hear my whole family died" obrien (love the calm and concerned character) -ashley "let chaos reign" johnson i cant wait to see how this goes.
I'm still wondering if liam is gonna pull the 180 and made orym just normal (if not a bit closed off) person, or if he's going for the hat trick of extremely tragic characters.
I’m 53 episodes into this campaign now but had to come back to this episode to feel the absolute glee that was this first combat. Loving these characters WAY too much 🥰
@@haydenbunn1242 most groups will have slightly less members than CR but this is a pretty standard mix of characters. Different classes, backgrounds, hometowns and an overall chaotic vibe in getting forced together by circumstance. It’s a pretty classic beginning to what will become an inseparable adventuring party!
YES. lol. I was looking for this comment. He removed himself from the equation.... or so he thinks. Maybe someone in the group is really in to silver foxes.
I never realised just how much of a natural comedian Travis is until this episode. He consistently had me weeping with laughter. The facial expressions are too much. Amazing first episode.
Have you watched C1? He had some of the best comical moments seamlessly pulling off Grog's lack of intelligence. This old man character is another iteration of that and I'm so glad he found a way to bring it back.
@Colin Deal I don't think he will be a member of the main campaign. I agree with you that he's clearly a temporary character. He probably plan to either play a bunch of guest character throughout the campaign or THIS a is character and other people will replace him at point. Travis is, after all, one of the most busy member of the cast with the critical role venture growing bigger and bigger. If he wants to take a break and let Robbie have a place in the spotlight it's perfectly understandable.
32:18 Calling it now: Matt made every member of the Chandae Quorum anonymous JUST to kill the Tal'Dorei Council meme. Nobody can convince me otherwise.

My favorite thing so far is that Taliesin went from Caduceus, who said maybe 10 cuss words total, to Ashton, has cussed more than that in the first ten minutes of his introduction.
Charisma dump stat says F@#*!

I see the crew was so upset by Fjord's Southern Accent being fake they made 3 separate characters with southern accents in protest.
3? Who's the third?
@@TheElkMaidenn I think Liam's, Laura's and Sam's are the ones.
It's only Sam and Laura, Liam's character doesn't have a southern drawl
It kinda felt like an unnecessary twist when I learned that. Travis is from Texas, he didn't even need to fake it.

English being my second language, I also find it very helpful!

Ive replayed 2:24:22 at least nine times already and it gets every time. Highly Recommend for Sam shenanigans if you're having a bad day.
scrolled all the way to find someone who did that as well. i replayed it once for every person’s individual reactions and it was time so well spent. this is my first critical role experience and i’m obsessed!!
I just love how Travis always manages to blend his distractible nature into every one of his characters in a creative and believable way.
The fact that opening night had a high of 303k viewers on Twitch and UA-cam, not including theaters, is really amazing
It was 330K and some 80K on youtube, that was the real high, which is pretty darn insane.
It was in theaters?
Yep, they had a deal with Cinemark i believe, to air the 1st episode
@@PinkFroggers yep, was there meself. Critters are lovely people IRL
@@tobiasL1991 it was about 90 k til the exu characters showed up then dropped 5 k n more slowly after...but I'm happy to see more of Fearrne.
Matt would be a dream eye witness in a police investigation. Who ever he was describing would be caught before he was finished.
I never thought of it that way but you have a point
Well depends. If he starts by describing the person, yes. If he starts by describing the ambiance and scenery surrounding the circumstance, the offender would be in another country by the time the police can even start looking haha

So now in front of you is a fully finished Peanut Butter Jelly sandwich...
Probably be a few years for that one. Balls in your court Amazon!
This is my first time watching any Critical Role, I'm 50 minutes in, and I would already die for Fresh Cut Grass
Welcome!
While all the campaigns (and oneshots!) are great, I feel like this time around they've really outdone themselves with how quickly and fully they all embody characters and therefore get us attached to them. Which makes this an excellent place to start for new Critters, even if some references to previous world history/campaign events may be confusing at first.
Congratulations! Hand your coat, your keys and your free time in at the door, it's locked behind you, and there is no escape.
ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
OH you're going to have an amazing time with the second Campaign. There's a lot of "protect at all cost" energy with the characters! Also C2 has an amazing group dynamic. (Heads up: You *will* cry.)
Sam has that effect.
I kinda hope the earring becomes a running gag between Fearne and Ashton. not like, every episode, but every now and then.
i really hope they steal it back and forth
Some absolute zinger moments already, but under rated was Bertrand literally falling asleep while talking. Classic old timer move and just hilarious.
yes! i love that old pretending bastard so much!
Another underrated moment was Robbie's "VERY little time👀" to Bertrand hahaha no one caught it but i was dying
😆
I've gotta say, I'm really liking Bertrand
What level was he in search for grog? Did he lose levels over the years?
"Catch up crew. Here I stand at the finale of the catch up journey.
With C1, C2, many one shots and mini-series, I have arrived at long last to the current campaign. The latest episode on YT as of this post is EP60. Let's see how long will it take."
Also, this first episode was just great.
I'm still trying to figure out if there was closure on the whole missing tittyrack megi thing.
I'm coming into this with 72 episodes to go. It's gonna suck having to wait a week each week.
His 'late evening' conversation with Orym was hilarious!
Changeling I bet
@@parcelfam2877 oh I hadn’t even thought about that possibility!
I 1000% think he’s gonna be evil and I’m so excited to see it if I’m right
The fact that Bertrand is level 5 and everyone else is level 3 makes me think he will only be around for a couple episodes
The fact that the EXU participants showed up must have thrown off a lot of bingo lists. That being said, this also means Dariax may return as NPC.
i didn't even consider this as a possibility! hope so!
Oh I'm hoping we get an episode where Aimee shows up to play Opal, and Matt looks at the camera and says "we have another guest tonight..." And then gets up, out comes Aabria to helm behind the DM screen, and Matt sits down at the table to play Dariax with the whole crew!
NEED
@@MarkZeroGaming this would be good in theory but I'm assuming that Aabria would have to still take the story in a way that Matt planned for? so maybe it would have to be a very railroaded episode? Also if thats the case maybe there wont be many surprises for Matt as a character? i'm probably wrong
@@MarkZeroGaming If Aabria helms the DM screen for CR im jumping out the window. Hell no.
I swear if FCG's arc ends with "Does this unit have a soul?" Gurgling emotional sounds
I'm just praying Dancer isn't a reindeer.
@@raymonholt69 Heh. If they time the campaign to meet Dancer in December I will chuckle a bit.
That's when their arc begins. FCG will eventually sacrifice themselves to absorb damage from an ally. Then we get the soul arc and find out what Matt has planned to ressurect a robot.
hearing sam yell "I'M A REAL BOY" is going to be everything
Keelah se'lai my friend
Its crazy to think that 11 months ago I had only heard of d and d in passing and knew absolutely nothing about it in terms of playing it. Now I've binged Campaign 1,2 and Exu and here I am beginning hells bells.
I have such a new found love and appreciation for this game and art form/story telling and while I've yet to play a game myself (need friends for that 😆) i just want to say thanks to the CR team for introducing me to this amazing thing.
Me at the end of every CR campaign: No way I will ever be as emotionally invested in a group as this one.
Me 10 minutes into every new CR campaign: I need to know everything about these people.
it's cause all these lovely player just draw you in no matter what
laura especially
@@Axeloy ... is this Travis' alt acct?

That clap-back was instant. Ashley being classy as always!
Same thing happened when Nott met Pumat Sol for the first time
That voice is so calm saying stuff like “we’re gonna crash” is both awesome and strange at the same time…
Ashley’s comedic timing really shines with a PC as whimsical as Ferne
I wonder if FCG is just Henry crabgrass with an automaton built around him
This is the most underrated comment here. Brilliant
Well Matt had to look up the lifespan of crabgrass and let’s just say… it would most likely be the descendants of Henry (by a lot of generations) if that theory is true.
Oh my god
That's the fucking twist of the character. FCG's first death is gonna reveal a little pot of crabgrass at the heart of the automaton🤣

I'm still wondering if liam is gonna pull the 180 and made orym just normal (if not a bit closed off) person, or if he's going for the hat trick of extremely tragic characters.
Tal already died on three characters. Percy died twice, Cad once, and Molly was perma dead until the whole Lucien thing came around.

Robbie seemed like a perfect fit for the group. I’m very happy about this decision of theirs.
@@DNorseMan95 im sorry to say hes still marked as a guest appearance, so this will be temporary :/
I’m 53 episodes into this campaign now but had to come back to this episode to feel the absolute glee that was this first combat. Loving these characters WAY too much 🥰
Hey I’m fairly new to the game is this group accurate to what would happen?
@@haydenbunn1242 most groups will have slightly less members than CR but this is a pretty standard mix of characters. Different classes, backgrounds, hometowns and an overall chaotic vibe in getting forced together by circumstance. It’s a pretty classic beginning to what will become an inseparable adventuring party!
Travis straight up said "Laura can't make me do a romance this season if I make myself as old as Chutney."

One of Liam's character has romanced Bertram Bell before, he can do it again 😂
To be fair, Imogen has tentacles in her brain, so she might not be set on romance this season either.
I never realised just how much of a natural comedian Travis is until this episode. He consistently had me weeping with laughter. The facial expressions are too much. Amazing first episode.
Check out The Night Before Critmas one-shot, and meet Travis' Chutney.
Have you watched C1? He had some of the best comical moments seamlessly pulling off Grog's lack of intelligence. This old man character is another iteration of that and I'm so glad he found a way to bring it back.
Agree, Travis is hilarious!
Watch him, Talesin, Matt and Liam play Dungeon Mayhem, absolute gold!!!
