I knew he was a BIG BASS! A Tank of a BASS- Turned out to be an angry channel catfish! lol
I got a resolute rod later fall and love it. The microwave guide definitely made a difference in cast distances especially with light lures. Great sensitivity, feel, and action. I will get more!

Notice thumbnail on clip, when the 1st guide hole is that small it conforms line coming off spool & diminishes casting distance greatly. You can hear & feel the line struggling to get through guide. On casting model I imagine it's not an issue but on the Resolute spinning model which is what I bought it's a big issue. I'm forced to pair it with an ultralight reel (smallest spool) I own & not the Emerald eagle reel I purchased with it. It's well made & has great action. Delivers very detailed feed back, especially for being MH. Using drop shot I can feel when I'm moving bait & when I'm moving bait & sinker (1/8ounce). Using Ned rig I can map bottom with ease. The feedback is great. But the casting issue can't be overlooked.

Great video and easy to understand explanation of the different varieties of rods and their features. I already own a couple of your rods/reels and they are quality items that I really enjoy using.
Now... if you good folks at Kastking ever made a sturdy affordable chest wader(with or without boots). In accurate US sizes and with enough fabric in the crotch and knees areas to be able to kneel without tearing. I’d be all over that too.
Hell I’ll volunteer to test them for you and put’m through the ringer for y’all. As long as I end up with an undamaged new set afterwards, of course. 👍🏼😁

Nano resin ? Not a scientist but wonder when and if graphene is ever going to be utilized in a fishing rod . Appreciate a KastKing response on this topic in order to be educated.

Can someone please post a review on this estuary rod that is not from KastKing? Can anyone point me to one?
I just don’t understand why they didn’t make 8.5, 9 & 9.5’ lengths available in the estuary series. A big miss in my opinion.
We went with the fastest selling sizes, first. There are many more models on the drawing boards. Stay tuned.

Why didn't they go with an IM-8 Rod? Add the Extra Strength (coating) to the rod. Why the Cork Handles? Go with Graphite. Or Carbon fiber? Oh, to keep the cost Affordable. YES. Buy the Rod in America. But buy the Reel in CHINA. I've got it all figured out.
