I have the 7'6" MH Resolute casting rod and it's been working great fighting fish out of heavy cover. I was skeptical about a 2 piece, but I am loving it! I'm gonna take it on vacation with me.
I am getting a Crixus spinning rod in the 6' 2-piece configuration. I have come to prefer two pieces because, as expected, it is easier to stow and transport. Yet another advantage is that the delicate graphite tip can be better protected. I have lost three good and expensive one-piece rods due to broken tips and it can happen before you can stop it.
Looking for a series with the nice grips, fuji guides AND fuji reel seat. Right now, there’s just the speed demon pro series, which is cool, but expensive, and doesn’t have a bunch of options for those of us that want more rod length options.
I bought a Resolute spinning rod, it's well built and sturdy. I ordered it with the Emerald Eagle spinning reel w/the 3000 size spool . I noticed those guides hinder distance greatly if line is coming off of a med/ large size spool. Eagle holds 300yrsds at 10lb. I put on a slightly smallrr spool (220 yds) & my casting distance doubled and I no longer feel line being confined to get through guide. Buy a size smaller reel than you usually would.
I have the crixus plus bait casting reel absolutely love it my favorite reel I've ever used I'm getting the crixus rod to match next I love that line up great job.
Ordered a resolute rod got nothing but a run around from last king. Still haven’t got it and no answer from kast king on where it could be out the money now. Going to the lees with microwave guides

KastKing that’s awesome you replied, I’d give it a shot if you sent me one lol but I am thinking about getting two crixus reels and putting them to the test in saltwater on red fish and flounder, maybe we can work something out for a UA-cam video on how well they hold up to salt and reds

You should make a resolute X, where you combine the crixus and the microwave guides, it's a something that would be cool and good for business

Hi have a ? For the casting 6ft Med fast models wont the Crixus model that's one piece be more sensitive than the resolute 2 piece model?
Different blank materials create different sensitivities.
Just wish you guys would make your casting rods with moderate or even moderate fast. Don't like fast for crank baits.
