I actually didn’t think she left around June. My guess was at the end of July or early of August. She clearly answered a letter on fanadss on July and she, at least, was still in korea (before coming back to her hometown) till August or Sept. Her family visited her around that time
@@milamoni93 we don't know it for sure...since Denise said she didn't know Minji and Zuu showed that she intended to leave around June - Agust (i am not sure ..i am sorry) I believe it was a hard time for her former group and company because as we know Lea who is the one who has always tried not to cry she was crying on idol radio said the latest comeback has been the hardest comeback ever...
I do have to add that Denise didn’t start disappearing from Secret Number until she posted about Black Lives Matter on insta in support of BLM and then all of a sudden they made her take that down and it was radio silence. Basically a lot of people have just figured out/think the reason they made her leave is because she supports BLM. Which is absolutely ridiculous. Denise took her platform to post about and bring attention to support a cause she believes in and she basically got kicked out for supporting black people.
@@wurirahmawati4337 first of all, I was talking about the time she might left the company. True. None of us knew the exact time. But I still believe she was still a part of secret number, at least until July. She replied the fanadds lettter stating “we as SN (secret number) members, sadly don’t have much control over a lot of areas....” she said that on July 17th 2021. Second of all, I watched the live when she said i’m not acquainted with the new members which means she is not close/familiar with them, doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t know them AT ALL. In addition to that, Minji Cake as an official SN member was posted on July 9th, 2021 on thecakestory ig. I get your point about the former fans. You might write it on seperate post just in case people who can’t read carefully missunderstood your point and come to meㅋㅋㅋ
Weirdly enough I think their other problem is that they're not marketed to SK audiences. Their UA-cam numbers are high thanks to their international fan base but they're not ingrained in Korean pop culture (thus low physical sales). But it's still to early to call them a failure, we've seen so many success stories in Kpop from groups that had worse beginnings. BTS at one point wanted to end, Stray kids lost a member, Brave Girls and Oh My Girl gained viral hits years after.....so many things can still happen.
None of those groups started anywhere near as poorly as Secret Number did though. BTS won rookie of the year and had notable people investing in them. Stray Kids from literally one of the biggest companies in all of Kpop and loosing a member had pretty much zero effect on them. Oh My Girl has had a much larger and steadier growing fanbase from the start and again had notable people working for them and notable brother group, B1A4. Only Brave Girls is somewhat comparable but even they had literally one of the top 3 songwriters in Kpop behind and backing them. Not to say they can't be popular but you kind of are equating two different things.
the company depends way to much on dita fame wise. Having one popular foreign member is not enough to get a stable fanbase in korea. they need to start pushing other members. the way it's going i see them just staying nugu till disbandment and dita going back to indonesia to be a proper celebrity in her homecountry. kinda like when thai/chinese kpop idols go back home and are way more successful there.
Dita fans mostly don't buy albums I think. They mostly steeam. I think they can make it and they won't be nugu forever but only of Vine starts treating them better.
Problem was, how come sn korean songs aint popular in korea itself? This itself has become a dependable answer to vine n people out there. Sn still survives only because of dita. Because indonesians are supporting dita no matter what. Thats why although views flop, they still get lots of views. Its more of nationality loyalty and support not appreciation for the music itself. If it was, the music would have been popular in korea itself. Come on. Its korean songs!
@@tearamika1401 that's what I think too. It also questions if SN is truly a Kpop group when so little of their fan base is in Korea itself. I don't have a doubt that their other members feel that too, most of them are still kpop idols who aren't even known in their own country. You think of Billlie whos most popular member is Japanese and YET the group is popular in SK mainly.
I mean Lea is popular in korea though, the company didn't promote them as idol group, they have brand deal, mc, being called to reality shows, sponsorship, but most are individual, they dont create better song production, they dont focus on them as a group
I think one of the main reasons why SN's popularity is like this is because they're very much being pushed into the Indonesian market (because their member, Dita, is Indonesian and Indonesian Kpop fans are one of the most dedicated). This results in them having high mv views but weak physical sales and digitals (because of the lack of solid South Korean fanbase).
Nah, i didnt see vine aim sn to indonesians. It just happened inadvertantly. Because dita already an indonesian. I saw vine aim at kpop fans in general, but specifically more at westernized n easy going teens into young adults kpop fans. Somewhat elite society amongst the targetted. Problem was those segments already had lots of more pro players than vine n sn now. N sn songs cant even compete with their products. In general big sum of kpop songs dont even vibe culturally with big sum of indonesian face value markets. Only around 40 or 30 percent of it matches. The other lies in hidden matches. Kpop only popular in indonesia because their music production good, visually blessed singers and their dance moves. Similar thing happened when there was india music love in Indonesia back then.
Yes catering to international fans is a high risk high reward strategy. You can be the next BTS/BlackPink but you can find yourself as a nugu group. The main avenues to generate income is by physical performances and album/single sales. International audiences have less access to physical events and typically don't buy albums/singles. The main way to get money from an international fanbase is by touring, which it seems like VINE doesn't have the connections to do.
Denise was honestly one of the best main vocalists in kpop. she knows how to use her voice. i was so upset when she left. their lastest comeback was extremely under whelming i was actually really disappointed. the only good parts were from the rapper Jinny. she literally carried that song
I think another reason for they are not sucessful is because their songs are badly produced and the mixing is bad. Their debut was ok, but the comebacks where clearly low budgeted. They need to get better producers or else they will never leave nugudom. Famous groups that are not from big 3 like StayC have good producers behind them.
@@vixxexo6855 I agree. They urgently need a great producer. I hope Vine knows that. I don't even care of their expensive branded outfits, just use the money for a great producer.
As someone who became a Lockey after Denise left and they entered their more intense flop era, it's really sad to see how many people gave up on the group or decided to not even give them a chance after the new members were added and they were no longer the rookies of the moment
It's not cause of the new members entering but because of Denise leaving. The same thing happened to Cherry Bullet with 3 members all of a sudden leaving within their 1st year. 2 of them were really popular
When a group goes inactive for a super long time, people lose interest. Many kpop fans have lost interest in Blackpink for this reason, myself included. I'll listen to their music here and there, but I'm not waiting for a release to drop and hardcore stanning. People honestly forgot about Secret Number and probably didn't recognize them with 6 members bc they remember stanning a 5 member group
I think the reason why the views went down was because theyre already given too many chances. Getting 40 millions if u had an indonesian there was easy. But to retain the interests, be loved its another story... Views dont necessarily mean love or like. Its just simply interests to view. Album sales: love or like. This comeback was far a lot better than those 3 single albums. I wont be surprised if they keep improving the next comeback would be getting more like n sales.
i believe 85% of SN fans is from Indonesia because of Dita, cuz like before SN debuted, a lot of indonesian celebrity congratulate her debut, her name is everywhere even in the news. Even my dad who didn't know kpop at all he ask me about a girl who will debut at korean group... and a lot of people who don't know kpop at all before, they're a fan of SN now because of Dita...
@@borntodie3457 EXACTLY!! i remember in MAMA rookie of the year category, SN win the pre vote far from Weeekly but, in the end Weeekly is the one who got ROTY because of their 40k+ album sales while SN didn’t pass 10k sales…
SN debute Album sales was low because Vine didn't expect SN Will be so Hyped back then. In an Interview, member only expect 100k views on their debute MV, but they reach 10M less than a week. Indonesian didn't buy album thats a fact and thats why a company like SM Ent. that have an office in Indonesia since 2015 didn't have a trainee from Indonesia even they always do casting in Indonesia. But Nitizen from Indonesia make SN fly so high even invited in Tokopedia Award in 2021 with BTS, BP, TWICE, ITZY, SKZ and many more (Tokopedia is The Largest Shopping Company in South East Asia) even the competitor name Shopee invited SN (That never happened before). There are no other group that invited in the two largest company in SEA. (BTS, BP,... Only on Tokopedia and GFriend only on Shopee). If Vine Ent. only focus for global market so why not. It proven that they got the profit. SM and JYP do that too (they try even harder by make gruop like WayV and Niziu)
@@p3dkevingirsang777 idols mainly get their wage through album sales and touring, appearance in tv/festival or streaming pay so little it's not dependable at all. Like just search how little spotify pay per stream... sm and jyp debut their groups there because they know japanese and chinese fans can be as insanely dedicated as south korean fans. they buy massive amounts of abums, dome tour pay a freaking lot, and look at TVXQ.. scandals and being in their 18th year but still have loyal following enough to hold a concert. indonesians move very very quickly in between trends + don't have reputable music chart, can not be compared to jp and ch
When I stanned them in gtb era I was in love with soodam her visual and Denise and I cried afte ri heard she left :(I still support them to the heart bec soodam is the best visual beauty ever
I was interested in SN's debut because I was a fan of Hana (now Lea) in Skarf. One of my favorite former groups. Big fan of Luv Virus stages with Hana as the cute maknae. Playing the senior role now. Sad
for me, fire saturday era was the hardest. i experienced sadness all the time and sudden pleasure, it was like riding a roller coasterㅜㅜ so guys please support my girls in the next comeback!🥺🥺
The visual of Soodam, The vocals of Denise and Minji, A main dancer like Dita and a good one like Zuu, The rapping skill of Jinny and a comedian and hardworking Lea. They are full of potentials that have powerful vocals, good visuals, solid raps, strong dancing skills and rich in personality are on point thus their songs is quite bop and bringing back a retro concept like 2nd Gen before, nostalgic. They are really diamond in the rough and needed to be polish but their company is worst, a trash exactly. THEY REALLY NEED A GOOD COMPANY TO MANAGE THEM BUT NEVERTHELESS THEY ARE COMING BACK LATE MAY OR EARLY JUNE THIS YEAR. So please support them♥️.
Their company didn't promote them as Idol group, they are being called for reality shows, brand deal, ost film, mc, etc but that's just individual not group
secret number ugh i love them a lot but this case is so frustrating :/ i was so hyped when they debuted and who dis? was one of my most played songs of 2020. same with got that boom, everything just felt right, i loved all 5 members and the vibes were great. and then it all went downhill, poor girls. i still love them especially jinnny man she can rap. minji and zuu are good new members btw. i hope their next comeback will be more successful
Vine entertainment is a new company, and still not so competent in handling their artist. They have a history of incompetency with the previous group, Shafla. Vine was failing them, Shafla has been poorly promoted even the member is very talented, and their debut song ddu ru ddu para ppa is a bop. I followed Secret Number quite a bit, and as I know Denise only had 3-year contracts with Vine. She did not renew the contract and left Vine and Secret Number. Things got so hard for them in this 2nd comeback (Fire Saturday). Jinny stated on Idol radio that she asks Minji to be a part of the group, maybe to recruit a new vocalist. Denise's departure from the group happens without proper information from Vine, so I don't blame people who are still confused about Denise's situation. During the Denise contracts problem, Secret Number went on hiatus. They're kind of not posting anything on their social media, and fans don't know what happens to them. Vine does a bare minimum when it comes to communicating with the fans, they're even introducing two new members (Minji and Zuu) so suddenly in Fire Saturday teasers. In my opinion, Secret Number still exist because they had a loyal fan. Even tho the fandom is small, they're so solid when comes to supporting them. What Vine has done is so wrong, but I hope Secret Number got successful in the future! Btw they're rumored to do 3rd comeback near May or June, can't wait for it😀
Agree. What I learned from a fandom - artist - company relationship is...the company has to give their best to promote their artists, considering almost all social media platforms are free. And the fandom will do the restㅋㅋ This relationship needs to be built to gain a loyal and royal fandom, but Vine didn’t even communicate to Lockey, they should at least let the members communicate and interact with us in all social media, not only on fanadds. Vine definitely failed me when Denise left. But I’ll always support the girls.
this!!! im so tired that vine literally waste every chance that they can to promote them better, i know that vine pay so that gtb song can be in the end of superman(?) idk i forgot the name of the variety show but its famous in sk also promoting them in cgv by held an event but its not enough considering its so expensive rather than doing a regular promotion just like other group which is cheaper bcs as we know their album sales still low they better had to save the money to buy better song/producer for comeback
It's actually a bit contradicting to call SN having a small fandom... They are huge in Indonesia here, mostly due to Dita, but at the same time, the fandom here doesn't really active in buying physical albums so...
How ironic life is. I remember in 2020 SN's videos had huge amounts of views and their fans were coming after Dongkiz's Lupin for copying Who Diss (they had the same sample). At the time this was the biggest amount of attention Dongkiz had ever gotten. Now 2 years have passed and Dongkiz is here with 100k album sales and SN is stuck in a company that doesn't know how to treat them. I really hope this new comeback does a complete 180 and the girls get what they deserve. They are so talented.
Their situation kinda reminded me of what happened to Spica.. Spica fell down after AOA win against them in a music show but for SN, Weeekly won against SN for ROTY in MAMA. SN fans was very disappointed because SN has huge number of views in every video and the votes in MAMA voting for ROTY was very high compared to Weeekly but they still didn't get the win because of Album sales against Weeekly which has many Kr fans. SN fans also flooded the video of Weeekly recieving ROTY in MAMA with negative comments before. After that situation SN slowly falling down, and Denise leaving (She's my bias 😭). I'm not a huge fan of them but I'm sad for them because they can be another big gg.
@@astrospear I remember that time. As a Lockey, I was ashamed of how others fell on Weeekly, as if they had something to do with the fact that people preferred to buy their albums instead of SN’s. I think I even pointed out the album sales on Twitter at the time, but most of them just want to stream videos. It costs nothing...
@@TomsMusicCorner I know how shitty Mnet is but we cannot always blame them for the lost of a group and ignore the fact that views and number of fans can't always win everything. Physical album sales has also big impact on a groups success too. I hope if they make a comeback soon it will be a success because they have so much potential to be a big group.
@@astrospear If I’m honest, I don't think it won’t work anymore. They’re burned. They should have made a comeback as a four member group before adding two new members. The interest of people in them decreased drastically between Nov 2020 and Oct 2021 :(
@@TomsMusicCorner Honestly, their two earlier title tracks are so good but I'm so disappointed with Fire Saturday, I listened two it twice just to make sure if it's a grower but it isn't for me. 😅 Maybe because I missed Denise voice or I just didn't feel the SN sound that I like.. I thought I will love it because I'm a sucker of Retro style songs.
denise indeed brought distinguish vocal color in secret number. however she decided to leave this group for unknown reason. as a lockey since they debuted i know exactly how they crawled from the very bottom to reach their place in korean music industry now. such an unfortunate thing to lose denise but please consider about other members' hardwork. they had the same dream as denise and they are willing to stay at the company because they refuse to give up. they have comeback with doomchita and physical album sales has reached their best sales compared to their previous album. so in my opinion, what's the problem about minji and zuu?? they did great!! fame is something that can be regained through times. and i never loose faith on them. i just dont believe that denise is the only key for secret number to success! she was my bias but as she left i found minji and zuu are also perfect for this group. time will prove they will be one of the biggest girl group someday. i know i'm not daydreaming.. ;)
I agree with you, i thougth secret number will lose their color after the departure of denise but minii and zuu addition completes the color of Secret Number they are destined to be with us
This Comeback Really Brought Honor To The Fandom. Fandom Believed In SN And Vine, Vine Realized Their Loyalty, And Did Something That They Had Been Planning All Along: PROMOTE. Seriously, I Haven't Seen These Complete Quality In Small Agency In K-Pop. Multi Talented Members, Solid Faithful Fandom, And Entertainment Company With Sound Business Plan.
The upcoming May/June 2022 is essentially a re-debut for the group after the previous year's turmoil. The group's new members are settled and not just a stop gap for a release meant for 5 members like Fire Saturday, they have enough time to formulate a solid comeback concept, and also still riding the wave of the success of Love Maybe, which has garnered waaay more attention via tiktok than your video might suggest, evidenced by SN's extremely rapid rise up the Gaon Social Chart 2.0 in recent weeks, even breaking into the top 10 (#7) this week. If only Vine is as outwardly enthusiastic of all of this as the Lockeys do...
Vine really needs to hire new producers. The quality always has been awful and ruined the songs for me. I think that also played a rule concerning thei decreasing success
I might add my own opinion too for SN's case: Vine Entertainment didn't do enough research on what market they are aiming for. Targeting Indonesian's market is a HUGE mistake (I'm saying this as an Indonesian Kpop fans btw). Indonesian fans are strong in streaming MVs, but Kpop albums are hella expensive for the majority of Kpop fans here. With the price of albums almost reach to $28 and people's income could reach below $100/month, buying Kpop merchs could only be achieved by those who have enough money, usually those who come from middle to upper class family or those who are already working. Vine should've focused more on the domestic or China/Japan/US/European countries market instead to gain fans who could actually help physical album sales, thus giving enough income for them to promote SN's activities.
I don't know where you got the data but Indonesian average income is US$350/month. Seeing how my fellow countrymen were willing to queue and splurge on McD just for slapping BTS's logo on their meals, $28 is well within their budget. Besides it's a one off thing meaning that SN doesn't actually flog albums on a monthly basis, they do it at the most twice a year. Apart from that, I agree. Bad management on Vine's part for choosing weak concepts and for not focusing more on marketing SN to SK market.
im speaking as indonesian, 28$ is not expensive even ur income just 50$/moth. they comeback only twice a year or at least once a year NOT every month. 😄
Innocent people would blame indonesian people prefferring streaming. Over marketing campaign too, would blame it on indonesian people preferring streaming. In every country there are always wealthy people. And indonesia just so huge. How many people are indonesians. How many wealthy people in indonesia can afford an album? That reasoning was quite a huge exaggeration. I prefer sn fans and team to be more of gentlemen. If sales werent that good, that meant lots of improvement needed. I only needed some clips of their singing preferrably in english or indonesian, their products and i already knew how much their value in art. The only cure is improvement. Most population of the world came from india indonesia china... Having an indonesian member is already a great help for sn. Dont ask more. Just improve the value of the art.
Many Indonesian Kpop Fans is student so they don't have any income. While the adult instead buying albums they prefer buying something else more valuables than some pop culture marchandise.
Nope Thats not a mistake because They Didnt do that. They got Indonesian attention effortless. They didn't know Dita Will make such an impact cause Dita almost not accept in the company. Money don't always come from Album Sales. Dita become Nasific Brand Ambassador, and invited almost every Tokopedia and Shopee Shows(the largest online shopping in SEA like Amazon), Minji and Jinny become MC, make a OST Drama song, invited in some youtbe channel and that give them money too.
i think the main problem and the hardest challange for SN is because Denise just leaving SN like that just after their first comeback and this is a crucial time to gain popularity, and Denise is their main vocalist with so many fans are really loving her unique voice which is this is a really big problem,i just cant really imagine if dita leaving SN too this will be the end of SN i think. note: just my opinion,im not blaming Denise thoo
seeing this video back, knowing secret number escaped nugudom and doing well makes me shed a tear. Cant wait to see them become more successful in the future.
@@cupidream9702 they did. They’re ost for business proposal became really popular and their combeack new comeback song debuted at #1 on bugs ( along 4 of their older song charting top 5 consecutively). Their albums also hit 10,000+ sales in its first week.
@@cupidream9702 Well If You disregard Their Achievement In 2020 & 2021, They Escaped "Nugudom" 3 Folds In The First 2 Weeks & More Coming. It's Amazing Considering They Had Just Lost Arguably The Best Main Vocal In KPop.
I always wondered why Denise left but if I spoke up about violence against POC and then got both my Instagram and even SoundCloud account deactivated I would be SO PISSED. She's an incredible vocalist and I hope she'll do better now!
Well, most people would do anything to go viral on tiktok. If indonesians start the trend out of support for dita, n those massive amount flooding tiktok, it would be automatically continued the already set trend. The reason why sn hasnt even reached fame was indonesians were already utilised, but the quality of their team n sn itself hasnt been maxed out. Thats why success was postponed. Its easier to go trending on tiktok or on views. Its harder to go trending on album sales because album sales require the love for the music.
The group really needs Denise as a vocalist, Fire Saturday not only has a weird mix but the two new vocalists can’t replace Denise’s strong and distinctive sound and timbre
@sasageyo yes i am also still curious of what happened there,, because from what i know Denise have been doing photo shot for fire Saturday and actively give spoiler on fanadds before and Also the admin who give food truck from fans also said that the MV shooting was planning on may or june but suddenly the plan was postpone, cmiiw
Fire Saturday I heard got the highest number of album sales among their album & so, I think Denise leaving isn't a big deal anymore. I'm sure they'll survive the industry.😇
what they need is a good song, imo, if you follow secret number, now they are participating in an ost for popular k-drama, and it was a sub-unit with only 3 dancer line (Dita, Soodam, Zuu) without even the main vocalist but it got the highest charting ever in their career history on melon chart and some korean charts, Minji is an amazing vocalist who is on par with denise so as long as they got the great song for the group, i think they'll be alright.
There was a rumour around fans that A FRIEND of Dita and Denise influence them to leave the company after the contract was over (after 2 years since debut in Feb 2020). But the problem is Fire Saturday (Denise Version) already on progress. So Vine had to find the replecement immediatly. Zuu Will be the new main dancer and Minji Will be the new Main Vocal. Thats why Minji and Zuu vibe almost similiar to Denise and Dita. But at the end Dita decide to stay. (Proven from Dita Birthday VLIVE Jinny ask her not to left). For me Fire Saturday is not a failure comeback, its a emergency comeback that can change the game. And The Next comeback on June 2022 Will be their new debute as 6 members after Denise position is clear.
even though losing a member is really hard for secret number especially when it is a powerful maknae & vocalist like denise but show must go on, with new members now they're trying their best to survive and it begins to pay off, this new era for the first time they got 10k sales in the first week, so much higher than their previous era and that's a happy news for the fans so please keep supporting them
They were one of the artists I really loved in 2020, I remember my friends were also hyping them up a lot. I think the hiatus really screwed up their fame along with the rather questionable follow up for Got That Boom, other groups that debuted that very same year like Weeekly and STAYC have already managed to blow up and build a pretty huge solid fanbase since they are consistent in releasing music which Vine failed to do so, not to mention the lack of music, 2 years into their career and their discography you can count with your fingers. With the newly found fame thanks to their version of Love Maybe going insanely viral on TikTok, Vine has to capitalize that popularity and release a mini or a full album for Secret Number now with a b-side of similar genre to the song.
I think secret number got in the same problem that LOONA did (dumb companies that put them in hiatus waaay to much) and obviously fans need a way to connect with their idols. This girls out their everything for a dream and this inefficient companies just destroy it.
Hiatus probably due to covid 19, small company get hit so much because of covid 19. Especially there's only online concert in that time due to regulation
@@tokio1106 oh yes most of the revenue groups get is with festivals, concerts and fanmeetings. Covid was a destructor of the live entertainment industry
No, this is not comparable. LOONA was supposed to be kept mysterious (what was the name of their creative director?) but BBC rightly didn't think that was okay. That's why Butterfly doesn't seem to fit the lore. Fortunately, LSM took notice of them. The So What bridge is a masterpiece, after all. Now they are in Queendom 2 and doing very well (but Hyolyn will win, I bet). Back to SN, they had a plan, the initial success. It came to fruition, at least partially. But the sales are enormously important to make money, so you can develop. Even another group that debuted almost at the same time as SN had sold a few thousand more. Of those who debuted at that time, only woo!ah! seems to be left, which are reasonably successful.
@@TomsMusicCorner I was thinking about the 2019 hiatus when we were going crazy with threads like "LOONA as chairs" bc the content was so little after the butterfly promotion. What I was comparing was a terrible company (bbc, vine) with a group with a strong international fanbase (secret number, loona) and a little fanbase in South Korea. Thankfully we have a orbits didn't suffer with a member parting ways and for better or worse got lsm attention. Let's hope sn got their momento to shine too
@@Fran_Fuentes Actually, BBC isn’t a bad company, but they don’t seem to have a sense of business. They’re missing someone who understands finance. No matter how good the girls are, if BBC burns the money, the girls could wait a long time for a paycheck. And at some point it might say “Disbandment because of bankruptcy." btw they need a comeback right after Queendom 2.
looking at the views for their comeback teasers, you can tell that they still have many fans awaiting their release. i think this comeback will hit bigger than fire saturday
And the problem is some people denial to say that indonesian fans is the biggest impact to their success... they keep saying international fans in general, but in reality, indonesian people IS the biggest international fans they had. And the fact is international fans didn't really help at their album selling (if you compare to other group with the same amount of viewers or even less viewer on youtube). Vine should focus on the group itself and see what's k-netz want. There's alot new girl group that debut around the same time as SN, and please don't deny it, we can see that vine didn't give the treatment like other SUCCESS girl group gets. Like the style/fashion, makeup, and the song... the song is good, i like it alot, but it's kinda not too western, not too korean, but not enough to stay in the middle! I hope if VINE wants SN to be popular & success like others gg we know, they should brave enough to hire well-known producer/composer.
@@aramarch107 they mean to say that SN's perceived success is always from outside South Korea. People usually say "international" fans when in reality is just Indonesian fans. Their votes, views, advertising deals, and fan response are mostly from Indonesia. So it's weird to say "international" when it's just from one country outside SK.
I agree with you😅. I'm indonesian and fans of SN and Orbit, a jpop group (a group I'm sure you dont know, its a small group) You know what, even Orbit album sales is higher than SN sales. Orbit MV youtube views is just around 1m views, even lower. SN really needs to promote their local value. Rather than focusing on international. Bcs, its sad to admit, but most of us international fans dont buy their album or merchandise. Only streaming.
@@orbitearth7579 I haven't heard about Orbit but what I know about Japan music industry is Japanese fans tend to buy albums! Like Korea, I think it would be promising to promote in those countries because of their buying capability
@@internationalrelations4973 that's how Twice was able to fitness the Japanese market. When other agencies saw how much money JYP made in Japan that's when they started recruiting Japanese trainees and making original Japanese music. The Japanese market is no joke!
We still have hope lockeys!! They might be losing a bit of fame but they shall gain more and more later on! Love maybe has proved it. I'm sure denise's leave had an impact but what doesnt kill you make you stronger right? They have talents and they are solid. Vine is new agency, lack of experience is indeed the issue. But i found a significant change lately. It is now more active in promoting our girls. Vine even making a simple mv for jinny's old song. It means vine is appreciating their girls talent.. with excellent synergy between secret number and vine i think fame is just a matter of time! Have faith lockeys! The girls need us..

Damn, I was really excited for the group at the beginning, I loved Who Dis and Got that Boom but not gonna lie, I genuinely forgot about them until Denise' departure was announced. I wish the best for the group especially now that COVID is finally starting to die down.
Their debut were popular and getting high views because indonesia people, which is where dita came from, are curious about the first girlgroup member from indonesia. She is the key of secret number's popularity
i like Denise, but now i also like Minji.. she really cares about their fans.. and brings a lot of fans from Korea.. and new member Zuu, she dances so amazing
I loved Denise in secret number but since I had followed minji since produce 101 season 1x I was very happy to see her here, I just wish Denise stayed and the two joined rather than kicking out denise
It was such a big lose for me to know that Denise left. But I stan of 5 members since the first, so even I really like Denise vocal color, I still need to support the rest members because they also got much talents as Denise has. I was confused about the main vocal if they keep goong without Denise. Thanks to vine and of course Jinny to call Minji and make her as the main vocal, maybe it has different color from Denise but now I love Zuu vocal color, she has so much potential to be the main vocal, It is just like Vine put 2 main vocal in SN. I am glad I don’t leave SN only because of Denise leaving, other girls really talented, funny and so much entertaining. OT6 now!!!
Thank you for sharing information with people who don't know the secret number, I really love this group. and hopefully this year vine will improve for the secret number. Lockey wasn't demanding much, just wanted Vine to further boost the promotion. and for the two new members the fans already love them.
They fumbled the bag after not keeping Denise which was the one who attracted a lot of people after Dita. Denise voice is something special and rare in kpop. Now they are just another nugu group.
So keep support them guys. Respect about u guys part of people can't move on with denise. Denise is my bias too, they have camistry already when they are OT5, they are no shy with each other, no bullying, and yah they are a global girl group the only one i like. 👍❤️ Keep going support them thanks you
Personally I was a BIG fan when SECRETNUMBER first debuted; it was the first group that I had stanned from the very beginning. I loved each member I enjoyed the multi-cultural aspect that isn’t too common. I could relate to this group since Denise was American and her vocals made me her bias. I actually knew of Jinny from the Produce Series and later found that she was in the Pre-Debut Line Up for BLACKPINK. Lea’s personality was very enjoyable and h lives her relationship with Jinny (a true comedic duo). Dita and Soodam were both a breath of fresh air since Dita was the first Indonesian to be in Kpop and her stage presence was amazing and Soodam had little to no background but had great vocals and dance skills, also a Korean visual who had her natural face shape (I LOVED IT ❤️). I noticed that SECRETNUMBER content was slowing down and becoming less consistent and I was very upset but hopeful when there had been such a long hiatus after Got That Boom. And then I heard the rumors of my bias leaving the group; Denise😭🫠. I was sooooo scared and sooo sad. Since her debut I had been praying for her, for she was a Christian who was very open abt her faith. I knew she would face opposition for her faith and being so open abt it, so I knew there may have been issues in the future; I always prayed for her focus on God, her strength, and protection. Then it was confirmed; my Bias freaking left the group. I really did like the dynamic that SECRETNUMBER had from Debut to Got That Boom, so when she left I still wanted to support my other girls and to reassure the new comers that their hard work and time to debut is a beautiful and I’m sure ppl would support them…..but the group wasn’t the same for me without Denise. Now my FINAL STRAW was when the performed Got That Boom and gave the new girls Denis’s lines divided evenly amongst the two. I tried to let it go BUT I WAS PISSED cuz Got That Boom was my Favorite song. I couldn’t handle it. Of course it wasn’t the only reason I left, but it sure pushed me over the edge. Hopefully the girls can find success and I’m praying that Denise continue to pursue her dreams and maybe I’ll see some of her content in the future, but as of right now, I can’t say that I’m going to be doing much with them.
They wanna comeback again around may or june this year. OST Love, maybe singing by them really makes them rise up again. I hope it can be increasing their fans and albums sales
Denise was my bias and I was devestated to see her leave, but I'm concerned with fans reception. I feel a lot of fans dragged Fire Saturday because they weren't happy with the new lineup (more than the song was iffy), but I hope people can give Minji and Zuu a chance and support Denise in whatever she chooses. I'm worried SN will go down if fans stay bitter. EDIT: auto-correct
i remember they started off at a similiar point as weeekly, and there was a race to rookie of the year. now weeekly are famous and secret number are nugu. it really shows the power of promotion, and it’s sad knowing that they were so close to having that same success
I love this channel, it's amazing you take the time to investigate everything about groups that have been decreasing in fandom and the possible reasons, I follow a lot of groups so it's hard to keep up with the news of some groups changing number of members, adding members, being on hiatus, etc. I'm really thankful , I love this kind of content and I'm looking foward to more history on groups.
the journey of an idol is not only the popularity of the group or the number of mv views, but the charisma of each member, and each member of the secret number has that.
I was getting into them right from debut but once Denise left I took a step back from liking them as much. It’s not because denise was my bias but because when things change from how they originally were, I lose interest. Just like with soojin from (G)-idle, I’m not as interested as I once was because the dynamic is not the same.
Many their fans going denial for not like SN because of dita only (majority their fandom from indonesia) but for now if their music is that good they will going better than now
I’m so happy u and Jihoon decided to collab with each other!! It’s such a shame what SN has been through!! I listened to their debut song a lot back in 2020, and seeing them being nominated for many best new female artists I thought they were gonna be one of the biggest Kpop GGs ever that debuted in 2020 alongside StayC and Weeekly (PlayM/IST also ruined them when they were at their peak in my opinion) but unfortunately Vine just decided to ruin their reputation by doing so many stupid things. That company can just go bye bye.
@@j.a4196 no but I think the company should’ve handled things a little bit better back in their After School Era. When they were at their peak. although all of the nominees for the 2020 MAMA best new female artist category were from medium sized or smaller companies. And weeely was the most popular out of all the nominees and won. If aespa debuted earlier and was able to be nominated then they would’ve lost. And plus I’m low key worried for Jiyoon. She’s probably the most member who gets hated by “fans” and she’s been on hiatus for quite some time now. I’m low key not surprised either as the members of Apink said themselves they didn’t like the company itself.
@@j.a4196 it’s really sad some people only know that song by them. Just like Ikon’s love scenario and Pentagon’s Shine. I recommend checking out their other songs like Tag Me (@ Me, their debut), ZigZag, Holiday Party, And most recent Ven Para and Solar
I hope Vine Entertainment pushes to get them a Korean fanbase with this comeback. Their interanational fans are still really interested compared to the local fans but the success of "Love, Maybe" gave me hope as a fan. It also doesn't help that the title fire saturday was underwhelming compared to their first singles. The company depended too much on Denise's voice in their music so when she left Secret Number needs to find a sound that accomadates the group as a whole. Also, promoting all the members as much as they promote Dita could actually help with keeping fans interested. Only recently have the rest of the members gotten solo promotions and I think the company was trying to push their most popular member to keep their large Indonesian fanbase. I hope Secret Number are successful this year as their still is attention on them and Vine needs to utilse this!
Exactly like the way the company promotes could help like trying to get them on more variety shows like knowing bros that have a big amount of audience or other shows that air on TV in South korea that could bring more fans to the group. But yeah I was going to leave fandom at one point. I waited for the next comeback to come to see how it turned out but then seeing new members joining got me confused. I had high hopes for Fire Saturday, it's okay but without Denise it would of been much better. I don't know if I can stay in the fandom much longer or just find another group to stand but Imma see how this upcoming comeback turns out
I remember finding ‘Got that Boom’ in 2020 and seeing their success thinking they had top 4th gen gg in the bag- but I haven’t heard much from them since. Looking them up I found this video :( hopefully they blow back up
I used to follow the group before debuting and i was so hyped for their release and they looked so promising! I was there the first two comebacks, wouldn't call myself a lockey, just a casual listener and fan who loves their work and to be honest i was going to stan them but after the denise case i was scared for the group and the feeling of them being promising was not there anymore and i was afraid of them disbanding. Literally wouldn't bare that. I couldn't enjoy the comeback fire saturday enough. Like yes it was a great song but adding two members and making one leave is a big red flag for me at least ( even if it was by her choice we dont know what happened behind the scenes ). As you mentioned they had a successful comeback and debut, yes fire saturday was good but i cant easily forget a member and accept two additional members. And i see why their popularity decreased with their latest comeback and no one can deny that. I wish them all the best
I might sound extreme for saying this, but at this point, Vine Ent should just allow personal SNS accounts to be opened for all the members and let them put out the content / livestreams / connect with the fans - if Vine is that incapable of putting up any. (At the members' own pace/spare time of course).
I Have been a secret number fans since their pre debut IMO secret number potential is very wasted because of the lack of the comeback last year, i really wish Vine is know about how to promote their group
i know...i still remember that week when sn, wkly, rsq, and woo!ah! debuted. i was there when (as a former weeekly fan) roty awards were happening haha. incredibly both fun and toxic times, i was still a fan of sn first. it was noticeable how they slowly disappeared. kept waiting for their comeback, and fast forward denise leaves, two new members, music quality went downhill....it's just sad. was really looking forward to them. bad management really
Thank you for making this video. Need to mentioned that, it is true vine entertainment doesn't do well in managing the girls. But lockey entertainment will always have the girls' back. 🤣🤣
indonesian here. i think secret number wouldn't have been this huge had there not been an indonesian member (dita)...? sure, the other girls are great and talented, but dita has made a name for herself here, having her own solo schedules and all. without her, i'm not entirely sure if they'd have the same amount(?) of success. (this isn't a hate towards any of the girls btw. i like their music, and i know some of the girls have remarkable predebut track record. i was just wondering if the same indonesian fans would have been on their back if dita wasn't in the lineup)
You're absolutely right. Jinny and Denise had a certain number of fans coming in since they were former YG trainees, but Dita really brought in the success. Most of the fan content online is in Indonesian. Yall really push the group's success, and as an American former fan, I can't deny that. (After Denise left my interest waned as she was my bias, and I didn't like Fire Saturday at all.)
I'm not Indonesian but i agree, i only heard about the group because they announced that the first Indonesian kpop idol would be debuting, also all the comments were all about Dita
it’s definitely a correct assumption, without her the fans would have been less since Jinny & Denise had some from being YG trainees BUT dita brought most of them from being the FIRST Indonesian idol. It’s how I found out about them
@sasageyo okay and? Dita still brought the majority of attention to the group by being Indonesian and Indonesia is one of the biggest consumer of Korean media. One mention of Indonesia and indonesians will immediately flock to the content.
the new line up seems promising, Minji is as great as Denise, and she is a potential song writer for the group along with Jinny, Zuu is a potential dance machine and her voice is also great. and this past 5 months after fire saturday, there are some great projects coming for them if u follow their activities, Minji got projects as composer and became MC with Jinny for music show, Dita debuted as a cameo for indonesian film, they got a project for ost and got the highest charting in their entire career, so hopefully they will blow up this comeback
Don't worry, without Denise... secret Number still on fire. Thank you LOCKEY for supporting secret Number with 6 members. Dita, Lea, Jinny, Minzy, Zuu and Soodam fighting for next comeback
I only heard of this group through Denise’s Instagram post. I’m still peeved over the fact that the company silenced her just for her showing support towards the black community. 😒 She’s got nothing but my absolute respect.
I watched a Who Dis performance and absolutely loved Denise. I didn’t really notice the other members that much. Though I am not a Secret Number fan, I was hoping to listen to more of the group but now that Denise left I don’t really have an interest anymore. I just found out she left and I’m so sad.
Yeah, The Last Message Was Classy Though, 2 Keep Supporting SN, That What We'll Do While Supporting Denise. Seriously, You Have Just Found Out? I Cried 4 Months, But Life Goes On, Really. Love U
Vine ent should do more research abt marketing. They have 3 main market, SK, Western, and SEA. Their SEA was pretty good (def cuz Dita). They also gained some western attention bcz Denis's dreamy voice during GTB. Unfortunately, they cant handle it. Denise left the group and their promotion is a mess. Wish all the best for them
Yea, Jihoons Carat, what a pleasant surprise crossover! So glad you both support each other and the groups you are helping gain attention. Thanks to you both for your ongoing hard work.
Okay this is a major oversimplification of a lot. For one I am tired of people complaining “they waited too long to release a new song” as if Vine just sat there and did nothing for a year. The group was actually planning to release FS in June/July but then whatever happened with Denise happened and she left and the company had to scramble to recruit new members and basically re-do everything and somehow still managed to get a comeback out in four months with two entirely new members despite the massive group reorganization they undertook. It’s a known fact Denise did not get to know the new members (proof they were added after she left), and Minji we know joined the company and group around June due to a post from a friend of hers. There are also photos of Denise in clothes from FS and members were dropping substantial teasers in April/May around that time. The company didn’t just twiddle their thumbs for a year they’d been preparing the entire time but then things went sour and they had to reorganize which takes time. We don’t even know how much they’d prepared and for all we know they had to refilm an entire music video, re-record two songs, reshoot an entire album (and re-design as well), oh an also rearrange and re-teach the choreography. Also Léa was posting on fanadds throughout the entire hiatus. So it wasn’t just dead silence from everybody. Obviously they had to limit their interaction otherwise they would need to address the massive elephant in the room that is Denise missing and two new people added. I am so tired of addressing this misinformation and I am disappointed to see it being spread even further due to people not doing their due diligence. Sorry if I come off sounding rude but I am genuinely very annoyed, I love secret number and I am sad about the way things turned out with Denise but I can’t sit idly by while people keep spreading misinformation about this group that I love.
Hello, thank you very much for your comment. Insight from fans like you is essential when we make videos like this as we want them to represent the fans' opinion the best way possible. We did contact quite a few fans and had them look over the script & changes were made. The additional info of when Denise left & the new members joined is really valuable, so thank you for adding that! We're very sorry that the video seems oversimplified, we'll make sure to get a wider range of feedback next time and do better on the collected information. Have a good day :)
@@searchingforelris i am so thankful for the video that the admin upload but yes many information not added in here and i am afraid it Will give some missinformation 🙏😭 and i am agree About the lack of content in the UA-cam channel and also on the vlive that Will show their talent, the fans are trying so hard to look for pre debut video that show their talent that we don't know before and it amaze us, but yeah on fanadds the members always trying actively post some picture, tell us about what they are doing and reply on the fans letter, i hope for their succes in the future because all of them are so talented and they always do their best to do what they dream on to be especially Lea, Jinny and minji, who join in a survival show, a long training and on the Verge to giving up,😭
Most artist in general make revenue by physical performances at festivals and the like. Maybe VINE didn't have the connections to keep them performing at events to make a steady income. That could be why there was a whole year in between their 2nd and 3rd comebacks. A lot of these mid-tier companies are biting off more then they can chew. They have maybe for trainee, music videos, and styling but don't have the connections to be in the places that generate revenue to sustain the groups long term.
Even Vine never have their MV adds. It's not just about the views but I think if the company advertise their MV, a lor of people would know them. And maybe they became interest with the girls tooo
Secret Number have everything they need to achieve success but one... *HIT SONGS.* Songs that general public love, not just their fans. Just like 'Bboom Bboom' or 'Rollin'' for examples. That's how groups from small companies can survive IMHO.
omg- vine added new members because there is no main vocal after denise left! minji is the new main vocal, she trained for 9 years! can't you imagine? i think the new members deserve love too 😭

As stated by some fans in the comments, VINE was planning to release a comeback around May of 2021. Denise left around June & two new members had to be added. I actually didn’t think she left around June. My guess was at the end of July or early of August. She clearly answered a letter on fanadss on July and she, at least, was still in korea (before coming back to her hometown) till August or Sept. Her family visited her around that time
@@milamoni93 we don't know it for sure...since Denise said she didn't know Minji and Zuu showed that she intended to leave around June - Agust (i am not sure ..i am sorry)
I believe it was a hard time for her former group and company because as we know Lea who is the one who has always tried not to cry she was crying on idol radio said the latest comeback has been the hardest comeback ever...
Denise took her platform to post about and bring attention to support a cause she believes in and she basically got kicked out for supporting black people.
i hate denise she broke other members dream to survive untill group being success
You're so true!
The company should focus on Korea(Local) Marketings first then slowing to focus on International Marketings...
@@mmjjnn0 Secret Number has big international fanbase because Dita is Indonesian and she's the first Indonesian kpop idol
Kara also started with 4 members, lost 1 members and then comeback as 5. They're also more popular in japan than korea..
the company depends way to much on dita fame wise.
@@margaesperanza things would get better if they found better songs to sing. Their songs just " " thats why its hard for em to be more popular.
This results in them having high mv views but weak physical sales and digitals (because of the lack of solid South Korean fanbase).
i agree with you i'm Indonesian but i feel like Vine should promote SN more so SN can more popular in Korea
I agree with you,
@@tearamika1401 you think you did something by jumbling english words together... Your comment flopped. Stay uncultured💅
Yes catering to international fans is a high risk high reward strategy. You can be the next BTS/BlackPink but you can find yourself as a nugu group. The main avenues to generate income is by physical performances and album/single sales. International audiences have less access to physical events and typically don't buy albums/singles. The main way to get money from an international fanbase is by touring, which it seems like VINE doesn't have the connections to do.
denise was the reason i liked secret number tbh. her voice is just amazing. i hope they do well...
Me too. I checked out when she left.
Yup her personality and all
Same
Sameee she was my bias
Same-
Denise was honestly one of the best main vocalists in kpop. she knows how to use her voice. i was so upset when she left. their lastest comeback was extremely under whelming i was actually really disappointed. the only good parts were from the rapper Jinny. she literally carried that song
Secret Number is such a great group, they deserve so much better! I wish them a lot of success with their next Comeback 💖
@Q J they're unknown to many countries except Indonesia now
Not flop more like silent era
Even my dad who didn't know kpop at all he ask me about a girl who will debut at korean group... and a lot of people who don't know kpop at all before, they're a fan of SN now because of Dita...
but they dont buy albums...
As an Indonesian myself, I can confirm Secret Number M/V's trend here.
@@p3dkevingirsang777 idols mainly get their wage through album sales and touring, appearance in tv/festival or streaming pay so little it's not dependable at all. Like just search how little spotify pay per stream...

indonesians move very very quickly in between trends + don't have reputable music chart, can not be compared to jp and ch
When I stanned them in gtb era I was in love with soodam her visual and Denise and I cried afte ri heard she left :(I still support them to the heart bec soodam is the best visual beauty ever
hey, SN will cb in 6-july-2022 🌞
People always like to complain how JYP, YG, Cube, YH etc. mistreat their idols but these small companies are way worse. 😅
I was interested in SN's debut because I was a fan of Hana (now Lea) in Skarf. One of my favorite former groups. Big fan of Luv Virus stages with Hana as the cute maknae. Playing the senior role now. Sad
Yes mee to I checked them out because of Léa haha. I loved Skarf.

so guys please support my girls in the next comeback!🥺🥺
I feel that, after a long hiatus and member changes it was so hard for Lockey
@@madao2794 huh?
secret number ugh i love them a lot but this case is so frustrating :/ i was so hyped when they debuted and who dis? was one of my most played songs of 2020. same with got that boom, everything just felt right, i loved all 5 members and the vibes were great. and then it all went downhill, poor girls. i still love them especially jinnny man she can rap. minji and zuu are good new members btw. i hope their next comeback will be more successful
Btw they're rumored to do 3rd comeback near May or June, can't wait for it😀
Yess ......thank you for your kind comment.......
Can I ask how long do other girls have? How long are their contracts?
Because idk this info. Did they sign a longer one than Denise?
It's actually a bit contradicting to call SN having a small fandom... They are huge in Indonesia here, mostly due to Dita, but at the same time, the fandom here doesn't really active in buying physical albums so...
as a lockey, im rlly disappointed that they aren’t as popular as they were during debut
they have one of the best 2020 debuts, i'm do sad for them :(
How ironic life is.
I thought I will love it because I'm a sucker of Retro style songs.
honestly without dita they'd be no where.
denise indeed brought distinguish vocal color in secret number. however she decided to leave this group for unknown reason. as a lockey since they debuted i know exactly how they crawled from the very bottom to reach their place in korean music industry now. such an unfortunate thing to lose denise but please consider about other members' hardwork. they had the same dream as denise and they are willing to stay at the company because they refuse to give up. they have comeback with doomchita and physical album sales has reached their best sales compared to their previous album. so in my opinion, what's the problem about minji and zuu?? they did great!! fame is something that can be regained through times. and i never loose faith on them. i just dont believe that denise is the only key for secret number to success! she was my bias but as she left i found minji and zuu are also perfect for this group. time will prove they will be one of the biggest girl group someday. i know i'm not daydreaming.. ;)
I agree with you, i thougth secret number will lose their color after the departure of denise but minii and zuu addition completes the color of Secret Number they are destined to be with us

This group literally lucky to have that popular international member
Dita? She's not even that popular internationally. Only for Indonesian and still many indonesian non kpop fans don't know her
@@sleepylinny_ they all not popular but at least that one have enough fans (not many) to gain momentum
@@sleepylinny_ wym if they don't have dita they won't close any show deals with indonesia's e-commerce giants😂
I believe that one day they will be successful and get more attention
Cant wait to see them become more successful in the future.
have they escaped nugudom?
@@cupidream9702 they did. They’re ost for business proposal became really popular and their combeack new comeback song debuted at #1 on bugs ( along 4 of their older song charting top 5 consecutively). Their albums also hit 10,000+ sales in its first week.

Hopefully, a lot of people who listened to the OST, buys the albums for the upcoming comeback. 🙏
but not with melon chart and listening
@Kyro Oneplus what's wrong with Indonesian viewers?
Well, most people would do anything to go viral on tiktok. If indonesians start the trend out of support for dita, n those massive amount flooding tiktok, it would be automatically continued the already set trend. The reason why sn hasnt even reached fame was indonesians were already utilised, but the quality of their team n sn itself hasnt been maxed out. Thats why success was postponed. Its easier to go trending on tiktok or on views. Its harder to go trending on album sales because album sales require the love for the music.
@Kyro Oneplus nope so many fans in the world use that song for dance even korean actrees😀
Without Denise secret Number still doing great job, Please Denise era is already over. Please support 6 member.
what they need is a good song, imo, if you follow secret number, now they are participating in an ost for popular k-drama, and it was a sub-unit with only 3 dancer line (Dita, Soodam, Zuu) without even the main vocalist but it got the highest charting ever in their career history on melon chart and some korean charts, Minji is an amazing vocalist who is on par with denise so as long as they got the great song for the group, i think they'll be alright.
and still, fire saturday is their best song 😕
What did you mean lnternational fans? So lndonesia is part of korea???

Their debut were popular and getting high views because indonesia people, which is where dita came from, are curious about the first girlgroup member from indonesia. She is the key of secret number's popularity
i like Denise, but now i also like Minji.. she really cares about their fans.. and brings a lot of fans from Korea.. and new member Zuu, she dances so amazing
the rookie girl groups that had so much potential . . . that year long hiatus affected the fanbase and momentum that they had accumulated.

Watched your collab With Jihoons Carat on Checkmate. Wishing the best for Secret Number.
Me too
Jinny has a lot of potential and it's really such a shame for vine to hold SN back.
The new line up could occupy something like AOA, Exid, Girls Day route. The line up is perfect for mature and sexy concept.
Right, that's what I always point out in the comments in all off their video. 😄
Semoga di Comeback selanjutnya bisa meningkatkan popularitas secret number, Dan karirnya menjadi besar tanpa terbuang sia-sia
Denise was my bias :(
Mine too
Im not interesred anymore
They wanna comeback again around may or june this year. OST Love, maybe singing by them really makes them rise up again. I hope it can be increasing their fans and albums sales
Denise was my bias and I was devestated to see her leave, but I'm concerned with fans reception. I feel a lot of fans dragged Fire Saturday because they weren't happy with the new lineup (more than the song was iffy), but I hope people can give Minji and Zuu a chance and support Denise in whatever she chooses. I'm worried SN will go down if fans stay bitter.

Imagine if they are still 5 then add 2 members. It would be much stronger. Yees we can only imagine. But I hope they do well, Denise too.
i remember they started off at a similiar point as weeekly, and there was a race to rookie of the year. now weeekly are famous and secret number are nugu. it really shows the power of promotion, and it’s sad knowing that they were so close to having that same success
Honestly when denise left the group i sadly drifted away from the group. I hope they do well tho
I'm glad minji and zuu join to replace denies, think that comeback is fresh start for them. Looking forward for the next project.
Why the company ruined Weeekly? by changing their concept?
@@gwenmloveskpopandmore Oh, okay, i don't know too much about Weeekly i just listen After School because it's a really good song. Thanks for the info.
@@j.a4196 ur welcome
@@j.a4196 it’s really sad some people only know that song by them. Just like Ikon’s love scenario and Pentagon’s Shine. I recommend checking out their other songs like Tag Me (@ Me, their debut), ZigZag, Holiday Party, And most recent Ven Para and Solar
SN is so talented and so underrated💕
Looking them up I found this video :( hopefully they blow back up
I am literally so sad that Denise left 😭
I Have been a secret number fans since their pre debut IMO secret number potential is very wasted because of the lack of the comeback last year, i really wish Vine is know about how to promote their group
i know...i still remember that week when sn, wkly, rsq, and woo!ah! debuted. i was there when (as a former weeekly fan) roty awards were happening haha. incredibly both fun and toxic times, i was still a fan of sn first. it was noticeable how they slowly disappeared. kept waiting for their comeback, and fast forward denise leaves, two new members, music quality went downhill....it's just sad. was really looking forward to them. bad management really
they're good at hip hop then company decided to comeback with f**king st*pid retro😂😂
It’s how I found out about them
Saya dukung Jokowi 3 priode, uraa...
@sasageyo okay and? Dita still brought the majority of attention to the group by being Indonesian and Indonesia is one of the biggest consumer of Korean media. One mention of Indonesia and indonesians will immediately flock to the content.
They are my fav group after 9Muses bacause their songs are Bops
We àlways love you secret number😘
Please keep support them ❤️ LEA, DITA,JIINY, MINJI, SOODAM AND ZUU 💗
the new line up seems promising, Minji is as great as Denise, and she is a potential song writer for the group along with Jinny, Zuu is a potential dance machine and her voice is also great. and this past 5 months after fire saturday, there are some great projects coming for them if u follow their activities, Minji got projects as composer and became MC with Jinny for music show, Dita debuted as a cameo for indonesian film, they got a project for ost and got the highest charting in their entire career, so hopefully they will blow up this comeback
I hope denise re debuts in a different group. She’s a very good idol.

Yeah, The Last Message Was Classy Though,

Seriously, You Have Just Found Out? I Cried 4 Months, But Life Goes On, Really. Love U
HAPPY 10K ALBUM SALES FOR DOOMCHITA BY SECRET NUMBER!!
Wish all the best for them
I hope they can do well in the future ~

woah, 2 favourite channels collab!!

@@learnforfunabcd Hey, the information was added in a pinned comment with an apology for not researching enough. I hope this clears things up :)
*HIT SONGS.*
Songs that general public love, not just their fans. Just like 'Bboom Bboom' or 'Rollin'' for examples.
That's how groups from small companies can survive IMHO.
Their comeback teaser is out guys, Dita's teaser came first. Please support them.

I miss Denise so much 😢, I still don’t see the point in why vine added new members.
omg-
vine added new members because there is no main vocal after denise left! minji is the new main vocal, she trained for 9 years! can't you imagine? i think the new members deserve love too 😭
