I had a good laugh at Enough? Because I thought it was a pretty cool break from the excessive edge Paleface likes to do or at the very least, a different way of displaying it. Appreciate the experimentation and the short runtime of the album. Actually liked it.
I liked the album, more varied then their old material and hopefully another stepping stone for them. I have a feeling the best is yet to come from this band.
That I agree with. If they continue to learn and grow and adapt the way that they have I feel certain they'll drop a real doozy in the very near future.
This new album from Paleface Swiss was the first new release I listened to this year. I liked it; it brought me back to the same sort of nostalgic edginess that Slipknot’s self-titled had, right down to the breathing ad-libs between some of the lyrics. I thought the closing song was a good attempt at sounding like Sleep Token… But there is only one Sleep Token. However, I’ve got to give them credit for trying, and I thought I heard what sounded like a theremin on the song, so that was pretty cool!
I actually loved this new Paleface Swiss album and I expected this album to be your first review of the year. I think that this album is an improvement over Fear & Dagger. What a brutal way to start the year but if you weren’t digging it that’s okay, I do.
Me and my friend listened to it in full and we agreed it definitely told a story of anger and using it in some way, shape or form to cover up sadness or regret.
Personally i enjoyed Enough? I thought it was interesting and i kind of liked the almost nu metal feel it had. Also love the message think its something thats not discussed enough.
Agreed! On such a short album they waste the first 1min44secs on an intro. Tracks swing between sounding like Slipknot & Korn and the vocalist sounds like he has asthma. Congratulations on hitting the 20K subs - well deserved!
Its interesting but really overproduced and overall just not my cup of tea. But this may be another 'im in the minority' moment because I've seen so many super positive comments and reviews.
Yes! A Paleface Swiss review from you! I don’t care if your review is positive or critical of the album, (Yes I’m commenting before watching the video) I love this band and they scratch my heaviness fix. I’m glad regardless that you are reviewing them. 👊
I've only listened to half of this record so far and yeah I agree pretty much, it's pretty loud although I think that songs like Hatred really get your head bobbing, and of course songs like Enough? which was pretty interesting, but the vocals and the lyrics can get pretty edgy too
I'm listened to few single and yeah it does sound like the first 2 Slipknot albums. I guess it's there for ppl who feel nostalgic but want a new material.
I only recently fully listened to them. Every album, etc. Listened to the band on Garza's podcast. And, I really like the band as people. Discussing mental health, pushing back on the red pill nincompoops, and just seem cool. But musically. Its just not for me. A couple songs I do really like. Some songs I absolutely hate. And some that are just boring. Like, extremely boring. But he is a great vocalist. Give him that. So, at the end of the day. Im hyped they are getting big. And people like them. They arent for me, and thats okay. But happy to have them in the scene.
Paleface Swiss is a killer band imo. I actually saw them live last year when they opened up for the ghost inside in Chicago. This new album was kind of meh for me. I liked their older stuff more, especially their trilogy albums
I tried to get into Paleface Swiss, but they remind me of a deathcore version of Five Finger Death Punch. Thank you for reviewing Patriarkh first. It is a FAR superior album (granted these albums have nothing in common with one another). It's okay to be in the minority. I've been in the minority my entire life, and one of my favourite things to say is "I come out of left field because right field is too full." As for an album suggestion. Here's an out of the box pick, Haunted Horses' album Dweller.
Yeah, kinda agree with you Mr.Meltdown. That rapping was super cringe, the closer was surprisingly good. Strong moments here and there the intro was super cool and haunting. Weak moments too... these guitar solos are very thrashy and don't fit the vibe imho. But overall a enjoyable listen and maybe one of the guilty pleasure albums for me this year.
Have not heard it yet but I'll check it out. Your complaints of too much going on is pretty much how I feel when ever I hear lorna shore. I can't stand them it sounds like chaos
I wouldn't say its as chaotic as Lorna Shore... but ironically I think between the two I'd pick Lorna Shore lmao, just because I like some of that really grand orchestral work.
@themetalmeltdownofficial yeah I like orchestra in metal but more so how bands like lamb of god and rammstien will utilize it at times. I think the closest thing to lorna shore I've enjoyed would be brand of sacrifice they have a lot of interesting moments. I just started listening to this paleface album and I like some tracks so far. It's rare when I like an album from start to finish though so I'd say it's a solid effort.
This album is a big mess it reminded me of that self titled Suicide Silence album but not as bad as that one. Really corny lyrics sometimes.I had never heard of them until a few weeks ago.
The videos on an ad before it’s started. I’m gonna say it didn’t, but I dunno who was hyped for this anyways. They’ve sounded like an early slipknot clone like STPs Kostolom did. But where as STP only did the sound; Paleface leaned fully into it with the I’m crazy, I’m unstable, you should know not to fuck with me vibe all while giving off machine gun kelly vibes. Bonus points for dressing like him too.
I used to like them but this new album its just cringe and all over the place Even when theres a good part its just like anything else u heard someone doing already 1/5
Paleface continue to be one of the bands ever.
They do be one of the bands. You got that right
Paleface Swiss sounds like a kind of cheese.🧀
Quick! Someone make a parody band called paleface Swiss fromunga cheese.
I prefer shredface cheddar
top tier cheesecore band

Solid cut, one of the more unique musically on the album.
Congrats 20k my dude!! You're one of my absolute favourite yt music reviewers keep on doing what you're doing!
I intend to, thanks bud 🍺🍺🍺
Your final summary is kinda how I feel about Deathcore as a whole. Enthusiast 2.5/5. Well put.
I actually loved this new Paleface Swiss album and I expected this album to be your first review of the year. I think that this album is an improvement over Fear & Dagger. What a brutal way to start the year but if you weren’t digging it that’s okay, I do.
This was just about the most unexpected album i’ve ever seen on this channel
Me and my friend listened to it in full and we agreed it definitely told a story of anger and using it in some way, shape or form to cover up sadness or regret.
PF is Knocked Loose for people who only like deathcore
Personally i enjoyed Enough? I thought it was interesting and i kind of liked the almost nu metal feel it had. Also love the message think its something thats not discussed enough.

I like it. Not as much as Fear and Dagger or the first 2 eps, but I still enjoyed it
Paleface fucking rules
To me, loudness doesn’t always equal heavy, Phoebe Bridger’s lyrics are extremely heavy
The new MIRAR is vocal-free and the proper length to boot. Try it, yall.
Its interesting but really overproduced and overall just not my cup of tea. But this may be another 'im in the minority' moment because I've seen so many super positive comments and reviews.
@@themetalmeltdownofficialNever change. 20, 000 subs!
It sounds like it was waterboarded@@themetalmeltdownofficial

Can you review Grave's top albums if possible Thank You, and keep up the Awesome work that You do for All of Us MetalHeads 🤘🤘🤘

I’ve only listened to a few of palefaces songs and I haven’t been too impressed by what I’ve heard.
I actually enjoyed this one. My first experience with the band and I can see why people like them. Gives me early slipknot vibes.
Paleface Swiss is a killer band imo. I actually saw them live last year when they opened up for the ghost inside in Chicago. This new album was kind of meh for me. I liked their older stuff more, especially their trilogy albums

Patriarkh definitely the winner this weekend. And thanks for the suggestion, cheers bud.
River of Sorrows should've been what they took farther. Every song ended up sounding like Hatred.
Oh hiiiiiii! Heyyyyyy!!!!!!
I'm watching this video right now! Not a huge Paleface Swiss fan, but I'll check it out. I prefer a good Primitive Man 🤘🤘
Never heard of them, but sounds like I’m not missing out on anything😂
Yes and no. If you're down for old school Slipknot mixed with deathcore then yes. If not, then no.
🔥🔥🔥🤘
I thought this would be bad, but it wasn't too bad. It was fun and silly 3/5
Caveman music I enjoy to listen to when I lift weights. Not something to listen to for anything past primal anger and immaturity
Ehh, there's better stuff to throw on the workout playlist in my opinion. But hey, if it works for you that way, more power to ya.
@ there is plenty better, no argument. I was only saying that’s the only arena where I find it passable
Have not heard it yet but I'll check it out. Your complaints of too much going on is pretty much how I feel when ever I hear lorna shore. I can't stand them it sounds like chaos

It’s not edgy sounding nu metal without ripping off the Blind riff…. (Randomly picked a track and there it was dada dada dada dada lol)
I thought it was a pretty fun album. Not amazing, but at least fun.
More like Paleface Simp
Paleface Swiss sounds like a low energy mumble rapper
This album is a big mess it reminded me of that self titled Suicide Silence album but not as bad as that one. Really corny lyrics sometimes.I had never heard of them until a few weeks ago.
Amazing album however too short and the song Enough is cringey as fuck! For such a short album it offers diversity
The videos on an ad before it’s started. I’m gonna say it didn’t, but I dunno who was hyped for this anyways. They’ve sounded like an early slipknot clone like STPs Kostolom did. Too high, it sucks
Dont understand the hype with this band, totally over the top, nothing subtle at all. Not my thing. Vocals are just laughable
I used to like them but this new album its just cringe and all over the place
Even when theres a good part its just like anything else u heard someone doing already
1/5
