Best tutorial with clear step by step instructions. This video was a time saver and prevented any breakage on removal of parts. Thank you for the video!!!
This is the best video with the details to make sure it is done correctly. It took myself and nephew about an hour. He does not do stuff like this at all. It’s just my sister and I so we have to do a lot on our own. If I can do this then about anyone can.
Great job fellas! Followed along and it worked like a champ! The only other thing that I would recommend to folks is on assembly is pop the trim up around the cup holders as it makes it easier to get the side carpet trim pieces back in place!
Excellent video! Thank you guys. Followed this video and fixed my 2014 SRX in 3 hours. It would be great if you can show people how to unplug those cables behind the screen. I spent 30 minutes on those cables.
Glad it was able to help you. Thanks for letting us know and yes we will try and do a better close up on the plugs. Small flat head screw driver usually comes in handy for them
I watch this video throughly and I want to say thank you. I did it myself as a female and save myself from being charge from the dealership $1000-3000 and locally in Florida $450. Amazing
Great video. Only issue was with putting the ribbon back through the slot. It is very tricky and does not fit well. We tore our first one, had to order another screen. Still much much cheaper than taking it to a shop. Thanks guys!
Hey Anna a common mistake for people is they don't properly connect the ribbon when installing the new screen. I would make sure it is installed correctly and is secure. That typically will get you going. Keep in mind you will still be able to see the screen just fine even if the ribbon isn't secured correctly. Hope this helps
Good video. I did try to put a Cue screen in in a13 srx and got crossed up. Nothing worked and I had 9 screws left. Do you think I can go back and fix it???
Do you stock the screens? I'm in Slidell and sounds and looks like by the LSU Tshirt you are in the Louisiana area. I've been sending customers to Amazon for the screens but would rather shop local if possible.
We have a 2010 SRX with pop up screen but its stuck down. We can hear the gears and I think its off track possibly. It was bought used and never worked. Does the whole unit need to be replaced or can it be put back on track?? I literally can't find anything and some places quote $1500 to fix which seems ridiculous!!
You should not have to reset. More than likely your ribbon is not intake correctly. That is the most common mistake when replacing. Also make sure the back protective film is also removed
Hello friend I have a doubt I hope you can help me. I have a 2004 cadillac srx and it has the original dealership cd case stereo but it is digital with small screen its just orange numbers and letters. Well, my question is the following: I can put an original big screen stereo from the Cadillac SRX agency of the same year in my car. ie can it connect without problems and work properly? I await your response thanks
@@jasonateam Have a 2013 SRX and really appreciate this video. It works and an easy fix to anyone who needs to change the touch cue screen. Thanks again
This video is so helpful. Thank you for posting! I am about to purchase the new screen parts from your website but wanted to check - do you think this will work if my screen is cracked as well as unresponsive? The heat cracked my cue screen in the spiderweb pattern not long after I bought it. Thank you in advance for your help!
this excellent video saved me over $1000.dollars!!!!!

It was the ribbon. It works! Thank you. Your video's the best.@@jasonateam
@@Robin-d2h awesome. Glad it works!
My screen has spider web cracks on the inside. Is the replacement you just installed a double layer? Basically two glass screens back to back.
It is not double layer. However it does go over the actual LCD screen so in essence you do have 2 screens.
My door doesn't open up and the screen is not responding in the center area would that help this door
I’m live in New Orleans, where you located

Unfortunately you won't be able to do that. You can use an aftermarket

Hey thanks for looking the video and yes our screens will work for your cracked screen.
My battery died and I jumped out of my car and when I got back in the screen was black Could that be a fuse problem
Yes that could be a fuse. That is the first thing you should always check
where can i buy the screen?
www.madgrabz.com/product-page/cue-replacement-screen
How can I order a new screen from you?
There is a link in the description and you can also click video when the icon Pops up
I replaced my screen and put it back together and it comes in but none of the touchscreen works
I would check your ribbon connection again. It is very common to make a mistake not securing it in properly when installing.
So stressful
