Police investigating after armed robbery at Annapolis park

Safety concerns are growing at a "quiet" Annapolis park after an armed robbery and car theft. "It was like panic mode when the cops were knocking on the door. That's not something we get," resident Tammy Collins said. Police said the incident took place Thursday morning at Quiet Waters Park at around 9:15 a.m. According to police, two women had parked their vehicles on Hillsmere Drive. They walked across the street and entered the park with their children. While doing so, a young man allegedly approached them from behind.
