- These homemade peanut butter cups taste like Reese's peanut butter cups and they're a lot cheaper plus they're fun and easy to make with the kids.
They're no bake, no cook, no fail. If you want to spend the time, you can shape them to look identical to Reese's.
You can buy the candy cups at Walmart to make them look like miniature Reese's for a penny each.
Ingredients Peanut butter dough:
1 cup - Peanut butter
1 1/3 cups - Powdered sugar
4 tablespoons - Softened real butter
1 teaspoon - Real vanilla
Ingredients for the chocolate dip:
1 cup - Semi - sweet chocolate chips
1 cup - Milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons - Coconut oil or shortening
or
2 cups - Dark melting wafers for candy making and dipping
Ingredients for the drizzle:
1/2 cup - White baking pieces
1/2 tablespoon - Coconut oil or shortening

One hint I learned was... spray your measuring cup with Pam before you measure your peanut butter. It comes out/releases easier.
Thank you for including the written recipe in the description box below!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I have never been able to bake, make candy, etc. this looks like something maybe I could do. Love your videos, your tips, and your character.
Thank you for all your hard work. My son is 44 and I still have to make them for him. Love your show. Love your family. Love your house. Love to hear about the Lord teaches me
Instead of putting the chocolate in the microwave I have been using a small crockpot it keeps a chocolate till you’re finished dipping your candy♥️
I LLLOVE this idea!
Good idea!
me too.
Great idea!
That’s a great idea and if you don’t have a small crockpot you could use an electric popery burner it’s basically the same thing.
Just found this recipe tonight in 2021. Looking forward to asking my husband to help me make these before Christmas 🎄. Prayers appreciated for my recent adenocarcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis. I'm in lots if pain. HUGS and GOD bless us everyone
Putting you on my prayer list.
Prayers for you
Bless your heart prayers for remission and quick healing
Prayers for quick and complete healing! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much 💓.. HUGS and GOD bless everyone
My grandma always made these. When she dipped them, she used toothpicks so there was no mess while removing from your chocolate.☺️☺️☺️
I also use tooth picks.
Great tip! Thanks ❤
Looks great! I add a touch of oil to my measuring cup and smooth it around. Whatever you put in: peanut butter, honey, molasses, whatever, slides out easy.
Great tip, thanks 😊
Thank you for all the great tips and you explain everything making it easy. God bless you…
Good idea, I’ll do that from now on
But then there's nothing to lick?
@@laurahall3094 😅😅🤣❤❤❤
I love your videos. I have cooked for 45 years and am amazed at how much I am still learning from you. I would love to spend a day in the kitchen with you.
Joan Wallace Thank you 😀 We may not get the be together in person but I appreciate you joining me in the Hillbilly kitchen. Stop by anytime!
@@TheHillbillyKitchen are those for meh you shouldn't have 😂
Thank you for this wonderful recipe. My best friend loves peanut butter cups. I'm making him some for his birthday. May God bless y'all always in all ways ✝️🙏😊
Thanks for sharing all the yummy treats, and our Lord's work. I really enjoy watching both.
Glad you like them!
I also have used ¼ cup corn starch powder to keep the peanut butter stiff with out having to add more powdered sugar. Makes the candy less sweet 😋
I want to thank you for all the beautiful recipes that you show and the blessings of God Scripture that you give throughout your show I started watching this in February 2023 so just recently and you have blessed me so much by watching you and knowing that God has gave you so much blessings to bless others thank you and keep up the good work that God is asking of you praise the Lord for nice people like you
I have to tell you that no matter how many vidios I watch every time I see your little granddaughter rolling out the dough with her floury face makes me smile she is soooooooooo cute!
Thank you, sister Becky. I’m making these for Peanut Butter Balls for Christmas time goodies for my family. My hubby is helping and we are enjoying this. We love you and send prayers for you and your family. ✝️❤️🙏
My kids will love these!
Thanks!
You have a sweet gentle spirit that shines through in your video and the prettiest hair.
Bless you!
I used to teach candy making for Wilton. I couldn't have done or explained it better. You always do such a good job...
My heart is in Kentucky since my family roots are there.
In Washington State, (their all Blue,) you dare not say that your a "Hillbilly," though that's what I am at heart. I grew up in a family where I knew all my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. and we spent a lot of time together. So we just said:
"We're , Mountain Williams, y'all."
Thank you...I now know what Im makin in my kitchen for Christmas!
Thanks for this. I will try this with my grandson who loves to help in the kitchen.
Thank you so very much 💓. I know something good is going to happen today in Jesus name amen 🙏. Hugs
Hi Becky. Those look so delicious. So simple to make yet they look like they took you all day in the kitchen. LOL. Wonderful video. :)
+Lila Arce Thank you :) They are really easy and the cups make them look really fancy
These look great. I made your Two Ingredient Fudge with my quilting student today. She's 10 and loves chocolate like I do. Just as you said, the bowl didn't get hot, and in a little over an hour WE were eating delicious fudge. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
Yum! I'm making these with my grandkids for Christmas. Thank you.
I would love to hear you read children's books. Your voice is so smooth and you're accent is lovely. Plus I love your baking! 😁
A trick I use when dipping peanut butter balls is to use a toothpick. I put a whole pecan on top to cover the toothpick hole!
That sounds better yet. Do you roast the pecans?
Or you could add a chocolate/white chip also, or any other little candy garnish.
So amazing. Becky, you are such an amazing cook/educator/good human! Thank you for all you are to me and others!
Thank you so much for your kind words. God bless you!
The candies look store bought, it's good seeing how you make them. I never tried to make Peanut Butter cups before, but will try.
I always mix powdered sugar in my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. You can put a towel over it when you start to mix if you're concerned about a mess.
Yes!!! Now your bringing back Met. My momma's. Oh Mercy my parents are in heaven How I miss them both
Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for all of these wonderful tutorial's.
I love buckeyes. My mom made them each Christmas and gave every family she knew a tray. 💕
Had to come back for this scrumptious treat..thank you Miss Becky...crave these little cups of happiness!
I love these!!! Great for neighborhood friends!! Thank you
This is similar to our no bake PB fudge. My kids baby sitter made it for my kids close to 30 years ago. She used 1 & 1/4 stick of butter, 1 pound of confectionery sugar, 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix it up, press it into a 9X13 pan, slice it, and put it in the fridge. I use the same recipe for making buckeyes ( I'm from OH the buckeye state ). I can't wait to try your recipe, and I can't believe I don't have one of those cookie baller thingamajigs. You are so natural on camera; it's just like coming over for a visit. Thank you so much!!!
+Grandma Patty Thank you! You are very kind. Stop by for a visit anytime :) You can pick up one of them scoopers at Walmart for about $7. I have had several and I like that one pretty good. It seems like it is going to hold up for a while. Thank you for subscribing. God Bless You and Your Family!!!

Hi Hillbilly Kitchen, thank you for the recipe...I am going to make them for my friend as a "thank you"...I was a resident in Murfreesboro TN many moons ago...my favorite country, my absolute favorite state..greetings from Germany and God bless all of you ♥️🙏
I've been making these for years! I sift my powdered sugar, makes them creamier!!
Becky - my husband is a peanut butter addict. He saw me watching this video and he watched it with me and I guess I’m going to make these in few days.
Thanks for your recipe!
I always use the cheaper brands of peanut butter. They are usually a little oiler, and give the sugar that much more taste.
Like the house brands?😎
Such a yummy treat! Thanks for sharing!
I line this recipe.i will be making this for Christmas! Thank you

I just found your channel...and I love it! I subscribed right off the bat! I remember making this recipe in my old high school days, in culinary class. We actually added some very fine crushed graham crackers to the peanut butter, but that's the only part I could remember about making these. Glad to have ran into your channel, so i can make some more of these again! Thanks!

Great recipe. Thanks. My mom always m are peanutbutter balls for Christmas.
Love this ❤️
Try adding Rice Krispies or corn flakes to the peanut butter batter. Delicious!
(You can cut back the sugar when you do this, and the calories) 😉
I always use walnuts, chopped real fine.
Thankyou. Gona try them. Love peanut butter! 😃
Love these
Heavenly!!
rather than adding more sugar to get the right consistency, add powdered milk. It won't change the flavor, just makes the peanut butter mixture a little stiffer.
Awesome- a perfect, fun recipe to make with my little ones for the holidays!!
Tks!!! I gotvto make some for my grand kids for Christmas.
