Unleashing the Mk5 Supra's B58 roar with a Supersprint OPF Delete Exhaust

- In Europe all new cars come with an OPF fitted to the exhaust, an extra emissions filter that not only stops more bad stuff getting in to the environment, but also makes the car quieter and less powerful than its US spec equivalent.
Unhappy with this our friends at Supersprint saved the day with a brand new full Supersprint exhaust for our A90 Supra! In this video we put on the catback section of the exhaust, which also deletes the OPF on our Euro spec car.

120mm tips yet like a 90mm internal actual outlet.
Sounds awesome! Fell off my chair at the price though. I bought a similar system for my old BMW 335i including downpipes for less than a grand. I guess I will be staying stock.
Maybe use some of the money for a more supportive chair, look after your spine Andrew!

Must say Supersprint sound well under load
Shot in the dark question , apparently the turbo manifold is intergrated in the head with small outlet ports , will it be a waste adding a bigger turbo if the flow is restricted ie cfms etc? Also because the head port design, I don’t think these will get that much louder?
People already getting good results from bigger turbos so doesn't seem likes it restrictive.

If you had to have 1 with actual suspension, power mods and styling out of the N55 M2, M2 Comp and Supra what would it be??

No plans to do anything, the aftermarket has more than covered that model!
Imran, do you know wether the Supra stock exhaust tips would fit a stock M140i backbox? I’m trying to find replacement tips which won’t need welding/cutting of the backbox to fit, and it’s hard find ones that don’t stick out like a wheel barrow! Thanks.

Get some replica m performance carbon tips from eBay, cost about £40 a piece, they just slide over and clamp on. Just make sure you get the shorter ones as the longer ones mean you have to cut of the little metal pins that stick out for a guide for the stock tips.
Although if you get the short ones, you can see the bolt that clamps them on from the side, if that would bother you just get longer ones and trim of the metal pin with a multi tool or a grinder.

That intake that you added on has a carbon fiber airbox?? That carbon fiber airbox case looks nice!!
The entire intake is made from Carbon Fibre, it’s an Eventuri intake, our sister company.
@@EvolveAutomotive That airbox looks badass! I wish I would have saw this video a week ago. Do you just sell the airbox? I already ordered my intake from MST so I technically don't need a new airbox, HOWEVER I would definitely consider getting that airbox in the future.
I have already seen the carbon fiber engine cover before, and I plan on getting one in the future.
The intake was released fairly recently, debuted at SEMA last year. The intake comes as an entire system, it is not sold as individual parts as it has been designed as one complete product to provide actual performance gains.
You’ll definitely want some form of box sealing your intake, the Supra engine bay gets hot! And there isn’t much cold air making its way in. We’ll have a much indepth detailed video on the intake coming soon.
What’s your thoughts on the Supra compared to a stock M2 or M2C?

Were there no engine warning lights from removing the OPF?
The lights didn’t come on straight away, but decat EML would sometimes come on after a few hundred miles and we have now tuned the car with the OPF code deleted.
Is opf deletion legal? Will it be mot passable in the future please?

Hm. Soundwise I prefer stock sound. Unless your microphone has poor sensitivity.
I don't know most people are saying it sounds nice even on UA-cam but it's personal preference of course

And this supra is not supposed to feel or imitate big na engine. At least is what I think.
But again since you are making a product it has to follow what is currently popular.
Still I think it would be nice if exhausts were able to copy f1 v10 sound from the late 90's, dont you?
Would be one hell of an exhaust to be able to completely change how an engine sounds!
