Is this Grado's BEST headphone? (Grado SR325-x Review)

- Hey so Grado! Welcome to my first headphone review video I guess! Grado has a dicey reputation in the audio community. Their headphones seem to only appeal to a certain type of person, and a lot of other hardcore audiophiles are quick to call them overrated. So when I heard about a Grado headphone that breaks away from the company's reputation, I had to try it out. This is the first of (hopefully) many more audio videos on this channel. Enjoy!
I know this video is a bit of a departure from my previous content. Here's a link to the video where I explain everything.

I just got a pair today can’t wait to try it this week. Great and funny video. Made it very fun 😊
Hey, great first headphones review. I like how in depth you went with explaining your experience in using the Grados.
Keep it up, and I hope to see more in the future.
Using Grados is pain but it's good pain
Thank you for curing me of my Grado-curiosity.
Pick up some sr60x, get some g pads. Welcome to the world of grado... There's a lot of songs my sr60x do much better than my hifiman editions xs. Videogame perfection. Great for plugging into your phone. Awesome headphones. The sr325x is better yes fs but I honestly don't think most people would be disappointed with the 60s. They are fun and different
The sr60x is gonna be more comfortable than the 325x because it's lighter. Though I wouldn't say it's comfy, just more tolerable than the 325 lol. I love my Grados but using them sucks LOL.
The thing is if you do buy headphones and if they're not comfortable you'll have to modify it but modifying costs more money
Yea it's pretty unfortunate and something I'll admit I failed to mention in the video. The good news for Grado X series headphones is a lot of mods to improve the comfort are pretty cheap and easy. Greekia G pads are like 15 bucks, and the Dekoni pads I added to the headband were like 25. So if you wanna add the mods that I did it'll add another 40 US dollars to the cost. Which isn't too bad but 40 bucks is a considerable amount of money.
My rs1x gives me eargasm but the cable!! It's a rope for rock climbing!!
a clothes iron cord :(
Honestly I kinda like it. It's not removable but at least it's quality. I've got headphones that cost way more and they came with complete shit cables albeit removable.
@@chancemackey7100 I gotta disagree. While they're very durable, I've actually had issues with audio (likely as a direct result of the stiffness of the cables). I'd much rather have the cable that comes with the SR60x and SR80x because *those* are actually quite good and don't create such a problem with the weight difference being inconvenient and potentially dangerous.
They don't need redemption, all their headphones have superior sound to all the overrated crap from other brands. The SR325x are ok, but the e series was even better.
audio is subjective
The Grado e series tend to have a love it or hate it kinda sound. They have a lot of treble and some people really like that sparkly sound profile. Others find it pretty harsh and not very palatable and I'm kind of in the latter camp.
