I’m surprised that nobody’s brought this up but given the spike in Covid cases is it really wise for a team to trade not just it’s future but it’s bench depth NOW, especially when two of the Nets three stars don’t seem to take social distancing all that seriously?
The only series harden should have won was 2014 vs portland and 2017 vs San Antonio. Other than that, they lost to the KD Thunder, the warriors, and the lakers. Nobody was expecting him to beat those 3 teams so I think it was a success overall.
Personally the 2017-2018 rockets was the perfect balance to harden iso/play making and then the addition of clutch cp3 and ofc is playmaking ability. The 2018-2019 year cp3/ Eric Gordon/ capela missed so many games that harden got used to iso/hero ball/ball hog that by the time everyone came back healthy, that perfect balance was long gone.
