    Awesome! Holding L sit for 30 sec and I thought that V is only an ab thing, but flexibility is of importance also, thank you for the vid!

      Awesome. Happy you found it useful. I can’t say exactly, it’s not been constant training for it, I’ve had many different periods of training for the V-sit.

    Awesome tutorial!! How many v-sit tuck walks should I do? And how long will I have to practice until I'm able to do the V-sit if I do the exercises three times a week?

    Awesome video Sid. Really enjoy the videos you are making very informative and to the point. Makes for some good learning. V-sit has been a goal of mine for a while now but I ventured off into flexibility once I worked on my pike and got lost doing leg mobility. Maybe it's time to work on compression and strength movements again! Keep it up!

      I would aim for 1-2 sessions per week of compression strength.

    've got the L sit from floor for about 30 seconds before I start shaking like an earthquake, so figure i can spice things up w/ the v sit....gonna be doing the flexibility and compression circuit for a while

      Yeah you can do that too. It’s more dynamic, so it will be more flexibility focused.

    I'm new to calisthenics and gymnastics and need to buy paralettes. Could you please tell me which one you used in this video, or the diameter and length of the pole so that I can make my own? I have parallel bars, but need something close to the ground for handstand progressions etc...

    I didn't know that the L sit was in a retraction of the scapulas I thought that you suppose to use Protraction and Hollow body, can you tell me what's the difference between those two?

      when you retract its what they call an advance L- sit or a perfect one you push your chest out and retract your scapula a protraction is fine but its easyer that way

    Hello 🤝 I am kind of trapped. My gymnastics coach gave me a lot of different exercises to achieve the "high angle" element. Over the course of 2 months, the number of repetitions has not increased even once, that is, not at all. Please tell me, should I ignore the number, continue training, is the number not a criterion in my case?

      I think the duration of the holds are less important. Generally I believe in shorter holder (5-10 seconds) simply because it’s such an intensive movement. It’s hard to progress the difficulty with too long holds.

      I do dynamic stretches before the workout, and more thorough passive/loaded/active stretching after the workout.

      Depends! I like to focus on retraction in the V-sit because of the transferability to the Manna! It just focusing on the V-sit I would do protracted!:)

    I can hold it for maybe 10 seconds, with my legs in about a 55 degree position.
    So yeah, that's why I'm here 😅

      I think it will works with girl cause i have saw a woman do a v-sit,so yeah it will works but it will take longer time for girls to achieve this compare to men

      This works perfectly well for girls. Yes guys and girls can have different muscle compositions.. But this doesn't really change anything, the process is still the same to learn skills like these.

      I would focus on shorter holds for the V-Sit. It's a very intensive skill, and so i have found that longer holds are not as effective. I would hold it for 10-15 seconds at most.
