We loaded a pair of beautiful horses at MSP a few weeks ago heading to MEM for final destination HNL. The care they receive while in our system is amazing.
Pete! What a day, i laughed out loud when you had to re-setup the flight deck on the opposite 76.... savage. Just when you thought nothing else could go wrong! Positive mindset for the win tho. Keep going with the vlog, it gets better each time. Aspiring cargo pilot in training here - I appreciate the work you put in to do these, it helps keep me motivated to get in that righ-hand seat.
I’ve been watching you for a long time. I think this is the first time I’ve heard you being annoyed. I’m an addictions therapist in the UK. When my company shafts you they do it well. Doesn’t happen often thankfully. Thanks for another brilliant vlog.
Thank you for Sharing the bad day too. Social Media is full of Crafted Hyper Positive Content. But seeing you being positive even on a bad day makes me more motivated for the Exam I gotta study for tomm. Pilot Pete Vlogs Are EPIC!
Bro I've been to sunrise multiple times. Those pancakes are so huge. I can't even finish them. I end up taking what i have left home, but may i suggest something. If you enjoyed sunrise, I recommend you try Big bad breakfast further down poplar. They have a huge sausage egg and cheese biscuit that I really enjoy.
I don't know if you're a coffee drinker or not, but that "Royal Cup" (the truck that went by you as you were speaking at 29:14) is outstandingly good!!! easily the best that I have ever had. Stick in there, sir.
Look at what happened as a way for you to adapt to different circumstances concerning the company you work for. The company is about the company they will put you where they need you to be not what you want. Just like the times I had to stay over running oilfield boats because I was needed because I had no relief but I handled it. Safe travels and God Bless You!
I’m not an airline pilot, and I don’t work for an airline. But based on the information I’ve gleaned from aviation content creators who are pilots at airlines, how they explain the industry, and the responsibilities of the captain, first officer, & relief pilot(if there’s a relief pilot) while in a sterile cockpit. I state with strong confidence that the captain of the a350 will be found at fault for the incident in some capacity. Whether it’s completely his/her fault, or whether they are found partially at fault with the captain of the CRJ would depend on the rules for where the CRJ was supposed to hold short, and whether or not the held short early from the designated position ATC told them to hold short of or not. Something else to consider would be whether or not Delta allows their first officers to taxi aircraft, & if it was the first officers turn to taxi. Then there’s also the possibility for the a350 first officers to be found partially liable aswell. That however does not change the fact that the captain maintains full control of the aircraft the entire time they are sitting in the left seat even if it’s the first officers controls, so the captain would still be found liable in this scenario. I think(and this depends again on faa regulations, deltas company policies, and ATL’s rules for taxi’ing) that there’s a strong case in favor of the CRJ crew to not be found liable at all because the aircraft was completely stationary during the incident. So I hope for their case that turns out to be true. I hope you found this short and helpful 😂
If the scheduling issue is not a normal thing (40%+), it could be worse, and the extra miles is better than shorting miles and still having to pay for a room. Last week, my 1st trip, blew a trailer tire (2.5hr breakdown), then finished the week with a tractor tire blowing on my last trip (4hr breakdown). Aviation new in my world, just stalled waiting to find a DPE for my private. It’s discouraging. Take care y’all, and good luck with the marathon.
@@pilotpetefly I think it’s the PHX market, but will give it a shot. I have 2 numbers, only made 2 way coms with 1 who is an airline pilot primarily. My CFI been going through his Rolodex as well. Starting to wonder if a 141 might be worth the 2nd look.
FSD is SOUTH DAKOTA!! I went to school up there… beautiful place, small airport (Joe Foss Field) but it actually is big enough that we hosted Air Force One when George W. Bush was president.
Sorry the crew scheduling Gods did not smile on you😢 Also sorry about the Mets (NOT). I'll be watching the game today. I'm thinking Yankees Dodgers! Go Dodgers 😅
@@pilotpetefly to each their own. I prefer my money to stay in my wallet. NYC is like CA. How can anyone even afford to live there anymore? I’m sure the rent is around 50% of ur income.

Thank you for sharing your trip.😊 I am glad you had a bedroom space given to to you by another pilot there in the Memphis Base.
Thanks for watching!
You are welcome. ☺
Very smart of you to stop your aircraft
safety first!

Over in NYC (from the UK) for work and on the look out for my boy Pilot Pete! Beers?! Kinda cool being in the city when your video drops
Ayyy welcome, best city in the world! Say hi if you see me!
Yay for City Silo! I knew it would be "Pete approved." :)

Yep, well said. Same to you!
Your bad day for most US airline pilots is a normal day. An out and back is still good, and you're on the 767 which sure beats the 737 or Delaybus!!!
hahaha this is true. great point!
Great video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
I feel your pain and frustration. After 21 years of ATC, I got permanently med dq'd.
Darn, sorry to hear that
Ah, well you could have said your special passenger said "Neigh!" to the opportunity to be on camera :) .
hahaha 🐴
Good video.. you had a lot of schedule changes but I guess that happens with pilots..
Thanks !
Is the hotel on you because Memphis is your base?
Stuck as a pilot on a 767, WOW!!! You could always be an uber driver! Be thankful you're flying!
I am!
So the recent Delta A350 incident with a Delta CRJ jet, in Altalnta, all pilots responsibilities? And which ones, the ones from the A350?

A350 pilots
When you were jump seating did I see a heads-up display? If so what FedEx aircraft have those?
Yep! CA seat has HUD
that's some scary sh*t Pilot Pete. I don't know how you guys do it.
Which part?
Here is an idea to hide your breaker box. Place a picture over it.
Haha I don’t mind it
im in lift academy love seeing when you come to indy
ayyy IND!! Good luck with training!

oh no, that does not sound fun. darn, sticks about DPE. Call FSDO and maybe they can get you someone quicker?

How many times have you flown in the past when you were on the bachelorette on charity’s season
I don’t fly when I was on the show filming
@@pilotpetefly oh ok
He asked the horse to be on the vlog but she said “neigh”.
HAHAHAHA
you ate all those jalapenos!

Oh my Gosh! Pilots are different
Hey bro how are you 😎👍

yep, I have a place in both spots. Just couldnt use MEM one currently
😂😂 next Michael Phelps?
Some say yes!
Hi Pete, I'm only 5'11, is this an okay height to become an airline pilot?
Yes
Why would you blow through your salary with renting in NYC?? You could save more by living in the EWR area
