I need to clarify this about the "cut" characters, DK, Silver, Jet and Birdo were the only characters who were actually meant to be playable, they are listed on the scoreboards by name and have proper animations for the events (except Birdo since she's the least complete) while everyone were only meant to be background characters as the have no real animations for events and are listed on the scoreboards as a Guest Mii.
