I haven’t played all off them so I’ll just rank the games I have: S mario & sonic at the london 2012 Olympic Games wii, mario & sonic at the Sochi 2014 winter Olympic Games A Mario & sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games B mario & sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games C mario & sonic at the Olympic Games (2008)
My fav’s will always be Sochi 2014 and london 2012, they were my first of the series and I love em to bits. Also I think Sochi is underrated why do most people dislike it?
My Ranked: 6. Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games 5. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Beijing 2008 4. Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games 3. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 2. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010 1. Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
I literally grew up with the 2012 London Games, such an elite game. I also adore the 2010 winter games (mainly for the side games, THEY ARE SO GOOD). Rlly disappointed with the 2020 games, only got it for the online mode but no one is ever online for it (even the discord server for it is dry), waste of 50 quid tbh. the dream running event thing in 2008 ( 3:45 ) is so good and should of added it to the other games.
Bro ngl, the best part for me about the 2010 one was the shop center that you could go to. Freaking amazing little town and to this day I'm still trying to paint a landscape of it!
I’ve played every game in the franchise, except Wii 2008, and for the most part, I love these games! It felt so awesome to play as Mario & Sonic characters at the Olympics! Side note; the first game I got was DS 2008 & it’s actually the game that introduced me to Sonic; I mainly got the game because I saw Mario & as a kid, Mario was an obsession! If it wasn’t for this spin-off franchise & Super Smash Bros Brawl, I wouldn’t be the gamer I am today! Also, here’s my ranking for all the games: 10. Sochi 2014 9. Rio 2016 (Wii U) 8. Beijing 2008 (Wii) 7. Tokyo 2020 6. Beijing 2008 (DS) 5. Vancouver 2010 (Wii) 4. London 2012 (3DS) 3. Rio 2016 (3DS) 2. London 2012 (Wii) 1. Vancouver 2010 (DS)
@@n.k8557 Well personally, I enjoy DS 2010 more because not only do I like several of the events in the game more than the Wii, but also it has, in my opinion, the best story mode of the series.
I really agree with alot of you opinions on this franchise, I actually thought at the time 2008 was great for its time and would have put it higher, other than that, really nice work and I love your attitude
11:30 there is ONE thing actually: there is an INSANE amount of lag for multiplayer events that involved split screen. but yeah other than that like you 2010 is my favorite as well
Honestly, I don’t care what people say about this series, I have enjoyed all the games besides The 2014 winter games and I really love this series too but I do understand why people may get tired of this series but I still love it
Personally, I would switch the #3 and #2 spots. Rio is A LOT of fun, but with no dream events, and so few Olympic events, there's just not enough of it to truly be enjoyable!
The only game in this series that I've played was the DS version of Winter 2010, and it easily ranks as one of my favorite DS games of all time, up there with the Gen 4 and 5 Pokemon games.
I completely agree with the list, but I would personally swap Sochi 2014 and Beijing 2008. In my opinion, Sochi wasn't as bad as people say it is but it's definitely not as good as the ones above it (coming from a wr holder of the game)
Here's my own ranking of every Mario and Sonic game from worst to best #10: Mario and Sonic: Bejing 2008 (DS version) #9: Mario and Sonic Vancouver 2010 (DS version) #8: Mario and Sonic Bejing 2008 (Wii version) #7: Mario and Sonic Rio 2016 (3DS version) #6: Mario and Sonic Sochi 2014 #5: Mario and Sonic Rio 2016 (Wii U version) #4: Mario and Sonic Tokyo 2020 #3: Mario and Sonic London 2012 (3DS version) #2: (or 1) Mario and Sonic Vancouver 2010 #1: (or 2) Mario and Sonic London 2012
I only played the original on the wii, and the winter games on ds. Super nostalgic for the winter games on ds, especially the single player campaign there.
12:03 this isnt the first time there was an olympic game on mobile with just sonic the first two game have those as well 12:14 mario already had a sports game way before the olympic so no the series isnt done
Funnily enough, I have both the worst and best portable games you mentioned, but I've never tried the console versions. I wish you had talked about them more because the 2008 portable game makes my blood boil. Nostalgia made me play it again and fencing is so weird, feels clunky as hell
I only played two of the Mario & Sonic games which are the 2014 one and the 2020 one and I seriously don’t get the hate for 2014. The game has amazing Dream Events which are 90% of the fun in a Mario & Sonic game while 2020 was boring and uninteresting.
To everyone who likes 2016 more than 2012, youre lying. 2012 was so good that 2016 literally stole the same events "word for word, bar for bar" from 2012 on the 3DS. 2010 is goated on both Wii and Ds
Thanks so much for watching everyone! which is your favourite games in the series?
I haven’t played all off them so I’ll just rank the games I have:
S mario & sonic at the london 2012 Olympic Games wii, mario & sonic at the Sochi 2014 winter Olympic Games
A Mario & sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games
B mario & sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games
C mario & sonic at the Olympic Games (2008)
My favorite is 2010 - 2012
I agree with you on 2010 being #1
My fav’s will always be Sochi 2014 and london 2012, they were my first of the series and I love em to bits. Also I think Sochi is underrated why do most people dislike it?
London 2012
Also the cinematic of Vancouver 2010 on Wii was a hell of a masterpiece
My Ranked:
6. Mario and Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
5. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Beijing 2008
4. Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games
3. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
2. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010
1. Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games
I literally grew up with the 2012 London Games, such an elite game. I also adore the 2010 winter games (mainly for the side games, THEY ARE SO GOOD). Only game I haven't played is the 2014 winter games, probably will never buy it lol
Bro ngl, the best part for me about the 2010 one was the shop center that you could go to. Freaking amazing little town and to this day I'm still trying to paint a landscape of it!

Also, here’s my ranking for all the games:
10. Sochi 2014
9. Rio 2016 (Wii U)
8. Beijing 2008 (Wii)
7. Tokyo 2020
6. Beijing 2008 (DS)
5. Vancouver 2010 (Wii)
4. London 2012 (3DS)
3. Rio 2016 (3DS)
2. London 2012 (Wii)
1. Vancouver 2010 (DS)
I'm the same case. I don't have the game, but I have played it. And 2008... It was good. But it was hard to get the hang of.
Why is Vancouver DS ranked #1 while Wii is #5, both should be switched.
@@n.k8557 Well personally, I enjoy DS 2010 more because not only do I like several of the events in the game more than the Wii, but also it has, in my opinion, the best story mode of the series.
yeah, vancouver 2010 had a fire story mode, i used to love it as a kid
2016 is the best one, by a landslide. 2010 slaps tho
If that’s true I’m getting it
You like it cause you played it for long time i guess but i played all mario and sonic for me it’s the 2nd worst mario and sonic
@@faisalmahir7998 what’s the worst
nah 2012 is the best but i like 2016 as well
3ds or Wii U version?
I don't care what anybody says, sochi 2014 is one of my favorites, as well as 2016, (Yes I grew up with a Wii U)
Nice! I also grew up with a wii u :D
I really agree with alot of you opinions on this franchise, I actually thought at the time 2008 was great for its time and would have put it higher, other than that, really nice work and I love your attitude
11:30 there is ONE thing actually: there is an INSANE amount of lag for multiplayer events that involved split screen. but yeah other than that like you 2010 is my favorite as well
I kinda like 2008, its got that dated yet enjoyable level of nostalgia to it, but 2010 and 2016 are tied for my fav
Finally someone made a video on this
funny how IMO the Wii U had both the worst (2014) and the best (2016) installments
All i want to see for the next installment is guest characters being available in every event
My rank
6. Winter olympics 2014
5. Olympics 2008
4. Olympics 2020
3. Olympics 2016
2. Winter Olympics 2010
1. Olympics 2012
I honestly agree with number 1. it was a game of my childhood. i STILL love it!
Honestly, I don’t care what people say about this series, I have enjoyed all the games besides The 2014 winter games and I really love this series too but I do understand why people may get tired of this series but I still love it
2012 is the best one yet
In my opinion London 2012 is the best because it has the most responsive motion controls
YES AGREED
Same. I remember I literally spent like seven hours straight playing most of my favorite dream events.
i agee extremely heavily , nothing was better imo than 2010
Personally, I would switch the #3 and #2 spots. Rio is A LOT of fun, but with no dream events, and so few Olympic events, there's just not enough of it to truly be enjoyable!
No thoughts, Head empty, Love the 2016 installment or suffer the wrath of Jerry Smith
2012 was the best
Someone in Nintendo and Sega boardroom said for Mario and Sonic first crossover game they compete in the Olympics
The only game in this series that I've played was the DS version of Winter 2010, and it easily ranks as one of my favorite DS games of all time, up there with the Gen 4 and 5 Pokemon games.
Great vid thanks
my favorite is 2012 with 2008 right behind it, sorry nostalgia blinds me
I completely agree with the list, but I would personally swap Sochi 2014 and Beijing 2008. In my opinion, Sochi wasn't as bad as people say it is but it's definitely not as good as the ones above it (coming from a wr holder of the game)
I have to 2014 winter and I loved it
I have mario and sonic at the olympic winter games for the wii but it doesn't read it due to being scratched
Bro I loved Sochi, the story mode kinda sucked but really enjoyed all the events in it
Here's my own ranking of every Mario and Sonic game from worst to best
#10: Mario and Sonic: Bejing 2008 (DS version)
#9: Mario and Sonic Vancouver 2010 (DS version)
#8: Mario and Sonic Bejing 2008 (Wii version)
#7: Mario and Sonic Rio 2016 (3DS version)
#6: Mario and Sonic Sochi 2014
#5: Mario and Sonic Rio 2016 (Wii U version)
#4: Mario and Sonic Tokyo 2020
#3: Mario and Sonic London 2012 (3DS version)
#2: (or 1) Mario and Sonic Vancouver 2010
#1: (or 2) Mario and Sonic London 2012
I can kinda agree, but I think I'd change top 3 to this: rio, Vancouver, london
Would get 2016 on my Wii U if it wasn’t so expensive it’s by far the best I had it on my 3ds was so good
I couldn't agree more with your list. Mario and Sonic at the olympic winter games vancouver 2010 is the best in the saga
Here, my ranked
1. London 2012
2. Winter 2010
3. Tokyo 2020
4. Sochi 2014
5. Rio 2016
6. Olympics 2008
I only played the original on the wii, and the winter games on ds. Super nostalgic for the winter games on ds, especially the single player campaign there.
12:03 this isnt the first time there was an olympic game on mobile with just sonic the first two game have those as well
12:14 mario already had a sports game way before the olympic
so no the series isnt done
Me watching this video weeks after they confirmed that there would be no more Mario and Sonic Olympic games:
Disappointing that they cancelled it, but I plan to make a video talking about the series again in the future!
Actually, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games 2008 for Wii came out in late 2007 for some reason.
They all came out technically in the last quarter of the year before as far as I remember
Rio and Tokyo I'd love it
I still say 2020 is the worst one, 2014 at least had some fun dream events, 2020 is just bland
I don’t get the hate for 2014. It actually had really fun dream events and it was the last game to have them.
my favorite is 2014 its what i always play
Funnily enough, I have both the worst and best portable games you mentioned, but I've never tried the console versions. I wish you had talked about them more because the 2008 portable game makes my blood boil. Nostalgia made me play it again and fencing is so weird, feels clunky as hell
Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games 2008 and Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games 2010.
I heard the reason why the series was cancelled was because of NFTs.
2010 ds is my childhood game
2012 is better in my opinion rio is ok
2008 Beijing was my favorite DS
I only played two of the Mario & Sonic games which are the 2014 one and the 2020 one and I seriously don’t get the hate for 2014. The game has amazing Dream Events which are 90% of the fun in a Mario & Sonic game while 2020 was boring and uninteresting.
Winter Olympic is my fav
Switch and Winter Wii U version is bad but all the others are good or decent
To everyone who likes 2016 more than 2012, youre lying. 2012 was so good that 2016 literally stole the same events "word for word, bar for bar" from 2012 on the 3DS. 2010 is goated on both Wii and Ds
London 2012 is number 1 for me
2012 was the best, change my mind.
2016 is obviously the best!
2020 is the Best
Rio over London, wtf?
Sochi wasn’t that bad imo, if anything the worst one was Beijing Wii
