I will be joining a lodge soon and what I would like to know is, does freemasonry exclude racism? I’ve seen some Lodges with only dark skinned members and some with only white skinned members. I for one am not racist.

If the answer is yes I wouldn't join freemasonry just because of this. But my question is this. If I was a dedicated freemason. And if something happened at my job where I ended up losing my job for whatever reason. Would the freemasons help me in any way to get the right connections to get another job somewhere else? My dad is a Mason. Has been all my life. He wants me to joine but he doesn't ask it lightly and never has. All I know is what he has told me which is not much and I respect the fraternity too much to ask too many details but I must admit I'm so interested to find out I almost can't help myself. I've ask this question to many masons but I never get an answer of real clarity and that is.... Why seek masonry and how can the masonic order affiliation enlighten me more than CHRIST? It was He who said feed the hungry, cloth the naked and care for the widowers and elderly so how can I with a straight face give that credit to this organization?? So you still call it a religion even though they don't teach you how to worship except To devote 1/3 of your day to reading scripture?.... I was thinking that you believe in something that exists, but you havent seen it, for example i believe to someone i call They, just simple They. Healthy mind is important.. If the answer is yes I wouldn't join freemasonry just because of this. But my question is this. If I was a dedicated freemason. And if something happened at my job where I ended up losing my job for whatever reason. Would the freemasons help me in any way to get the right connections to get another job somewhere else?

I've ask this question to many masons but I never get an answer of real clarity and that is.... Why seek masonry and how can the masonic order affiliation enlighten me more than CHRIST? It was He who said feed the hungry, cloth the naked and care for the widowers and elderly so how can I with a straight face give that credit to this organization?? Why is it that I have to be initiated into the masonic order when JESUS freely gives life saving information to make us better people. I don't believe lower level masons truly understand the upper levels of this order.
