    Now that I know my Kala comes from Petaluma which is near my hometown I will cherish it that much more!!

    Wow! with the pandemic and supply issues from Asia I bet Mike is VERY happy he staarted elite production in the USA! I have a KALA spruce top tenor and I am pleased. I am going to build my next uke. We need to get more great musical instruments made in the USA again! Thank you KALA.

    just bought an LTP"MH at Arthrtd in Indy , great uke well made and sonic it was nice to see how my ukulele was built and who did it....thanks guys!

    I love my Kala soprano!! So proud it’s made in the Bayarea. My next aim is a Kala pineapple concert. More power to you guys!! Enjoyed this video very much.

    It’s end June 2020 and I just cannot get a Ukulele! Was looking through a couple of sites and came across this video. Would love to get a Kala from you guys.
    I’m from India though, will need to figure out how & when.

    Hi Sir Mike Upton! I have this Kala “Ka-SSTU-S” the smallest, but sounds great!
    Can i have your recommendation on w/c best product of attachable pick-up i can use for this just in case i want to plug it on some amplifiers?

    Wow! I’m practically next door in Stockton, although I’m probably gonna buy from a KALA dealer in Murphy’s California. It’s interesting you mentioned Taylor guitars. I have one of their travel guitars that sounds better than anything I’ve ever played. Can’t wait to get an extra nice uke!

      I think Taylor started the UV coating so they learned how from the originators.

    Couple of questions. Is there any way to tell, by the model/serial number, when a particular ukulele was build and if not, why not?

    I have a kala it only cost me a 100 bucks and it sounds decent.
