    Hey guys, sorry for the lack of videos lately, I've been working on my photography quite a bit as of late. I've gotten a few requests for a tutorial on how I do my motorcycle photos, so I've thrown together a quick and basic one.
    BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF A DSLR AND PHOTOSHOP IS REQUIRED.
    Tools:
    DSLR Camera
    LED Light with Softbox
    Wireless Remote
    Tripod
    Photoshop
    Camera Settings:
    ISO 100
    F16
    Exposure @ 10 sec
    50mm

    Couple of things people might wanna do differently;
    I put all my images into the one window first rather than putting one after the other after having worked on them
    and secondly I do that so I can align my photos which most people should do as well considering we can't ALL have nice tripods... lookin' at you buddy.

      +Empty 09 Yup, photoshop has an auto align feature if you stick them all in at once. Quite handy.

    Such a great idean and an impressive result for something that is so simple (in theory at least). I'll give that a try soon.

    Nice Video! How is the name of the softbox / light you used in the video? I'm searching for a softbox which has battery.
    Sorry for my bad english. :D

    • @iamamirfilmwerks
      @iamamirfilmwerks  8 років тому

      +MoPayti Hey mate, it's just a 50cm x 70cm softbox. You can pick them up pretty cheap of ebay.

    You mentioned that the soft box is fitted with LED lights. Any info on that please?

    • @iamamirfilmwerks
      @iamamirfilmwerks  8 років тому

      +stephen spiteri It's just a 124 LED Light panel for DSLR video, rated at about 10W i think. I stuck it inside the softbox using velcro. Search Ebay for "DSLR LED Light panel", I do recommend getting one that's 8W or more.

      +iamamir filmwerks thanks for your quick reply mate. Have you got a link to your motorcycle pics? I do panning shots mostly but am looking with great interest to your work on doing some different static shots as well.

      @iamamirfilmwerks  8 років тому

      +stephen spiteri There's quite a few examples of that technique on my website... www.iamamir.com

    Nice work though it could have been a bit more interesting an image with something in the blackness poking through...

    • @iamamirfilmwerks
      @iamamirfilmwerks  7 років тому

      Yeah, true, but this was more of a video about the technique for lighting the bike though. In saying that, I probably should redo it with something a little nicer.
