Congratulations on the completion of your hike. Because you weren't hiking with many of the time and logistical restrictions of thru-hikers, you could focus on many more details along the way, and that is very apparent in your videos. They were an absolute joy to watch.
    Thank you.
So ... um ... when will Section B appear on the radar ... ???
    😅

Congratulations 👏 beautiful Section A descriptive videos. We just finished miles 52 to 77. I hate to say I had a meltdown from 68 to 77 😢 I don’t know if I pushed myself too far. My misery got the best of me and ruined the last section 😢 I need to learn to stop completely at my limits. I’ll return probably solo to complete 77-109 in April when I retire and planning on hiking no more than my limit of 10 miles or less. Really looking forward to your next section 😁😁😁🤦‍♀️😁👏👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉 congratulations again 😄😄

Thank you! There are so many variables that can affect how it all goes. I feel like I was super fortunate with the weather, and I really didn't push myself by allowing for an extra day here and there to give myself the freedom to go a little slower or not as many miles if my body was saying no. With my medical history I'm always careful not to push myself into too much fatigue. That's why I think section hiking is more suited to me. Thank you for watching and your positive comments. I look forward to your next video. 🌻 💛

Sure looks like you were enjoying yourself out there. I do like Meadow as a trail name for you since your radar went up every time one was on the horizon. Funny, the last gate you went out seemed to let out a cry as it opened. Seems the trail was sad to see you go. Thanx for bringing us along.

I was having so much fun. Thank you for watching and commenting! I decided on Meadowlark for a trail name since I'm also very distracted by birds.😁

Congrats!!!! What type of a hat do you use?

Thank you! It's the Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I have two. This color is no longer available. I love this hat! The brim folds in half so it can easily slip into the pack when not in use and doesn't get bent out of shape.

Oh come on Monica! I’ll be ready after my right knee is replaced! My left knee replacement is doing great and I’ve been dying to do the PCT. In fact, I’d love to take my pup Trak’r who’s my sidekick and adventure dog! He swims with dolphins, turtles and caught fish. He’s chased deer, barked at bear and hikes triple my miles. He’s such a sweetheart and has mellowed where he doesn’t chase critters like he used to. He’s going to be the most amazing hiking pup ever. I’m making him a service animal so I can take him along with some shoes for the bad parts. I setup 12 backpacking trips when I was in high school and got all my friends to go. Three years ago Trak’r and I did backpacked for three seasons in Bend, Oregon.
It’s time to live! PCT 2024!!!

You are hiking to liberate yourself from the confusion of others. This is called liberation, Spiritual Union, Enlightenment, Yoga, and other language labels. Whether we realize it or not we are hiking in order to merge our individual Soul or Spirit with the Supreme Soul or Spirit.
