    Hello Mary. I wanted to add that Marshmallow Root and Slippery Elm are also good for Interstitial Cystitis (a condition of the bladder that is very painful) and Irritible Bowel Syndrome, both of which I have searched out natural remedies over the years that have worked for me over time. Thank you for sharing these on your channel and providing the "how to" in concocting the syrup for the cough. Especially liked your 'tea' idea. Blessings from the NC mountains

    My son wasn’t feeling good last night and wasn’t sure he’d be able to go to work today. I encouragede him to take some of the honey/garlic/turmeric/ginger. He thinks it would be tasty on an Asian style chicken. I don’t know how he’s feeling this morning but he did go to work.

      Hi Rena, so sorry to hear that your son was feeling under the weather. But hopefully he’s better today. I have heard a number of people say they think this would be delicious on chicken. I have to try it… I think they’re right! Love, Mary❤️🤗❤️

    Hi Mary! New subscriber here ☺️! I found you from Sean’s UA-cam channel and wish I found you sooner! I’m all about finding out natural remedies rather than your typical over the counter medicines. My grandmother showed me a remedy to “pre treat” colds. Kind of like an “Emergen-C” She uses Ginger, Garlic, Red Onion, and Honey. 😖 Doesn’t sound appetizing at all but it’s not actually so bad! I’m excited to try this next time I feel like I’m coming down with a cold. I can’t wait to see more videos from you! And as a soon to be newly wed I’m going to need lots of learning! 🥰
    Xo, Lily

    Hi Mary! Do you have a recipe for homemade cough drops?

  • @terryhall2299
    @terryhall2299 8 місяців тому

    Hello Mary. I have two questions. One is can you stir the mixture with a wooden chopstick to get it all mixed up? And the second thing is When I made my garlic infused honey, I had a metal lid and ring on it and when I would turn it upside down and right side up honey would come down the side of the jar. Is that because I didn’t use a white lid or was it not on they’re tight enough?
