At that time my wife Diane ran the best record department in Frome in William Powers. She often had more of the non mainstream records in. Any all the Smiths came in to shop and Johnny Marr bought all of her The Fall LPs and paid by cheque. She did a copy of the signed cheque that we still have somewhere. Another member bought some other LP and paid cash but cant remember who that was or what LP. Wonder if JM still has his Frome bought Fall LPs ?
