The problem I initially had with it was I was initially looking at it as an RnB song expecting typical hooks and bridge ect, however, the unorthodox structure took time to get used to and once I got used to the structure I was able to then digest the message and feelings behind the song. In the end, this is a unique song that has not been repeated even though there are literally millions in the budget of many record companies for those who can make another crossroads. As a matter of fact, even to this day Bone has been asked to make another Crossroads, and even though they have been successful using certain elements from this song, nobody has been able to quite put the pieces together the way this song is constructed. The best analogy I can come up with is a rap version of Bohemian Rhapsody another song with a million moving parts, but the execution of placing these parts in the perfect place separates it from any other song. The pure beauty of this song is that it basically created a different genre of music, not quite singing and not quite rap, but in the end, it has a whole lot of what's missing in today's music, SOUL.

That one was dedicated to their homie who was essentially the 6th member, but he was killed before they met Eazy and blew up. Sorry coming in late. As much as I have alot of respect for Bone and I grew up listening to their music , I respect your guys reaction to your introduction to them. "Tha Crossroads" is a product of when they transitioned to a more religious r&b tone . Which any die hard bone fan would know they started out ....well its hard for me to label but the closest I can would be to say more of a "horror-core" hard-core gangsta rap tone. They literally have a chanting song praying to a quija board asking if they would die by murder. But they keep the same melody and flow they originated as. I would recommend to the haters to realize bone is not for everyone and to keep an open mind for others what something so unique might sound to them . Cheers .
It's comical listening to ya'll talk music theory to people who define what rhythm and Soul is. All that counting, that it sound good and is harmony personified, so WHT hell are u nerds counting for?
The other guy seems like he always looking for confirmation from the glasses guy, maybe this is when your too smart for the music and just over analyze everything.
So, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess these guys studied music theory in college. It just feels like every music theory major I've ever met or seen on the internet never actually enjoys the things they listen to. The curse of knowing too much about the medium you once loved, I guess. I will gladly stay hopelessly ignorant enough to think that Bone thugz is still excellent music. lmfao! Thanks for the reaction boys!

This was Hard to watch. Dont be such nerds hahaha. Bone thugs n Harmony changed the game and their style has been copied by so many its ridiculous. A lot of rappers have the talent, without the music theory knowledge. Bone Thugs are the best to ever do it.
I was really into this video until I hrard the term RnB, Bone is actually a hip hop, who's rhyme patterns are similar to a TechNine or Twista. The only difference is Bone started using more harmonies once their second album "E.99 Eternal" came out. Also, when they speak of their dawg getting killed, they're not talking about the animal "dog" its a reference to his homie, or his friend. Definitely gotta get more into hip hop language before you react to hip hop jams or the video will come off a lil weird. Its all love tho, I enjoyed the video, just wanted to point those things out, keep rhem coming...
Thanks for the kind words! That's funny we were set on someone killed his pet lol. Also, there are TONS of old school RnB elements in this song. Genre should be a dirty word! Bone thugs are bone thugs!

@@BehindTheBeatReactions 🤣 Landed my wife with that mustang 25 years. She said she never drove a stick and Yeahhhhh I volunteered. Married her 6 months later 🤣🤣🤣
Cheers .
More Bone Thugs!!!
Def!!
It's comical listening to ya'll talk music theory to people who define what rhythm and Soul is. All that counting, that it sound good and is harmony personified, so WHT hell are u nerds counting for?
LoL.BONE THUGS AND HARMONY 4LIFE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Krayzie Bone did a song "Take It Easy" which has a Commadors sample
Don’t you EVER make another video shitting on Bone Thugs AGAIN. We all will revoke your title as musicians. How dare you😑
Thank you for expressing your passion for Bone Thugs. I appreciate your feedback and will keep it in mind for future videos.
The other guy seems like he always looking for confirmation from the glasses guy, maybe this is when your too smart for the music and just over analyze everything.
Could be!
More bone thugs pls
You got it!
The Commodores were the name of the group at which Lionel Richie was a member of.
Yes. Nice job!
🐐 🐐
Flesh is still making good music 🔥🔥
Dope!
Love the Analyzation
Just stick to ur own culture and don't bash this great groups legacy with disrespect. U guys been under a rock bc this song has been at mostly every funeral for ages now...
Reacting to what we hear. Not attacking you
These guys are so white
They started by the name bone enterprise cd tilte is faces of death
if you want harmony...listen to buddah lovaz by bone thugs n harmony.
React to their original crossroads version too. This one is a remix.
I like the part of the song where they said stuff that I can't understand 🤣
Hahaha
This Song Won A Grammy! Bone Thugs Sold Over 50 Million This’s One Of My Favorite Rap Groups! Please Do More Research On Bone They’re Not Singers They Rap With Harmony, It’s A Big Difference I Don’t Know Whats Up With You Guys Maybe HipHop Rap Isn’t For You 😂 I’ve Been A Big Bone Fan Since 1993 No Need To Be Disrespect!! Put Some Respect On Bone Name… I Was About To Subscribe But After Listening To Y’all I Can’t Do It Now No Hate I Wish Y’all Nothing But Success💯💯

Hahaha. It never resolved!! Lol
JFC the whitest reaction I've seen to this song 😂
Eazy-E signed BTNH to his label Ruthless Records
Makes sense!
Gangsta Dresta and BG Knocc Out wouldve had the limelight, wasnt it for 1 of em going to jail for a long time. So BTNH became Eazys priority at the time.
@@vredelingregardless of BG Knockout n them…when Easy heard BTNH he was going to put resources into them. BG n them would have never been in the same tier as Bone.
@@mikeg4960 yup ofcourse, like comparing pears and apples. Not trying to downplay BTNH. They wouldve gotten famous anyway. Just saying what wouldve happened to BG and Dresta if... (sorry English not motherlanguage)
