    Thank you. Just had a hearing test and I’m in the mild to moderate portion. This video was by far the most informative. I’ve been doing research on the three areas/types and this cleaned it all up. Choosing a product in this area has been considerably hard due to being a complete rookie and not really trusting the salesmen, lol.
    Thanks a ton

    Thank you for this, got Phonak about a year ago, but have recently been diagnosed with Sudden deaf syndrome, got completely deaf on one ear. So I am now waiting for a CROS🤞🤞🤞

    First, thanks to Soundly for quickly educating me on HA options last year. I decided to dip my toes into the water with the Sony CRC10s. The sound quality was about 4/10; it helped but then the Sony app crashed when I went overseas on a business trip. What a waste of money! But the experience made to decide go all in. I considered Phonak audeo but didn’t like the chunky size or low battery life. I bought the Oticon Intent 1 thru Zip hearing and got 45% discount and great service. Have been using the Oticons 16 hrs/day for 2 months with great sound (9.5/10) and no problems. I absolutely never feel like I’m wearing them, play golf, jog etc. and can hear my students in class and watch tv without headphones. Bluetooth isn’t perfect but works well. Love it for hands free phone and music. Total recommendation.

    I purchased Beyond after watching your previous video, honestly a lot of it's features were very unexpected, and the tinnitus mask has been very useful for me.

      So glad to hear that! The feedback has been quite positive. Perhaps surprising to us as well since we’ve struggled to find something in this price range.

    Great review for overall comparison. Thanks.
    I think I need that Phonak AI for my variable hearing loss and constant differences in environment at work (industrial)
    I also have a wish list for some reasonable priced over-the-counter ones for casual use. My current Phonaks (and whatever I buy next) are so expensive that I am afraid to wear them for non-work hours. My problem is that my left ear just has age related mild loss while my right ear is much worse due to a medical condition from many years ago. This may disqualify all of the over the counter ones.

    This is an awesome review video, thank you so much! I’ve been wearing hearing aids since kindergarten and am now in my mid 30s and have found it hard to find reviews from people who are actual users, have broad knowledge and have tried a lot and this ticked all of those boxes for me. I also really appreciate your overview of the different models as when I bought my current pair four years ago so this helped clarify.
    At that point I choose between Phonak and Signia and ended up with the Signia Styletto x and I’ve loved them - I have a review of both ones I tried on my Chanel from back then. I’m leaning towards getting the updated Stylettos and this was very helpful perspective. Thanks!

    I tried the Jabra Enhanced Pro 2 yrs ago and they were inferior for wind noise and natural sound. However, what made me return them was how terrible the bluetooth sound was. I tried them with several phone calls and they were awful. This was true for both myself, but also for the caller. The sound quality was terrible for me, background sounds were awkwardly amplified and sounded distorted. With each call I had to turn off bluetooth and use the phone directly. The Oticon Reals that replaced the Jabra Pros, are superior in all categories which means they stay in my ears all day long, whether I am answering calls or streaming podcasts. The Oticons are also markedly better for me in restaurants. I can focus on the speaker and follow converstations. This was not possible with the Jabras.

    An added factor is software. The Resound app allows adjusting frequency response using a graph, as well as preprogrammed modes. The Phonak app allows changing modes a bit. However, I found the communication between app and hearing aid was erratic, and returned my audéo I90 twice, finally for good, because this poor functionality was annoying, with both the original and replacement devices. Phonak needs to fix this issue.

    I purchased the Beyond units about a month ago and ended up returning them last week. While they worked pretty well, the behind the ear setup interfered with my glasses. I believe the in the canal style would work better for me. i think the Sony's would be a good candidate but I'll have to wait awhile as I can't afford them right now. Thanks for the informative video.

    Great overview of how the rapidly changing landscape works.
    Very much appreciate your clear reviews and category summaries.
    Have you tested the Starkey Edge AI HAs that came out about a month ago? If not (they’re really new), do you have plans to do so?
    I’m very lucky that I have insurance, so I have the surprising luxury of trialing 2-3 different premium tier Rx HAs over 60 days for a total of $1k out of pocket.

      I have not tried the new Edge AI yet. I did spend time in Genesis AI and I thought they were solid. What has been your favorite brand so far from the trials?

      @ Starting my first trial this Tuesday with the Edge AI. Also, recently learned that the “lower” SNR rating from Hearing Advisor with WITHOUT Edge Mode + turned on. Seems like testing the Sphere’s without Spheric mode. Curious to see the scores after an Apples to Apples comparison.

    Thanks much. Regarding the Sennheisers, many of the reviews on Amazon suggest they’re not good for conversation in noisy environments, e.g. restaurants. That’s my main concern. Do you agree that these are not all that capable in noisy environments, or do you have a different opinion?

    • @HearSoundly
      @HearSoundly  Місяць тому +1

      Good question. Personally I find that they do well in noise. All hearing aids take some getting used to, but Sennheiser has quite mature sound quality to my ear. It’s also the least returned product we have right now among customers. Thanks for watching!

    • @HearSoundly
      @HearSoundly  24 дні тому

      Hi good question. If they are over-ear headphones yes. If they are earbud-style devices then no. C20 does not have Bluetooth streaming built-in.

    Thankyou for a great review, I am currently changing my hearing aids as I lost my last pair, I have the resound Quattro Linx 9 - and I am being recommended the Resound Nexia 9 - however I have a Samsung phone as I am not a fan of iphone at all, would these be a good choice for me?
