Pacing is the bane of my existence. It’s near impossible with three kids 10,14&15. Housework, errands, dr appts, elderly parents to deal with, kid dr appts....leaving no time for rest, or any art or enjoyment for me. Last night I subkexed a hip and my scoliosis was twisted worse. I don’t think able people can possibly understand what this life is like. It’s so amazing to watch yours and other vids to feel not alone.
Hi Jenni maybe this technique would help with taking your meds. I always take my morning ones but often forget to take my lunchtime ones. I have stated to keep a habit tracker in my bullet journal and I list all the times I need to take my meds and then cross them off when I have so that an unticked space = missed meds. I’m not sure if you’ve tried bullet journaling yet but it’s good once you get started. I also find having a recurring alarm on my phone that corresponds with the time I’m supposed to take them. If it’s your morning ones you are missing you can customise the alarm based on the different wake up times you need each day. Say 15 minutes after your main morning alarm goes off. Hope this is helpful and you don’t mind the unsolicited advice! Xx
I'm a bit rubbish at keeping a journal filled it and I think it's more likely I'll forget to tick it off than forget my meds :P I'm also so bad with alarms especially in the morning. At uni I put a big sign on the back of my door saying 'Take your meds, girl' and it's actually helped so if I get to the door and realise I haven't taken them I can take them or take them with me and I've been much better on that front. No, thank you Karen, I'm always looking for advice and new/different ways of doing things x
