The beauty of respecting your gear over time, the Leica-look, some example photos of this 9 year old camera and my thoughts about it, is what I´m talking about in this video.
Those wedding photos are breathtaking. They made my eyes pop out because they were they were that good. They have a certain quality to them , something akin to an extremely well executed oil painting. Thanks for sharing. I want that camera. I want the Q.
great photos!! I have a Q and sold all my other Leica Systems, cause the Q is the most Leica of them all... down to the essence of Leica. I love it !!!!!
Thanks! Oh, I never had any other Leica Systems, but that says a lot if your favourite is the Q - nice! High quality, discrete, retro look but still modern on the inside must be some of the essence attributes? 🙂
@@willprytz it's the literal essence of Leica in a small portable package. beautiful optic and slick user experience, simple user interface and beautiful sensor. It's co incidentally around the same size as the first Leitz camera ever made. Also I love the lightness of the camera. With the exception of Hasselblad x1d, I'm so over big bulky and heavy cameras.
Some of the images really have a unique nice look and feel to them that you presented. I can see what you mean by the quality of that lens. I’m intrigued and going to keep my eye out for a good copy. Thanks for the nice video!
Yeah I agree, there is something about the unique look that comes with the Leica series. I hope you will find one because it's such a fun camera to use!
@@willprytz your welcome. sorry if i sounded like a jerk. I just don't understand the leica thing. I have an x-e1 with my favorite sensor ever. I think 35 field of view is the widest i would go.
@@frankartale1026 No, no worries at all! I think it's refreshing and cool when people do what they like instead of just follow whats "hyped" or "hot" by the vast majority. Which focal length do you prefer?
@@willprytz honestly 35mm field of view . my griiix is just a smidge tight. I had a 25mm which is around 37mm apsc and it was perfect to me but no autofocus. So ill stick to 35 because they dont have a lens in between
Happy Q owner here, nice images. Black and white is genius out this camera! ✌️🇦🇺
Cheers! 🙏 I absolutely agree!
Agree 100%

I took ownership two weeks ago, I’m blown away by the feel and quality
Congrats! I know what you mean. Felt the same way
Love the vibe your video.
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that 🙂
I got my first Leica, a QP a few months ago. No turning back now!
Congrats to a fine and great camera! Enjoy it 🙂
Dat svenska accent
Yes! 😄 Makes sense because I'm from Sweden.
@@willprytz I'm an American and I like your accent.
1/2000th mechanical shutter ? Wow Leica spared no expense and charged it to the world. I'll never understand that or the 28mm. Boring
Yeah, in the end it comes down to personal taste of course. Thanks for your comment!

You can shoot the Q at 28/35/50. The image quality even at 50mm is unbelievable.
