Great story! I very recently sold my Lumix gear and bought a Q - in 2024! Best thing I ever did, we’re still getting to know each other and it’s bought some funshine into my photo world. As for that lens! Gobsmacked…✌️
Ohhhhyeah! The Q comes in clutch so often! No matter how much I contemplate other cameras, I remember how the Q consistently delivers supreme quality. LMK more!

I realized a couple months ago that I haven't had a decent camera in 8 years, was looking at used Leica M's until a life event redirected fun money and stumbled onto the Q instead, found a used silver (unicorn) from the Boston store and its already gone down as one of the best purchases of my life. Im legitimately happy I ended up with a Q vs an M or anything else for that matter. I added a nice silk wrist strap and a $15 sling pouch from Amazon and couldn't be happier.
It's interesting to know that we have so many other choices, too. Right? I was close to pulling the trigger on a couple other rigs, but after holding and using the Q, I'm definitely with you on that... one of the best purchases of my life. I'd love to see some of your photos!

Smartphones have definitely come of age, but I have a Q2 Monochrom, and its image quality far exceeds that of phone camera. Also, the Q2 cameras offer control over the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and have a built-in Macro feature.
The colors are beautiful and crisp! ♥️
