    Ingredients:
    Dough
    3 tbsp semolina
    3 tbsp water
    2 cups powdered milk
    2 tbsp clarified butter
    1 tsp baking powder
    2 tbsp all-purpose flour
    6 tbsp milk
    Syrup
    2 cups sugar
    2 ½ cups water
    5 cardamom
    1 tsp lemon juice
    Instructions:
    1. Soak semolina with water and set aside
    2. Add powdered milk in a separate bowl along with clarified butter, baking powder, all-purpose flour and the soaked semolina
    3. Pour milk and mix then let it rest
    4. Create spherical shape with a 2-inch diameter using your palm
    5. Fry until golden brown
    6. Boil water with sugar, cardamom, and lemon juice
    7. Turn off heat and add the fried dough into the syrup and allow it to soak for minimum 1 hour
    8. Enjoy!

    This is the best and easiest recipe ever!!! Had been looking for a perfect homemade recepie of Gulaab Jammuns for a very long time and came across this one!
    The Jammuns were just like store bought...far far better than the premix packets you get in the market. Must try👍

    I tried it but added 12tbsps of milk (instead of 6)and one egg, otherwise the dough was hard. Turned out amazing!

      Hi .. which milk powder did u use ..can u share the brand name plz. I have Nestle Everyday milk powder , it has sugar in it . Will that work ??

      @@priya19851000 no, use unsweetened milk powder, or your gulab jamun will turn out too sweet and hard.

    Thank you for this recipe and others on this channel. Really good! Loved this recipe so made it today: was delicious both deep fried and air fried. But needed a lot more milk to combine the dough. Also added coconut powder to the mix for flavour. Next time will add sugar in the mix and vanilla essence or cardamom to the mixture as needed more flavour. But overall excellent!

    Made gulab jaman for the first time ever, followed this recipe. They came out unbelievably tasty and perfect. Used exact measurements. Only in sugar added 1/4 cup more than the recipe.

      What kind of powder milk did you use? When i do this my dough becomes really hard almost hard like a stone

    Nice recipe. I tried but don't know why dough became too sticky. I followed the same milk quantity shown by you and gulab jamun became hard even after soaking it in syrup for long time. Please advise.

      Don’t knead the dough..just mix enough to bind it.hope it helps 🙂

      Add milk little at a time. She used half the milk initially and added the rest later. You could also do the same and stop before it gets too wet. Liquid quantity for any recipe depends on different quality of items we use in real time. Thumb rule is to add most of the liquid and keep a portion aside and add only if needed or may need to add more than specified sometimes.

      Mohammed Nurul Afsar First you have to fry in the oil. Then you have to put them on to boiling sugar syrup.

      Because you added the gulab jamun to the hot syrup while the gulab jamun were hot. You need to have them cool down for at least 25 minutes until you add them to the syrup

      Api they turned off the flame after adding lemon then they added fried ball i read it on the description box you can also read it i was confused about same thing thanks

      @@piyalidas2280 leave the dough with few drops of milk in it for like 15-20 minutes then mash the dough pretty hard and apply ghee/oil on your palm and make them perfect!!!!!.
