The Blu Soldier's probably named Jane Doe while the Red one's named John Doe since the raccoon sanctuary was made by the Red one. Just my head canon.
Well, canonically they're not really Red nor Blu but randomly colored. In the MvM comic series theyre all red except for Engie.
well, going off of the war comic, i'm pretty sure that some classes are on red, and some are on blu, like maybe just soldier, heavy, engie, and medic are on blu, and then scout, pyro, demoman, sniper, and spy are on red
I think it's possible there's only nine mercenaries, the one of each class we all know and love, and they switch teams regularly to whomever pays more

I mean the tf2 games is just a documentary videogame produced by Mann Co who only have the rights to these 9. I bet there are a bunch more mercenaries fighting in the gravel war doing their own thing as I don't think a war with only 9 people can last so long. These other mercenaries were killed by the TFC guys though as mentioned by the classic heavy. Plus they're mercenaries I bet they flip flop between red and blu depending on the pay.
I really like how the mercenaries all have certain relationships with each other, it’s so cute. It’s like there one big family

Only Sniper and Scout have no real arguments for literacy but even then it doesn't really make sense for Sniper and in this essay I will

Soldier actually can read!! We can see him read in the comic in which they seach Heavy in Siberia, when the old lady offers them coats. He reads the "S" from "Sears", but stops himself, thinking it reads "soviet", "stalin" or "socialism" :D

I had the joy of playing with what might have been the real SquimJim and SquibJib yesterday, they were on the enemy team and the were really good. I was the Prussian/Foppish medic on Powerhouse.

In spite of valve's roleplay as a ghost, TF2 continues and will be my favorite MP, his characters are unique and until today I didn't see characters so charismatic and so different from each other in personality.
I believe that Rick will always be in our hearts as the best soldier that ever walked this planet.

My cannon concerning his name is this: Soldier’s supposed to represent an “average” American, despite satirical. Therefore I think his real name is John Doe. Jane Doe is an alias both because they CANT use John Doe as his alias, and because soldier was dumb enough that Pauling and the administrator were able to make him think that it would be a good alias.

I think the Doe part of his name might be an obscure reference to band of brothers, the book, and the history of the 101st, who soldier identified with, with him saying "SCREAMING EAGLES!" It was said that one of the first person to fail the 101st training was a man with the name "John Doe". Like it was his actual name.

Huh I never really thought that Soldier was basically the “main character” in TF2 now, but it does fit.
It has been a great time seeing you go through the complete history of the 9 classes (and Trevor from 2Fort) and I have to say this has been one of your best ones yet. I especially like how you went over Soldier’s relationship with Zhanna, an underrated non-in game character who added a lot to the Soldier as a character in the comics. I will be looking forwards to your complete history of Ms. Pauling.
