Can you please do a video on why Dr Carl Truesdale face lifts look sooooooooo good?
can you do a video on Sarah Shahi? I saw a video of the time when she was a cheerleader and in my opinion, she looked different. I would love to know what procedures she has undergone, if any. Also, a scene from her show Sex/life her back seemed to be aging in my opinion but her face seems younger in comparison? Would like to know your opinions
Immediate transparency right off the bat… this is why I subscribed! Thank you Lorry!
❤️🥰
This is why we love her!
I thought the same thing. LORRY you have to organise a girls skin care slumber party!!!
I agree - love her transparency and kindness always :)
Agreed! That why I love her and her content!
Ariana Grande recently did a polygraph test and denied all plastic surgery besides injectables, I’m so glad we have these videos to keep us grounded in reality!
I think we all know those were lies lol
I saw so many people watching those videos talking about how she proved everyone wrong. So many people believe those videos. I wonder how they went about making it look like she was telling the truth.
@@BridgetGraham-zj6oo homegirl looks like an uncanny valley real doll and still is denying. Wild. 😂
@@BridgetGraham-zj6oo its really not that hard to fool a lie detector test, they arnt accurate at all
Excellent job on being transparent on your surgery! You are showing transparency that you speak about in your videos! Refreshing to see this on UA-cam!
Thank you ❤️
Yes, girl! You're 100% accurate. I'm born, raised, and still here in Utah! You were SO kind and true, girl. Utah is THE. MOST. FAKE state cuz we are raised, as a former Mormon, we are raised to be SO submissive. But, I'm not that girl. But you are so gracious and kind with your words, gir. So, as a Utahan you are amazing. I life your honesty!!!!!
Utah lady here too, I was raised in a Mormon family. I’m not anymore. My mother had to have my sister and I look perfect. She had to be just as good as everyone else .
I am a Mormon I was raised to be assertive so must be ur family
@ivelearnedalot8354 girl, same! Most just don't even notice or take awareness for these types of behaviors. It really is sad. I still lives in Utah and it's still the same women since can pick out of a line up who take those blind eyes of ignorance. Please, they know the truth but are so whipped they don't even think for themselves anymore.
This reminds me of ballerinafarm ??
Have a speedy recovery! Thank you for the content as always.
It's not that they aren't absolutely stunning after; they most certainly are. It's just, for some of them, the surgeries aged them 10 years and something about that saddens me 🙁
Also I don’t think the implants look good… people that are very thin, without any muscle tone or fat deposits then having these huge implants (or bbls for that matter) won’t ever look natural to me 🙈
And I’m not talking about people having naturally larger boobs or butt with a slimmer build, I had that too, and when I got to my late twenties it got impossible to maintain
I so agree! I live here and it’s been interesting to see the generics sameness and the added 5-10 years with some of the most common surgeries.
Also, totally blown away that a surgeon would perform a procedure to insert foreign objects (breast implants) into a patient with a severe autoimmune disease (eczema). That’s just irresponsible.
Labiaplasty is too dangerous, until full scale nerve mapping before surgery is done. Removing tissue and losing sexual sensation is NOT an equal risk to reward.
Lorry, this is a reminder that if u ever wish to start a VS Angels mini-series (like shorts or just short videos), this is the perfect moment after the show!! I wish you an easy recovery
It saddens me that they got these things done before 20 I think people should wait until 25 when their frontal lobe fully develops and by then you learn that your “flaws” are your best features
Also letting your body and face settle into its adult version
it's not even about their brain development tbh (btw it ending at 25 is a debunked myth), it's about letting their own personal features grow and settle before choosing to change them.
No offense, but their flaws are their best features??? What?
Your eyes look lovely! When the video first started, I thought "Her eyes look beautiful." Glad to know this surgery also fixed an ongoing problem.
I like how transparent and kind you are
Thank you 🙏🏻
Lorry, I’ve missed seeing your videos lately. I love how you talk about women without putting them down. You’re so sweet and really caring. ❤
I was born and raised in Utah, I left at 30 for work. I was also Mormon until 34. I never felt ANY pressure to look a certain way once I left Utah, it’s very much a Utah problem not a religious problem. Every Mormon I know where I live doesn’t want to live in Utah as they realize the culture is too focused on perfectionism. There is a beauty standard that everyone strives for which is why everyone ends up looking too blonde, too tan, teeth too white and lashes too over done.
That’s interesting
Agreed! I was raised in TN and Chicago IL area. Moved to Utah as an adult and it's a UT thing for sure.
Haha - sorta the same story. Left at 30, but for the husband's job. Left the church 3.5 yrs ago. But I absolutely agree. Our ward out of state was so down to earth and there was not a single woman with bright blonde hair that was perfectly curled. We certainly had some trendy ladies, but not many. Now we're in Phoenix and it's kinda like mini-Utah in our ward.....without the plastic surgery.....unless you count Ozempic. 🤣
Lorry, even though you are still in recovery, you look AMAZING! Thanks for your great video, as always 👏👏👏❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Hi Lorry glad to see you back, thank you for being so transparent and helping to fix the stigma associated to plastic surgery. Also please check the latest Ariana Grande interview , she said she have only had filler and Botox a few years ago
Ain't that a crock of lies lol!
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
She did see it and commented on instagram. Many of Ariana’s fans are sending her have via instagram DMs unfortunately
How many more videos about Ariana do you need from this channel? You've already made up your mind, so why does it matter? And stop hiding behind the excuse of 'she's not being transparent with her fans.' You don’t actually care, you just want to tear her down 😭
@@itsjinxnow4814 when Ariana stops changing her face and lying about it 🤷♀️
Since the Ballerina farm scandal, I've started to see mor eand more former Mormon wives tiktoks on my fyp and that's what they said too, that all Mormon wives all kinda look the same. At first I thought it was bc they're likely to marry between themseves so ofc they're bound to all look the same at some point, I would have NEVER guessed that people who are sooooo religious would get so far into plastic surgery . (edit) Also seeing these sorta celebrity but still pretty regular people being so upfront about their procedures really makes me wonder why is it that those Hollywood A listers just WON't admit that they had anything done
Wishing you a prompt recovery!
Yes! Why is it so hard for them?? They will literally purchase a brand new face...and then deny it 🥴
My cousin is heavily Christian and she’s had a bbl it shocked me when I saw her last year after I hadn’t seen her in a while 😭
They are not upfront because of the judgement they receive like the judgmental comment you just barely made on this post😟
@@vl2663 I bet lol
It's a bit of both. There's such thing as "mormon face" which is a real thing you see coming out of the mormon community way before their can afford to get surgery & non surgical changes.
They already kinda look like each other & then they double down on that by getting the exact same surgeries requesting the exact same end results.
Dear Lorry! Thank you for being transparent as usual. Once your eyes swelling improves could you plz let us know about your last plastic surgery experience? And I think you look pretty as always 😊
Thank you ! The verdict is; I love love love them !
I'm recovering from a plastic surgery too, and it's really difficult to go out of home not feeling good. I admire you a lot for making this video and not hding yourself while still a bit swollen. This makes me more confident too!! Thank you, Lorry, you're such an amazing person
Love the transparency Lorry always brings
Mormon women also have higher rates of eating disorders compared to the broader population. The pressure Mormon women are under to meet a very high beauty expectation definitely takes its toll on people.
Thank you for mentioning and explaining your own recent surgeries. It’s super interesting to see which procedures you personally opt for, as someone who analyzes cosmetic work on others. I think you look great and how wonderful that you feel so much better too. ❤
Thank you ❤️
Thanks for your honesty and respectful approach. I also appreciate how you highlighted that these surgery choices are due to social pressures. Seems that Hollywood is not the only place that values women on their looks which I find sad.
LORRY! We missed seeing your beautiful face in the last video. You are looking snatched! 😍❤
Thank you !!
I hope all the celebrities that watch your channel take note of how supportive your subscribers are about your plastic surgery.
And also when you transparent about it and the reasons why you chose to do it instead of pretending it was puberty or fillers & Botox people are generally kind instead of judgemental. When you are obviously being lied to it doesn’t make you want to be understanding or empathetic. But honesty does.
I noticed an immediate difference when I clicked the video and you look great! I also love why/how you disclose this information for your audience to understand these procedures. Will forever love and support this channel!
Thank you so much always 🥰
i’m so excited to see the fully healed results of your surgery lorry! you’re looking stunning even with swelling!
Thank you ❤️
Hey Lorry, excited to watch this video ❤I hope you have a speedy recovery from here on out!
Wishing you full and speedy healing!
You look great as usual.... Hope you have a speedy recovery ❤
Thank you so much!
It’s not only the pressure to look perfect makes these girl undergo a plastic surgery. It’s also just a lack is self confidence and the knowledge of themselves
How do you feel about Ariana Grande blatantly LYING to her fans about her plastic surgery?
Did she do this recently?
@@Blahblahblahblahblahblahblah1 Yes in her vanity fair interview she claims she didn’t have her nose done etc
Ikr?!? „Can you IMAGINE?😱“
That pissed me off. Another proof of these „lie detector tests“ being staged. It’s just ridiculous.
@@Blahblahblahblahblahblahblah1 With a lie detector! it was absurd
@@GloomyTh22 100% gaslighting at its finest
Thank you for your transparency. Have a smooth recovery 💪🏻❤🎉
I'm fascinated by the "rounding phenomenon " ! Personally after my rhinoplasty 6 years ago, I felt like my unique almond eyes suddenly became round racoon eyes. I'd attributed it to possibly an overaggressive scoop on upper nose/bridge area...now I'm sincerely curious what other contributing factors are likely. I too have great struggles with dry eyes. Btw, I can already see your eyes are on their way to a really captivating beautiful placement! The tissues will fall into place soon!
Aww thanks so much!! Perhaps sometimes the rounding can happen for other reasons too; the human body is mysterious
Your eyes look fabulous Lorry! Wishing you speedy recovery and thank you for another great video always! 💞
Thank you so much!
Lorry ur so brave for coming on camera and sharing with us! Wishing you quick healing!
Have you seen that filler never leaves the body 😮😮😮. Doctors everywhere are coming out and saying how dangerous and cancer causing any kind of filler is. 😢
Idk about the second sentence but it definitely stays and migrates as well as doubles in size over time so an mri of someone who’s had 5ml of filler may actually show it’s expanded to 10 ml
@@Sandakan00 go check out Stephanie Lange's video on here from yesterday - 'Your Fillers Failed You' - where she goes into this. Essentially fillers are migrating from their original injection sites and have been shown to cause blockages in your lymphatic system putting you at an increased risk of cancer.
@@wendymclaren1478Is that the same for hyaluronic lip fillers?
@@feliciaboston6365 yes, Steph covers that in the video too.
@@wendymclaren1478 who is Steph??
Happy for you Lorry! 🎉
How can you pretend to be traditional and spiritual while rejecting the body God gave you and changing it. Also putting vanity before anything else. Truly you'll know them by their acts.
End of times
They believe that God wants you to look as beautiful as possible, doing these procedures are actually seen as a way to honor God. "Always look in way that you'd feel proud to meet God" is something they say a lot
@@Strutability😮 That’s so wild! Thank you for sharing this info- makes so much more sense why they seem proud of having these procedures.
All the ladies on the show look so stunning, I especially love their hair and how they style it! Thank you for covering them, Lorry 🙂
Utah is the hand tied extension capital of the U.S. … they all have besutiful extensions
you look great Lorry, and you have helped me improve my own relationship with my own features. Thank you for your transparency and kindness, always!
Happy to read this ❤️
Thanks for another video, Lorry!
I thought your fair comments and personal connection to the LDS community were refreshing. I would add one thing as someone who grew up in the LDS church on the east coast - there is a culture amongst church members in Utah that does not exist outside of the state, at least to any great extent. I often feel like I see these shows and public depictions of LDS women in Utah and feel so removed from their experience. So a lot of the pressure to look and act a certain way, just based off of my personal experience, is very Utah LDS specific rather than reflecting LDS doctrine or gospel as a whole
So very true !!
Dear Lorry I wish you a quick and healthy recovery! And I am sure you are going to look stunning as usual ❤
11:46 whhhaaaaa…. Demi is full of it. Maybe she came from a super wealthy area but this is NOT normal before 20
I would love to hear more about your lateral canthoplasty and brow lift. I’m guessing you probably have a video in the works. I think this is a procedure a lot of people are considering, myself included. Details around the procedure itself, where the incisions are made, the healing/recovery process and approximate cost would be such a helpful video.
❤️🥰
Congrats on the eye surgery and it sounds like it's going to make such a positive impact on your life going forward! Thanks for the transparency as always and best wishes for your recovery
Thank you my friend ❤️
You’re always so stunning Lorry! Glad you were able to make yourself more comfortable 🥰

Can you do a video about Holly Madison? I think she's had some of the best work done and is gorgeous
Praying for your full, healthy recovery. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you lovely 🥰
Love the honesty and how sensible you spoke about your surgery and recovery ❤️❤️❤️ I wish you happy healing ❤️🩹 you look so BEAUTIFUL already!!!
Thank you lovely 🥰
I just wanna add my thoughts on Layla getting her nose done, the LDS church is very anti-black as a general statement (of course not everyone in this religion is like that but the doctrine literally states that having darker skin is a curse from God, though not every mormon believes that) so I feel she's been extra pressured to fit in with white beauty standards as much as possible which is understandable but also really heartbreaking. All the ladies are GORGEOUS but I definitely think Layla is or at least was the most pressured to look as the part as much as possible. I hope in season 2 they can dive into that aspect a little more if she's comfortable with it, though I could be completely wrong lol.
Makes a lot of sense!!
I think these ladies look so similar that I had trouble telling them apart the first few episodes.
I cannot think of anything less godly than competing with other women to look like you've never had children.
The men have a duty to love and care for their wives, that goes double for when they have a child together.
Filler increases cancer risk, so the vanity isn't without cost.
I can appreciate the honesty and transparency, but it is cultish to remove your more unique features to become a cookie cutter woman.
Taking pride in your appearance with diet, exercise and skin care is all good, but hacking up your body to become a caricature? No.
Where is this low self esteem coming from?
Spending way too much time on the internet and not enough time touching grass.
You look great and once again thanks for your transparency xx
Thank you for the video; wishing you a smooth recovery. I just find that the younger women getting so many surgical treatments on their faces look a lot older than their ages. I find it’s a phenomenon that’s not limited to these people; the younger they are when they get surgery the older it makes them look. Celebrities are a good example of this.
I wonder if Mykala has lupus . That type of rash is common with that autoimmune disease.
I believe she does have an autoimmune disease
Really hope it helps with dry eyes!! I understand the struggle. You look beautiful so don’t worry about that! I appreciate hearing your kind but honest opinions on these topics.
Thank you so much!!
You're looking gorgeous as always, Lori! I'm so stoked for this video. I knew you'd have something interesting to say on the matter.
Aww thank you !!

You should check out the Mormon Stories podcast about the SLoMW show and why Mormons get so much plastic surgery. It's fascinating
I did !! It was great !!
I think how open and honest these women were is really pushing the culture forward, not just for Mormons, but everyone, when it comes to transparency, and I truly applaud them! Women sharing the truth with other women is an act of kindness and empowerment 🙂
I love this ! Completely agree !!
Love you and all of your content. Please share more about your latest procedure. And would you ever offer a list surgeons that you recommend? Turning 50 and have decided it’s time for work.❤

Great show lorry such an honest classy lady. You look absolutely stunning and your eyes look gorgeous because you are a good soul 🙏❤️🇬🇧xx

I’m so glad you explained why two of the women looked like sisters!
Makes sense if they want so desperately to fit in to their small community. Assimilate. If you’re different, you’ll be shunned.
This is such a fascinating video! I had no idea about plastic surgery in Utah. That explains the trope of why all the women took like clones of each other.
So happy for you Lorry❤ you look amazing as always
Thank you so much ❤️
Ty Lorry❤ take care🙌🏻😘
Makes sense that religious people do more plastic surgery. I remember how much my parents demonized make-up, because it's 'false advertising.' So they help their 'natural beauty' a little, because you can be really judged for not being 'feminine' enough.
Your new look looks lovely Lorry! Wishing you a speedy recovery 😊
Thank you so much!
I'm pretty surprised by...I think it was Demi's comment....about everyone getting plastic surgery in Utah beginning in their 20s. I was born and raised in Utah as a Mormon. I'm mid 40s now, but it certainly was not a common thing when I was in my 20s. I think it has more to do with where these girls grew up and lived or where they currently live. The east bench of the Wasatch mountains is a pretty wealthy area whether in Salt Lake County or Utah County. I'm guessing that is where these women are from or currently live. (I haven't watched the show, so I don't know).
I would agree that breast implants were/are the most common cosmetic surgery performed in Utah. Possibly because of trends, but more likely because Mormon women are expected to have a lot of children at a young age. Many women might have 3 - 5 kids before they're 30.
Ironically, I got a mommy makeover when I was 35 - we lived in KS at the time - and I did not want anyone from my congregation to know about the surgery. I was so worried I'd be judged for being vain about my body. I didn't want my extended family or my husband's family to know either, for the same reason. I did not get the surgeries out of pressure to look perfect, but for my own need to feel good about my body. There is a lot of pressure in Utah to be trendy, but also a lot of pressure to be humble and modest. So what you get is a collective group of hypocrites who can be really nice and great or complete a**holes. 😂
I love to go to Utah to visit, but I am ALWAYS happy to go home to another state!!!
You look beautiful as always! ❤
Thank you!

Ooh Lorry, if you'd be willing to talk about it I'd love to hear more about why you chose an endoscopic brow lift instead of other approaches. I'm considering having this procedure.
Because it looks the most natural done by my particular surgeon. You may have a different aesthetic preference.
