Great vid and I value your thorough explanation of your impressions of this setup. I learned about the Playseat Sensation from this video and this is a great looking cockpit. (Also, hello neighbor! I am in Oakland)
Lovely setup, but the ARK 55 is an unusual choice for a sim rig. The top half of the screen is being filled by the roof of the car, so that's a lot of monitor you aren't using in sim. Any plans to change to one of the large super ultrawides (49" or 57") or triples?
I guess it depends on how you set the FOV those skinny ultrawides like the 49 or 57 I have no desire to ever use one of those. I prefer the Pimax crystal so the ark is mostly for entertainment and the racing is done through vr. Triple 55 arks would be my preferred choice
Not that I noticed it feels rock solid. I could put this in the back of my ford raptor have someone drive 55 mph down the road and I still think I could drive the sim in the bed and it would Be good.
lol mentions the gloves but not the helmet.. hell i wear mountain bike gloves just to protect my hands,, even 10 nm is enough to cause some friction.. sweat just adds to the immersion
Sweet Sim Setup Man! Really cool that you are in Sacramento as well haha I'm from Roseville CA🤝
