Agreed massively, I don’t preach triples because everyone’s situation is different. I personally much prefer a big ultrawide for racing, as the seamless display is so pleasing :) Thanks for commenting mate!
Finally wanted to hear an opinion on this. I think you should have compared it to others like the lg 45 because I think that’s the comparison that’s more competitive
I haven't personally spent any time more than in passing, with the LG 45 OLED, so I'd be making it up. My experience with the 57 inch Samsung G9 though would suggest a similar outcome, which is that the vertical space you'd gain with a bigger ultrawide monitor makes quite a significant difference. I think it comes down to preference at the end of the day and your all round use case :)
@ no, I didn’t find a solution in regards to console although I do own a oculus headset and I have been on the fence with trying VR now that I’ve upgraded to PC. But upgrading to PC also opened up infinite options in regards to triple screens or curved
When would you make the comparison between the 49' and the 57'? I'm currently looking to buy one next week because in 2 weeks I start a new job and need my own monitor so would be 80% work, 20% simracing
having tried both, it’s really hard to use the 57’ after using the oled. The colours are so beautiful on the 49’ and the blacks are so pure. My only issue is it’s not 4k, but imo that’s a good thing so you can double them up and still run games perfectly
Ultrawides like this are probably the best compromise between wanting something bigger than a single monitor & not having enough space for triples

@@TheCarDoc1FOR THAT BEZELFREE EXPERIENCE I’m gonna dump my triples 27”.
240Hz, 4K, HDR, colors,…. All are welcome
How can you have backlightbleed if there’s no backlight… (as oled are all self-lid leds, so it must be the content viewing)
That sim rig set up is making me envious. Looks mad fun 🤪
aw, Bhavna!! Visit and try it!!
@@TheCarDoc1Have you had a chance to try the 49inch one?
@@Jaur-m5n this is a 49inch
This is the 49 inch. The only oled superultrawide they make. @@Jaur-m5n

Thanks bro, I appreciate it, i’m doing okay :-) How about yourself?
@@TheCarDoc1 Doing well myself. :))
I see that you said it works for console, curious if that includes ACC on Xbox??
Thanks in advance
Can you show us how you mounted it?
I have this monitor, colors are off, not as bright as yours on f1... please could you share your settings?
What adapter did you use to get it to mount up with the TV stand?
You say it works for consoles? How? they are restricted to 16:9 aren't they?
Does this OLED need to shut down every 4 hours to run the maintenance cycle?
Hi,Is this going to work with a 3080? Can full resolution be used or it needs to be reduced ?
Great review, altho the AU prices are off. RRP is $2300AU.
If money isnt a problem, would u get the oled or the neo?
love 32:9 screens for racing , much more convinient than tripples for me . but not on the desk there i gone back from 34" 21:9 to normal 32"
They’re awesome, and convenience is key for a lot of people! Thanks for commenting!
what is your distance from your eyes? so that the curved one closes? because I have 72 but it seems to me that it is too far :(
What makes it compatible for console? Just curious because looking for a large curved option for Xbox?
Did you find a solution? Seems the only curved monitors for XBOX 16:9 are tiny 34 inch. Seems ridiculous you can't get bigger.

nice man , can you link where you got your car Doc light up sign plz ?
What is the distance between you seat and the monitor and the FOV ?
It bothers me a lot that you can’t see the mirrors? Isn’t that a dealbreaker for you ?
I like ultrawides because you can also still play regular games that arent racing sims
Im torn between oled g9 and lg ultragear 45 oled
I like my 45" because you have more of a vertical view. The G9 just seemed to narrow.
is this the 57 or 49?
49
Unfortunately there is no G9 57 Oled (yet?)
you can use this on ps5 gt7 without any stretch??
Yes, but with black bars on the side)
This evening I was like this looks good - nevermind - umm that price is slightly out my budget
I need this monitor
nice aint it!
G9 (49 cali ? Or neo 57 cali ?
49 is Oled Cali or Neo 57 no Oled no Cali.👍

If you are going for immersion, you cant beat vr imo
1000R is a tighter radius that 1800R!
My car was less than half that 👀
Nice, but smaller than my 77" TV using 3840 x 1080 resolution setting. 😜
Wait….77” but 3840x1080 ??
@@TheCarDoc1 Use Nvidia Control Panel to set resolution accordingly. Mine's a 4K TV.

No, they look silly. Triples or VR only.
Only shit thing with the oled is the curv aint enough for sim racing
I would prefer a 65" LG OLED TV before this ultrawide
