ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it's true. So what's motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn't an easy time but I won't let fear dictate my life. I didn't think 'why me', there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it's not always smooth sailing. It's true when you hear, 'Life is short', the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It's so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?
Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot.

Have a great day!!

“I’m sorry, I have to turn it up a little louder”
Yes! I don’t always listen to Iron Maiden, but when I do, so do the neighbors 😆
😆
🤟🤟
Right! It ain't loud enough till the neighbors start headbanging too.
I dont have enough money to buy speakers. But if i did. My neighbors will have to do the same . 😎
I dunno...I've got almost 800W RMS in my vehicle and about 4 times that in my 2 channel/home theater hybrid system...lots of folks around me have to hear what I listen to sometimes... A little louder isn't enough :)
Bruce Dickinson has an amazing philosophy about singing, particularly vocals in heavy metal. He was quoted in an interview a couple of years ago that, “you can learn an awful lot from babies. I mean, the racket that comes out of that tiny little thing. And it goes on forever - they don’t lose their voice, do they, ever? Babies have got no fear of just letting rip with all their diaphragm and everything. And they’ve got these tiny little lungs. My God, they make an amazing noise. So you think about that, and you think when people say, “Oh, I cant sing.” Oh, yes you can - you’ve just forgotten how to do it.”
I agree and have said the same thing 👍
That's absolutely brilliant!
"I'm sorry, I have to turn it up a little louder."
She's beginning to believe
what do you mean?
zarakul 666 I suggest to watch Matrix ;)
She already believes.
SCREAM FOR ME REBECCA!!!
UP THE EFFIN IRONS
Bruce is a true Renaissance Man. Pilot, Fencer, Musician, Historian
you forgot author... ;)
@@Windle_Poons and trooper :v
Did he get Knighted by the Queen yet?
Whenever I'm depressed I compare myself to Bruce Dickinson...
Doesn't help at all.
@@Bldyiii HE knighted the Queen.
"Sorry, I'm going to turn it up just a little bit louder." Yeah, you don't know how often that sentence got me in trouble with my mother in the '80s.
Lol yes Parents did not get it
It's when your parents turn it up that you have to worry. 😜
haha at least some things never change! :D
My parents never had to worry. I had my walkman and then I'd blast the stereo when they weren't home. LOL
Yeah,I had the same problem in the 70's with me playing my Deep Purple,Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin LP's way too loud. Then I discovered Iron Maiden,Dio and Metallica and pissed my wife off through most of the 80's and 90's.(perhaps that's why she left me Lol).
Bruce is 62 years old - amazing he can still sing like that - huge respect !
Don't forget he had kicked cancer out of his body not so long ago... :)
He's 62, he beat cancer, AND he can sing like that at a full sprint...for hours on end.
He honestly gets better as he gets older. Same goes for the whole band. They sound better live now than they ever did.
@@thatpointinlife there's nothing unusual in bands mastering their technical perfection with time. But Bruce, Adrian, Dave, Janick and Steve still have enough stamina to speed around the stage like 20-yo's... There IS something Eddie'sh aboiut these guys, no doubt about that... :)
He is the only one I can remember, whose voice didn't suffer *at all* from the age.
Rebecca darling, I have to admit that you’ve never come across to me as a natural metalhead, but you saying you have to turn up the volume while listening to Iron Maiden tells me that you definitely ‘get it’!!! You ain’t no typical rock chick, but your appreciation of rock and metal is very endearing to me...
So what we learned from today’s episode is that Rebecca appreciates:
-nimble fingers
-being inundated with the full thrust
-letting it seep in and sit in her
-letting it pulsate
Sometimes I wonder if she doesn’t have two windows open on her computer, but we can only see one.
And the frequency with which she uses the word "eargasmic"... the way she squirms in her chair...
This is why Iron Maiden still sells out stadiums after 40+ years. They're brilliant performers and songwriters.
For a guy who I believe is in his early sixties and has had throat cancer, I’d say jolly good job. He is so underrated.
Bruce is known as a metal God! Not underrated
Underrated? Bruce Dickinson Underrated? Really???
Underrated? By whom? Bieber fans??
This was before the cancer came along.
Yeah he's looked at as GOD in metal land.
"Exquisite, nimble fingers"
That's what SHE said!
Any woman who can appreciate Iron Maiden, the greatest heavy metal band of all time, is a keeper!!
Also helps that she is bloody gorgeous!
Stop lying🤓🤓🤓🤓
@@hotdogpepper8410 they are both up there... I like maiden a little better but i agree JP are one of the greatest
In the immortal words of Bill and Ted, "Iron Maiden! EXCELLENT!!"
Have you seen the new one?,.. very excellent, my friend. Statioooooon!!!
Don't worry, I doubt he's hurting himself. He's found some way to perform this 3000 times!
Yeah, and even went through a tongue cancer on the way and had to learn to speak again after the surgery, let alone sing. Maybe Bruce is actually Ed? Some kind of beast at least...
Cage80 Eddie is a representation of what we all are on the inside so you aren’t wrong
@@Garbox80 I think he said that singing was easier, especially the higher notes. Still, damn impressive. The man is a master.
Good ole Dave Murray... the ever-smiling guardian of the stage.
Bruce is actually a world class athlete: during the Maiden years in the 1980s, he was actually one of the best fencers in the world. He didn't make the Olympics, but he was certainly highly ranked enough to be in the discussion. Its no wonder he can maintain his vocal strength while engaging in a higher degree of physicality than you normally see out of a rock singer.
Bruce Dickinson said Rime of the Ancient Mariner is his favorite song to perform live. It's a long one, but would like to see you're reaction to that one.
Of the 187 available tracks, Rime is a cast iron top 10 classic. Flight 666 performance is mind-blowing.
Great channel btw, 1M subs😲Wow.
it's also my favorite song performed live by Maiden so I'd say Bruce has good taste!
I think she did that one before, I was wrong it was hollowed be thy name
@@DTWC that one was fantastic too! Bruce carried that one note longer than a mumble rapper's entire song!
Opera ix did a great cover of time of the ancient mariner
Saw them live FINALLY on this last tour! At 47, I've been a fan since high school and the stars never aligned to see them in concert until just recently.
You’re reaction to Iron Maiden is the same I had when I was 16yo and seeing them as my first concert ever and I felt alive like not many other bands music stirs emotion. I enjoy watching you’re emotional reactions. So I’m not weird or maybe we both are. Lol
3 guitars playing on target with just slightly different tone - amazing. Adrian coming back and Janick staying have made Maiden even more awesome. Dave and Steve keeping it down and Bruce singing like an air raid siren. Such an absolute pleasure to have been a fan for just shy of 4 decades now. Can't imagine life without Maiden...
"whats he up to up there?" thats exactly what its like seeing them live. theres so much going on at once, youre constantly looking around to see whats happening. Usually Janick Jers has got his leg 6 feet in the air and helicoptering his guitar, theres some massive set prop moving around, Bruce is running around the stage like a maniac.... steve is always just standing front and center, holding down the galloping bassline, screaming the lyrics at the crowd with no microphone.
there is nothing in this world like an iron maiden concert.
Up the Irons! \m/
"There's music that needs to be played at a certain decibel"
In the words of ManOwaR: "the gods made heavy metal and we saw that it was good.
They said to play it louder than hell, we promised that we would.
When losers say it's over with, we know that it's a lie.
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die."
Facts in evidence. :)
Wise words
Amen to manowar
That album is my favorite Manowar album! Although, my favorite song on it is Courage.
They are the *KINGS OF METAL!!!*
*🤘👹🤘*
I love how into the music she gets, too. Years ago, Bruce was referred to as a "vocal air raid siren". He was even better back in the 80s! If you haven't already, you should check out Iron Maiden's "Aces High"!
I love that Steve sings almost every song because he wrote almost every song including lyrics.
That is why I consider him one of the three true musical geniuses in the rock/metal genres.
She should react to "Children of the Damned" by them. Bruce sings like a god
Yes! Great recommendation!
And you listen to Rainbow, i see you are a man of culture aswell.
@@EdoSynysterfan gates of babylon
Rebecca my darling, I'm happy to see how much you appreciate the full compliment of musicians; guitars, drums, bass, and of course vocals. That's what makes you the best. Stay beautiful.
Growing up in the Northeast in the 80s and the 90s, Iron Man was our identity. They set the bar. We all have an Eddie tattooed somewhere.
Tongue cancer didn’t even slow him down! The man is invincible!
Bruce Dickinson still is one of the best metal vocalists out there and he's in his 60s and has been at it since the 70s.
BTW, this was a pretty subdued performance by him. Normally he's much more active on stage. Running around, jumping, climbing on stuff, hitching a ride on the camera, that kind of thing. According to him he often practices singing while riding a bike to prepare himself for the physical exertion of being on stage.
BTW his solo stuff is excellent as well, like Tears of the Dragon or Accident of Birth. Very different from Maiden, though, in many regards. Like Accident of Birth hits much harder. Also much dirtier, see Dive, Dive, Dive.
BTW Maiden had two guitarists for most of their existence. Then Bruce and Adrian Smith left and they got replacement for both. When Bruce and Adrian returned to Maiden they simply kept the "replacement" guitar player and continued with three guitars.
Adam? Who the hell is Adam?
I have been a Maiden fan since 1980. I remember when the number of the beast came out and I was blown away by Bruce. Not to knock Paul Dianno, but Bruce took them to the next level. The entire band is awesome but Bruce was just what they needed
I know Adrian left but didn't Janek Gers play w Bruce on his solo stuff? I could be wrong, but I remember Bruce bringing him on for Fear of the Dark, then Blaze replaced Bruce for 2 records, Bruce came back and the final lineup was in place for Brave New World...maybe? Im still recovering from the '80s.
@@jcass1970 He played on Tattooed Millionaire.
@@jcass1970 Janick Gers did play guitar on Bruce's first solo album but that was recorded while Bruce was still with Iron Maiden. He left, Adrian left with him and went on to play on Bruces solo stuff along with Roy Z. It took him some time though and the guitarist on Bruce's second album was Alex Dickson. Maiden hired Janick as replacement for Adrian - and now they have a triple attack of Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers. And yes, that happened before the Brave New World album.
i see Rebecca reacts to metal. i click like. i m a simple man
My favorites are her PanterA and Nightwish reaction videos!! 🤘🤘
Ahhh Ved Buens Ende! Love them! Saw them in CZ last summer. Fantastic music.
If you listen to Bruce's voice from his years at Samson until today, you will realize that his vocals are maturing year by year. What makes him the best metal singer is his passion and persistence in becoming better and for this reason he has been able to catch notes in his voice over the years that other singers fail to catch. All this in combination with the enchanting music that Steve Harris writes in his songs made Iron Maiden the best band in the world!
Samson not Saxon
Do you mean Samson?
They guys are amazing musicians. Singer, guitar player, drummer, just all of them are awesome. The way how they serve so much is just insane. Utterly fascinating. 👌🏼
"That was clearly masterful." Love your reactions, Rebecca!

RickGtr271, great idea! How about an alarm clock that says “Hello my darlings”?
"That was jolly" a 1st time hearing Iron Maiden described like that.
It works, though.
His voice is amazing. Bruce has stated many times that they still play all their songs in the original key that they were recorded. No downtuning or enhancements. If you compare this to the original recording from 30+ years ago, it's mindblowing.
Seeing Iron Maiden live is incredible! You can feel the energy that Bruce Dickinson is giving off and it just gets you even more pumped!
They are absolutely incredible live!! Enjoyed the Nashville shoe a few years back! Bruce slays!!
I was there when this was recorded, absolutely demolishing experience. One of the top acts I've ever seen live
God, I love how Iron Maiden have reached such a high level of musical craftsmanship, that they can basically just have fun on stage while still pulling off an amazing show; absolute Legends!

PS: Bruce had throat cancer during this concert. Incredible!
Wow considering I was listening to iron maiden when I was 18 years old and gonna be 58 next month. I feel like someone should be bringing me my cane just about now. Thanks for the little trip down memory lane lol.
I have NO idea how I missed video on your Sha-nnel! Iron Maiden is a band I've admired for many years, since seeing them on the Powerslave Tour in '85. Dickinson and the band are incredible musicians! Still a lot of showmanship considering the ages, still amazing after all these years. Loved the reaction to Dave Murray shredding. Thanks for the vid, hope you are well Ms. RRRRebecca.
I love listening to her she makes my soul smile
"Shaaaroooon!" That got me straight away. Good to hear your voice again dear lady. Thanks for this one.
I remember watching this video on tv when I was 13-ish, it was my first Iron Maiden experience. I was an instant fan.
I always get a greater appreciation for the music I love from listening to your responses. Your remark about the "bro-mance igniting on stage" literally made me LOL! :) Thank you Rebecca!!
The U L T I M A T E "galloping" song.... after Piece of Mind the world has changed forever...
The ultimate gallop is run to the hills
Achilles Last Stand from Led Zeppelin, 7 years before
I'm still oddly proud of the fact that Piece of Mind was the first album I bought with my own money. From my paper route, when I was nine, in 1982. Never looked back.
Your reaction is great. Really your reaction is amazing work. Iron Maiden is the legend of Heavy Metal. One of the best metal bands in the rock and metal scene. Iron Maiden is the Titan in this genre. Great musicians and great singer. Keep up the great work :-).
"I find that with certain music you have to have it at a certain... decibel." Just fell for you a bit there, classiest way to say "Crank it to 11".
On a mission to see every Iron Maiden reaction... I love Maiden, seen them twice, one of the best bands to see live. Can die happy I saw run to the hills live, the trooper, fear of the dark and hallowed be thy name
We all remember Rock in Rio back in 2001....band and fans all in one....it just is!!
While The Trooper is an awesome song, it's just really straight forward full blast. I think Flight of Icarus highlights his vocals better, although I'm not sure if he can still hit that last amazing high note anymore. Maybe an older performance of it. **edit** Actually it seems like one of the best live performances of it is the Live from the Legacy Of The Beast Tour version from 2019! Also his voice is more dynamic in songs like Revelations.
Still life and revelations are just so good. Thinking about the masterpiece that is revelations just gives me goose bumbs
@@drsipp407 so good to see appreciation for Still Life! Wonderful song, a favourite of mine from Piece of Mind.

I actually saw them a few days before this concert in São Paulo. Bruce sang just perfect
You got a completely different era of Iron Maiden on this song than you did in hallowed be thy name. That previous video, I would bet, was recorded in either 1983 or 1984. I know the Trooper was filmed in 1999 or later (probably later), as the band had three guitarists. That only happened in 1999 and after. I will tell you that Bruce Dickinson and, really all of the band were over 50 whenever this was recorded. Yet, they still sound great. Plus, as I said, no more than five weeks ago, 09/04/2021, they put out a new cd. They are good at any age, but playing this kind of music at over 60, is unbelievable.
If Bruce Dickinson wants more cowbell, we're gonna give him more cowbell!!!

Such an amazing level of detail. Easier to catch on the studio version ofc but anyone else realize when he hits the lyrics for “the bugle sounds the charge begins” … THe-chARGe Be-GINssss. His pace and his vocal notes are matching the actual military bugle call
Dearest RRRRRRRRebecca, another masterful reaction. Digging the wavy hair today (I'm just jealous because I've got bugger all). If I was to give a personal view on the abilities of one Mr Bruce Dickinson as a singer-I would say that when he was on top of his game he was possibly the best male vocalist out there. He has however suffered numerous problems that were in no small part due to his singing too much on the edge of his range and being involved in a band that toured almost constantly during the eighties and early nineties. His vocal range was so badly diminished by around 1988 that he was painful to listen to in the live setting. He later seemed to adopt a totally diferent singing style and after a spell away from Iron Maiden-came back and was hitting notes that he couldn't hit when he was 15 years younger. He is still performing today and there is a degree of degradation to his abilities but they are more to do with the natural ageing process rather than poor technique.
This guys are in their mid-sixties...
